Great consultants, but misleading hidden fees at checkout
The travel service itself is excellent—plenty of tours to choose from, highly professional and friendly consultants, and excellent itinerary flexibility (5/5 stars for the team!).
Unfortunately, the payment experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Their payment gateway, Mint, completely misled me. The checkout screen only showed the base amount, but after completing the payment, I discovered I was hit with an undisclosed 1.4% surcharge. Normally, credit card surcharges are clearly displayed upfront. Had I been properly informed, I would have happily chosen an alternative fee-free method like a bank transfer. Total transparency is needed here, as hiding the fee until after authorization is unacceptable.

platinum small group tour of Sri Lanka
The platinum small group tour of Sri Lanka was wonderful from start to finish - well-organised, amazing experiences, excellent accommodation and food. Our guide was extremely helpful, friendly and well-informed throughout all our diverse experiences. The wildlife parks were definitely a highlight for me - seeing elephants and leopards in their natural habitat up close was unforgettable!

IV is a great option for small tours
IV managed all tour elements well, including booking / helpful tips and general insights to tour Sri Lanka. A hitch at beginning with with our email contact, once rectified IV staff (who were lovely) called and ensured we were caught up on communication. IV provided tour options, add ons and we were able to consider these options using an information contained on website portal.

Support very helpful. Initially very frustrating as my emails with attachments were going to my junk mail. Support person eventually figured it out. Apparently can happen when using an iphone. Otherwise very happy.

Best tour ever
It is 4.5 stars. Apart from the limited freedom(because of group tour, which is impossible to change), I belive the tour was very nice with paronomic scenic views and great activities. Thank you Dylan for such a wonderful effort guiding us through Korea. Love it!

A most amazing Japan experience
It was a most amazing experience on this tour of Japan. Very well organized. The itinerary covered the most interesting attractions of the places and activities that enhanced the experience. Pacing was just right. Both the welcome dinner and farewell dinner were great choices. Osama the tour guide is great. He gave us over and above value with lots of background information, helped us with whatever, and made us tour members feel like family. Moto-san the bus driver was very efficient and helpful. Accommodation was fine; close to town centres and accessible to shopping and eating places. Very good value. We were happy on this first visit to Japan and we will be back. My only suggestion is to mention that taking the train from airport is a cheaper option than having to take an expensive airport transfer vehicle, taxi or limousine bus.

Sri Lanka Visit
Recently returned from Sri Lanka on a solo small group journey. I found the tour guide to be very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about his country.
Accommodation was varied but were welcomed warmly at each hotel with either a cold drink or small towels to cool our brows or a local flower.
Visited two national parks and saw elephants in the wild. Stunning creatures! deer, peacocks, glorious coloured birds and even a crocodile. No cheetahs unfortunately. We climbed Lion Rock and whilst some of the climb was challenging, arriving at the summit was amazing.
Our bus driver was great as was his assistant. No luggage lost or persons left behind!
Would recommend Inspiring Vacations as had no hassles when booking and any questions asked via email were answered promptly. Thank you!!
