Speedy and impressive service
Called me back straight away. Knowledgeable and friendly lady Solange answered all my questions (im renovating my house and needed to know what kind of insurance I needed), filled in all the forms for me and got me a great price. All really fast. When I did call them back a very nice lady answered the phone and put me through really quickly.

We had great customer service by Rachael with a high level of support for dealing with a renewal for my mother .
The assistance Rachael gave was over and above at a difficult family time .
My only slight problem was the phone line was crackly and kept dipping out making communication a little muffled.

Please avoid this company. Customer service is not great and you get charged for cancellation even if you sold your house that the insurance was taken out for.

Intelligent Insurance acts illegal
This company renews the insurance automatically (to any price they like) without the customer agreement and they withdraw the money from the bank directly. This is illegal.
Also, they email the customer from a no-reply address with no phone to contact them. The app has no way to reject the renewal unless you cancel with £60 fee.
This is all against FCA consumer rights act.
I reported them to FCA.

For clarity, there is no fee for choosing not to renew a policy, and customers can opt out of automatic renewal via MyAccount, telephone, webchat or email. Where an automatic renewal payment fails, the reminder email also includes a simple “Don't wish to renew” option to opt out immediately. I can confirm your policy has now lapsed and no payment is due.

Did what is said on the tin. Helpful staff in particular Jack who dealt with my enquiry, sorted a suitable policy efficient and communicated well. Cost acceptable on 1st quote no messing around needing another quote for Intelligent to be able to match.

Can't access your portal from renewal email,can't phone up to speak to anyone,£35 cheaper on go compare for new customer than a loyal one,finally got through to chat online asked if you could do at same price as go compare took that long to reply go fed up so just bought at renewal price still can't access your website now to view documents...

Good insurance company with unhelpful website
Good insurance company which provides cost-effective insurance quotations, but with a significantly unhelpful website, which does not allow minor changes in circumstances (or a change to one's own email address), nor provide an email address by which to email the company. Updates must be performed via web-chat, which is quite clunky, and which took nearly 40 minutes to make two trivial changes. This did not seem to be a productive use of either my time or that of the adviser.
