An obnoxious man

Recently contacted this company to ask about a fire proof cement. I found the guy I spoke to totally obnoxious.... telling me I had read too much on the internet......not what I expected when I was only wanting to purchase a bag of fire clay cement. I got bombarded with a load of questions, it’s a good job he wasn’t stood in front of me.
Pizza oven .....? You have obviously gotten me mixed up with some other poor customer wanting a bit of advice. My enquiry was about a fire back for a cast iron fire place with an inset.
(Pizza Oven). Be careful what you wish for horrible man.

Excellent Service from Installaflame

I very seldom write reviews as I expect good service. However, Eric from Installaflame deserves a special mention. On 18th May we ordered a clay fireback for our 1930s fireplace. A few days later we changed our minds as we decided to completely replace the fireplace with something grander using a Victorian cast iron fireback and timber surround already in our possession. Eric's advice and patience over numerous phone conversations and emails was invaluable in helping us decide on a new hearth and fire basket, which in the end we are having to purchase elsewhere as Installaflame were unable to meet our very tight timetable. Thank you Eric for all your help.

I would like to say a huge thank you to…

I would like to say a huge thank you to Eric for his fantastic service throughout this order . I was kept informed during this difficult time of covid 19 and he didn’t disappoint .He went over and above to complete my order in time for installation on moving into our house. I will certainly recommend them and use again. Gillian

Disgusting customer service

My mum ordered from this company last week and after letting her know there would be a long delivery time she requested a refund. This was only 4 days ago but I called them this morning for my mum and then text to ask what the expected refund date was and got this reply (I hadn't asked for a double refund, just an update on the refund!). Decide for yourself if you want to buy from a company like this (I had to edit the name they called me as it breaches trust pilot rules):

The refund was processed on 16/04/2020 you need to check with your bank!
What an idit, I cannot believe you ask for double what you pay? Despite telling you on a different number of the delay you cancel after InstallAflame gets charged for capturing the funding and I have Never had your money!

( I am sick of this ) Don't you just love these Idiots!

1, Customer places an order during lockdown, without checking first the item is available as requested on the front page of the site, OK.
2, I reply same day to the customer on a different number used ending 8540 to place the order telling them the manufacturer is on lockdown and there is a delay (No answer received)
3, Next Day I get a message after the capture process is done saying they don't want to wait and can they have a refund which was done promptly on 16/04/2020 at 14:47
4, 20/04/2020 Message received from the Idiot daughter who wrote this review (See Below)

(Despite cancelling my order twice because of the time delay you have still taken the money from my account.
I would as previously requested more than twice like my money back,
Kim pau.)

She says SHE requested TWICE her money back? And starts her review saying her mum placed the order ( she has the cheek to pretend to be the buyer!)

I know I shouldn't Reply to these SAD people but when all the world is passing away this is NOT needed at this time!

I shall report this review from someone who is NOT the buyer, and say "GET A LIFE" you sad person!

Really disappointed with the service

Really disappointed with the service. Placed an order online, got a call the next day saying the price was wrong on the internet and they could not sell it to me for that price but said they would email me a discounted price by way of an apology. Got an email with no price on it so replied asking for the price they would give and got no response. I rang them to follow up and was told he didn't like my attitude and did not want to go any further with it. It comes across that this is all my fault. Really disappointing after all it was not me who put the product on their website with the wrong price on it!

A review from someone I don't want to deal with?
I am really disappointed with this customer, firstly the site price structure was wrong for the item she ordered and explained this and she said she was disappointed and I reiterated my position as it was listed incorrect from customer services, This customer didn't understand and came back blunt and obtuse and demanded an explanation with email, I sent her mail asking did she want me to provide her a revised price which would have been to her advantage and never got a reply, she did reply the day after in a short sentence saying "Where is my Price" and I took this as not acceptable from this person, she came on the phone again with long pauses and her attitude is not something I am prepared to put up with so I have refused to deal with her with this attitude and don't want her business.
Now she spits her dummy out and leaves a 1 Star review from someone who said she feels ripped off, she hasn't paid anything, she hasn't lost anything? saying I wont deal with her? I think its the other way round, perhaps you will get better service if you have a better approach to the service industry in general.
The Fireplace industry is very, very busy at this time of year and I have 1000's of customers to look after why should I give time to someone who speaks to me with this attitude as NO customer services would accept this!

Great service

Telephoned this company today to place an order for firesurround after receiving very bad attitude and service from another online store. The gentlemen at Installaflame was absolutely fantastic, wanted my business and was keen to help me organise delivery for an address I don’t live at.

Fireplace chamber - top notch!

Bought a fireplace chamber from this firm in October. They are a supplier - they don't personally make the chambers. That said, if you want one of these, you will find there are very limited options around. You may also then read some of the reviews before buying and some of the mixed reviews might put you off. From my experience, this would be a huge error. We had a few delivery issues with the courier and Eric couldn't have gone further out of his way to sort things out. He was available throughout and really did everything possible to assist in getting the product to us. Once received, it looked as we'd hoped - but it was after having it installed that it really does come in to its own. It looks absolutely spot on and the quality and look is fantastic. We couldn't be happier, both with the product but also with the firm's assistance in delivery and availability. I would highly recommend both the product and the firm.

Just a thank you for your help with our fire surround, all now seems to be working perfectly, the frame and hood in one piece fit like a glove and looks marvelous congratulations to you and the supplier for a superb product and to yourself for fantastic customer service.

THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS!

We purchased a fire trim from this company and when it arrived it was not as advertised. The top part simply just sat on top of the side parts.
When we complained they were VERY reluctant to accept a return and it took a few e-mails before they agreed. But when we sent it back to them we felt they had already made up their minds not to refund and had gone to town on the photos of the unopened package, which was undamaged.
Not only are they not refunding our money but they have kept hold of the product as well! So we've paid them £37 + postage and have nothing!
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

What a stupid person this is!
WE HAVE RETURNS ALL THE TIME AND CUSTOMERS ALWAYS HAVE THIS CHOICE ITS THE LAW!
This idiot returns a frame in bad packaging, badly protected and when it arrives bent doesnt believe me even though all photographs of the packaging at reciept are provided
The chosen courier insists and demands all photographs are taken and supplied to them but this idiot wouldnt understand this!
Please advise if you want the item returning!
