Shady company

The first two years were without incident and I was fine with the service until the 3rd year renewal. Suddenly the price was doubled and taken from my bank without any renewal email being sent to me. Even though on the 1st renewal the price wasn't changed and I was sent an email that time. When I called to ask about the dramatic increase the man lied to me and said there had been a price input wrong last year (even though that was simply a renewal of the previous years policy). I couldn't afford to pay what they were asking for so needed to cancel and go with towergate at a third of the price for a much better policy. So it's not like I was asking for an unreasonable price. The price I am paying now is waaay cheaper than I originally paid the other years. Just wish I insured with them from the start! The real issue that I have a massive problem with came about when the guy started saying if I cancel my policy and need to make a backdated claim from the time I was insured with insync, then I won't be covered because they only pay out on current policy holders. Like wtaf?! Is that even legal? What have I paid all that money for?????!!!! It was waaay more than the going rate for that policy and now it's been voided from the start because I changed insurance. Just with them suddenly putting the price up like that it seems like blackmail, entrapment or profiteering, all of which are illegal activities. I am contacting the financial ombudsman and getting legal advice to see if there's anything I can do, but it's in the policy so I'm knackered I think. Just don't make my mistake. They have 2 stars here for a very very good reason. They are con artists and bullies. I'm not dropping this unless I get refunded for the past two years I am now uninsured for, or can get assurance that I am insured for those two years.
So basically I've not been insured for the last two years because I chose a shady company!!! I've booked the rest of my day out to review this company anywhere I can. Don't want people falling for the same con as me!

Karolis at Insync was fantastic at sorting out our insurance. Our current insurance company stopped covering bars and there was a fraudulent claim in court which meant most insurers would either not quote or would want thousands to cover a small bar. He persisted in looking and talking to companies I can't praise him enough has saved us a small fortune
I would recommend them and don't understand the negative reviews

Terrible

Terrible.

I've emailed twice now using the email address that is within the portal and haven't had a single response. One email was a week ago today, the other email 3-4 weeks ago.

They're genuinely not bothered.

Repressed by inadequate agent

Today I got referred to Insync Insurance Solutions by AXA.

I completed webform, selecting Contract Cleaning as my primary business. The webform asks if I’d like to ensure for other. I added cleaning services, and domestic services.
I entered financial information and company details. The Webform referred me to an email address or telephone number.
I decided to contact your office by telephone. I selected options and was put through tom Adam. I explained why I called. Adam asked what the nature of business is. I asked if he could access webform already completed. Adam responded (No, will need to start from scratch). I informed Adam that I selected three trades, primary being contract cleaning, additional two being domestic services and cleaning services. Adam asked what exactly I mean by domestic services. I explained. Adam mentioned that my trades sounds like broad spectrum of services, is this a new business or do I have renewal coming up. I answered. Adam asked when renewal date is. I answered (explaining that I require business equipment cover. Adam asked if I have business premises. I answered. Adam asked if I am just working from home. I answered. Adam asked for equipment value. I answered. (Asking if he is referring to business equipment or tools). Adam asked what sort of equipment I am taking out and about. I asked for an answer to my question (business equipment or tools). Adam replied- to be honest he is struggling to see why I will need tools. And asked what tools I have. I answered. Adam asked for the value of both. I answered. I asked Adam if he is writing value down. Adam asked what tools they are. I answered. Adam asked what/ why I will be using drill / tools. I answered, and asked Adam if he needs to know about anything else. Adam stated to be honest the question he asked was how many trades I will be doing.

I lost patience as later Adam didn’t understand what trades I’m engaging in and what the trades entailed.
I felt repressed and felt that Adam is inexperienced and or unqualified. His conduct is unacceptable, as Adam wouldn’t listen to what I told him, and asked for explanation about operational details about three trades already specified. I felt unwell by his conduct and repression.
Is this the normal standard of service provision expected by Insync Insurance Solutions Ltd?
Although calls are recorded by Insync Insurance Solutions Ltd, I have recording of call available. Please review telephone call. I feel that Adam isn’t suitable employee to receive my call.

