Consultant who managed my holiday home…

Consultant who managed my holiday home insurance policy, Ella Hicks, has good communication skills, excellent product knowledge and provided outstanding customer service. I would thoroughly recommend Intasure to anyone looking for insurance services & quotations.

Professional set-up

Will have to see what costs are at renewal since I see one or two aghast reviewers here.
That said, I echo what many have stated concerning Zac T. (I won't publish a surname here.)

My first impression was of a comfortable balance in his having an innate professionalism, impressively comprehensive level of product knowledge immediately to mind and a light-hearted, up-beat, 'no upsell' persona.
Various questions were asked by me, including the difference in cost between paying £250 & £500 voluntary excess and the material difference in having zero no claims or max claims bonus.
There was also a potentially contentious issue regarding my property's proximity to water. At my request, Zac used Google Earth and we both were then happy it was beyond the 500-metre mark.
I call that accommodating, obliging, competent: problem-solving.
Zac isn't a head-scratcher; he gets on with it.
It was at that point actually that Zac had, in principle, got his sale. Only an unreasonable premium would have caused me to further shop around.

I didn't see any need for any of the bolt-ons, including key loss cover, legal cover and etc.. Zac was duly respectful of this. To be clear, at no time was there any attempt at 'upsell.' Not even a hint; I would have smelt it. He had judged his audience of one rather well.
To that extent, we got on. This is, usually, crucial in any sales negotiation. It was always an easy, productive, pleasant dialogue.
The transaction was completed across 2 phone calls with Zac calling back as promised a few days on.

I was so impressed by this young man's approach & demeanour that, as matters concluded, I asked to speak with his Line Manager.
I am happy to make similar comment here. As I have on my local Spanish forum.
Zac, expect some calls in asking for "Zac T."
Mine's a Guinness!

Looking at various other reviews here - including the mention of Zac's colleagues - I get the impression Intasure has rather nailed it regarding employing the correct type for this job.
It does indeed take a certain type.
And it rather looks like I didn't need to tell them that.

From me, personally, Zac, I thank you for a very pleasant 2 conversations with you just a few days ago as I write and for insuring me so reasonably.
In conclusion and on that specific point, my policy works out at 72p odd per day, a fiver per week, which is competitive, especially since other '2nd home' insurers such as Schofields actively get rid of 'long-term/never claimed' clients such as myself because it no longer wants to insure Spanish property. I was, in effect, ultimately priced-out.
Their loss. My gain.

I am hoping Zac will diarise a call to me as my policy nears renewal. I would happily take a call from him to arrange that.
If the cost remains reasonable, I would not trouble to shop around because there are several elements at play actually, aren't there.. relative cost, policy cover, excesses & exclusions.. oh, and client service.
All 'nailed' on this visit !

speedy and great service

I was called back almost straight after sending my enquiries form. Vikash was knowledgeable, helpful and fast. Sometimes spoke a bit quickly, but with the amount of things to explain and go through it was appreciated.
Everything was straightforward and explained in full.

Professional and Competitive

I found Intasure online, as I was after home insurance on my holiday apartment in Praia Da Luz, Algarve, in a very competitive world.
The second I spoke to Julian Williams, Sales Advisor, he was very professional and knew exactly what I was after.
As a result, I purchased my insurance through him and his company, and got very comprehensive price and cover.
Highly recommended.

Helpful for a second home and listed building

I had a small listed building to insure as a second home. It is a bit outside the norm and as a result I was not getting much joy with the standard form filling on price comparison sites. I came to intasure via one such site however and they phoned me back within a few minutes of me submitting my phone number. The advisor Zac was knowledgable and helpful and I’m reassured that the house is properly insured.

Tyler Markwell from Intasure excellent

Tyler Markwell was one of the most polite, knowledgeable, happy and easy going insurance person I have ever spoken to ever. He made everything easy to understand and any questions I had I wasn't made to feel silly. Sometimes I don't quite understand insurance jargon and he explained it jargon free. Thank you

Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly service

I telephoned after submitting my online request and my call was answered by Zac. After the obligatory (but helpful) regulatory info we went through my requirements and although the questions were naturally extensive he very quickly came up with a quote with a number of different sub-options which we discussed. I didn't feel under any pressure to accept the quote and he was happy to discuss all my questions and explain the various claims limitations and excesses available. I paid via bank transfer afterwards so there were no concerns about card details being given over the phone. Very quick e-mail follow-up so I had all the documents in front of me to review. I have not used them before (and had no claims experience!) but Zac's service was exemplary.

Zac provided excellent customer service. He had great product knowledge and helpfully guided us through the process ensuring that we understood exactly the coverage of the insurance so we knew precisely what we were buying

How refreshing to speak to someone who…

How refreshing to speak to someone who was professional, very polite, knowledgeable and punctual from start to finish. Rubin was excellent. He called me back EXACTLY on time as agreed and answered all my questions directly, with the exception of one which he politely put my on hold and sought the answer from a colleague and relayed the answer to me. An outstanding representative.
