I just completed my ICA Specialist Certificate in Financial Crime Risk in GBM. This is my first training course with ICA and also a first for me where the training, in addition with the assessment, is fully done online during this unique covid-19 period. Was a very good experience as the online contents are wide-ranging; the recorded webinars and pre-assessment test is target-focused and really helped me in tackling the actual assessment.
The only not so positive side is that the correct answers are not shared in the actual assessment, which I'm still pending the relevant team to revert to my email query. I believe sharing the correct answers at the end of the assessment will definitely helps the students in clearing up any uncertainties / doubts on the specific areas for future on-the-job application.
Other than this, the overall new learning experience had been really enlightening and I thank ICA and the program managers for this positive experience!

The manual of contents was written in very concise and comprehensive way so it was easy to track and catch up main points of every unit. I love the fact I could learn about Money Laundering Risk in Correspondent Banking in different formats such as online manual, webinars, further reading list source. The Self-assessment questions, tasks and Q&A forum helped me prepared robustly about the main exam.
As a suggestion to ICA training department, I can give my proposal for adding more than one type of self-assessment test to the course.

It was indeed a great experience and it opened such insights about KYC and CDD. It would be great to have an online training instead as the 3 hours workshop is not enough.

I really enjoyed the course content and workshops. The material is presented in a way that you can pick up when you have time and fit it around your work. The workshops were well run, both fleshing out the material and giving insight and examples from the instructor and other students experience.

I found the feedback from assignments to be detailed and helpful. Overall I have found the course useful for my development and career in compliance.

Coming from somewhere without a risk/compliance background. The course despite being challenging, allows me to take away a whole lot of knowledge that will be invaluable, which is great especially since I'm about to enter a relevant role that requires such knowledge soon!

It was a great experience, sufficient information about compliance but abit hard for me especially that it was the first time.
there were few face to face sessions which should be added value to students undertaking the course.

Excellent manual, multiple resources, clearly stated content that can easily be used as future reference whenever needed.

I completed my ICA international diploma in AML in January, where I have been waiting to receive my qualification since.
I have contacted the organisation numerous times asking when I will receive my qualification, where the response that I receive is that the certificate needs to be printed.
I am starting to feel that this is a scam and that that there are no official qualifications that will be sent.

The content of the Manual was very well structured and I like many real life examples included into it. It helped me to summarize already gained knowledge and expand my knowledge on some specific topics.

It would be more efficient to have more face to face sessions as I personally valued them the most. I also think that the Assignment questions could be prepared in a more precise way, as sometimes I was not sure what is expected from me.
Maybe you should also consider adding a part of the course which will show the trainees how to write compliance related reports as some of them may have no previous experience in this area.

Fantastic experience studying with ICA. A course with them is well worth it.

The course and the material which were provided were great, as this gave me good understanding of CDD.
It would have been even more helpful if we were able to go through an open book exam paper which were marked. The feedback from that would have helped me to understand how they wanted questions answering on the exam paper.

The course contained everything I needed to become knowledgeable and I thought the support given was good.

It was a great learning experience. I do believe there could be more interaction with exam/assignment assessors who can steer students in the direction/format they would like questions answered.

It was very good experience for me to learn both cources of International Compliance Association (KYC and CDD and Trade Based Money Laundering). I learned a lot of new and useful materials according to this theme. I want to thank the specialists of International Compliance Association for preparing such excellent cources.

I studied again after a long time away and found the ICA a really straightforward return. The key information was available and signposted but a checklist might have helped to ensure I completed everything to get studying in the right order. All interaction with ICA was positive and helpful. Course material was clear and concise. I would have appreciated more examples of expected quality of assignments or examples of responses to questions within each assignment particularly where they were allocated a significant amount of marks. The workshops were helpful and provided great further insight to the subjects being studied. Assignment results were on time and helpful feedback supplied. A good experience all round!

Having previously studied a qualification with the ICA I decided to embark on another one in my chosen field. The course was purely based on the materials provided by the ICA and covered the subject in good detail and I gained a wealth of knowledge that will help in my career. Having studied for a certificate I ended up passing with Distinction. Thank you, ICA!

As a first time student I found the material to be very comprehensive and I enjoyed the experience.
With regards to the final assessment I would have appreciated feedback regarding the questions that were answered incorrectly.
Upon pursuit and completion of other courses additional feedback would be provided.

Overall great experience with my specialist certificate. Easy processing and mainly relevant content. 5th Money Laundering Directive should be more in focus as the currently provided material still focuses on the 4th MLD.