Please will you process my complaint?

Taking money out with permission. Constantly bombarded with text messages

This company took money out of my account last year without my permission. I only contacted them and agreed to insurance for the year before. Now this year they have the audacity to send me constant messages saying I have an outstanding balance. When I spoke to a man over the phone he kept talking over me and said no we didn't take money out. Well my bank statement says otherwise. They will send you misleading text messages saying you owe them money to get you to renew your insurance. I might have done but not after the stunts they pull.

Incompetent

Not sure what this company sells but it isn’t insurance. I have been given the run around for 3 days! Multiple calls to the company requesting my policy schedule before I purchased, only to be fobbed off every time with excuse after excuse. If they are unable to provide the insurance then just say so!

Potential Custom Lost

I'm in the planning stage of setting up pet grooming. I got online quotes last night and have been contacted 3 times in less than 24 hours. I wasn't doing anything at 14.57 when they called today, so answered. I was a bit scatty at first since I haven eaten for 6 hours and had no notes in front of me.
The first call handler was Eastern European and could not answer a simple question I had about insurance perspective on training, putting me on hold for a long time then explaining that I would need to speak to sales to have questions answered, which was fine so I held again. The second person when answering the phone broke up a lot, so I asked him to repeat and he mansplained, even over-mansplained how insurance works explaining that any price they give me today will not be the same in September. I had not mentioned price once, the only question I had asked aside from the training question was whether animals would be covered whilst in transit if I opt for a collection service. I explained the previous operative had told me I could speak to sales to have questions answered, turns out he was the first operatives manager and was so patronising, saying he "said at the start of the conversation". As though I hadn't told him he broke up. I didn't ask for a manager nor do I feel the conversation warranted being sent to a manager, I thought it was pleasant enough even though not going my way. Totally inappropriate responses from them both, a waste of all of our time. For comparison, I immediately called their competitor PetPlan and had all of my questions answered efficiently by a professional operator, they will get my business.

Sent an email cancelling insurance and…

Sent an email cancelling insurance and they sent me a default and arrears letter. Phoned them and the lady I spoke to had an attitude saying I sent it to the wrong department. When I googled cancelling InSync this is the email that comes up on their website. They then emailed me, I emailed back confirming cancellation but it bounced back (unable to reply to this email) Another email sent - so waiting on an update. Absolute chancers! AVOID

Time wasters

Emailed Insync if they would insure me in the beauty industry with the qualifications I hold. It's been 1 month and still no reply. Such a time wasters. I can imagine the hassle with this company if someone put the claim in.

Used for few years great service

I have used for liability insurance for a few years now, after reading some bad reviews here though I would write my own. I think I am now on 3rd renewal and Luke is very helpful finds a great deal every time, he gets intouch around a month before the renewal is due which is ideal. I have made a couple of alterations in the time and its never any trouble such as upping the cover or adding a service. So my experience is great and will continue to use their service for years to come

I worked for this company for about a month and it was the weirdest job ever. Absolutely bombarded during your training with quite high level work and I was in the same job as people with mathematical backgrounds - ive only ever worked in call centres. I have no idea why they hired me but it was the most well paid job I've ever had. Lol

Do not use this company

Cancelled my policy after 5 days. However, they are arguing that I am outside the cooling off period as I did the quote two weeks earlier! I've had to send all the documents proving when the insurance started twice and they still cannot be bothered reading them. Shocking company who do not seem to know the law or details of anybody policies

Stay away from this company!!!

Stay away from this company!!!
If you will cancel your policy they will not refund your deposit that you have paid towards your insurance loan. They will tell you it is 'fees and commission'.
Reported it as a fraud to my bank.
If you want to cancel your policy let them know and then cancel your direct debit immediately as they will not refund you anything.
