Worst Customer Service ever experienced! *(Ben was the exception!)
Order placed online on with 'Blinds Direct' 10/08 with a 6-8 day delivery window, I specifically chose blinds with a short delivery lead time for my sons' bedrooms as we had moved into a new house with no blinds or curtains. Over 3 weeks later, after numerous phone calls, emails and a succession of false promises from 'customer service' agents who quite frankly couldn't have cared less, my order finally arrived on Saturday 31/08 - no dispatch email or tracking information as promised but in the big picture of things this was the least of my worries! The quality of the product is ok for what we paid, a couple of small scratches on the wooden venetian blind but once they were hung the scratches aren't seen (and to be honest I don't have the energy to take it up with them!)
I have today spoken with the first genuine agent, Ben, who has actually taken the time to listen to my issue and assist me in some way - thank you Ben! I had a second order, which was placed the following day with a longer estimated dispatch timescale, I have now cancelled this order and await a full refund. Ben has also offered me 10% compensation on the original order and a phone call from a member of the management team this afternoon - to be honest I'm not holding my breath and will most definitely never order from or recommend this company again!
Below acceptable customer service, curtains never arrived and no refund
Ordered a pair of curtains that cost me almost £1k, the payment was processed immediately and estimated dispatch time of 7-9 working days. After 11 working days have passed and no sign of curtains or any sort of updates I called their customer service. I have been assured that the curtains were made and will be dispatched shortly. Few days passed and again no sign of anything. Called again and also been told that for sure next day will be dispatched. Guess what? No sign of curtains the next day, so called again and been told that actually the curtains are not done yet. WHAT? Been promised that they will look into it. Later that day received an email stating that the model is not in stock and it will take a least one month to have it. Why they had to wait for weeks to realize they don't have it in stock? Why I had to chase them so many times for them to do their job? And the worse one so far why they have been lying to me? I will never use them again and I don't recommend it to anyone. Just use your hard earned money elsewhere whey they can provide a service and you get what you paid for. They can't even process a refund and I have been told so many lies. The only way to get their attention was to write a program that sent an email every 5 minutes asking for my money back. After approx 30-40 emails sent on the same day, they eventually did it and called me to stop it as I blocked their stupid mail server. DO NOT TOUCH THEM!!!
Horrendous unprofessional and ilegal
I have never dealt with a company that has such poor customer service. I ordered my blinds and curtain poles on the 10th May 2019 with 'Blinds Direct' one of there trading names, I was very happy. Well I was until I got an email from the company on the 17th May telling me that there was an issue and my order had been cancelled. My bank account reflected this. The payment had gone back into my account. When I questioned the email I was told a mistake had been made and that it was an issue with delivery of the curtain poles. That it hadn't been cancelled. But my bank was still showing the payment had been cancelled and the money returned. I didn't want to get goods I hadn't paid for plus the strange cancellation email. I requested to cancel the whole order. I did this via email on the 17th and then on the 20th when I didn't hear a anything from the first email. I then went and bought blinds and curtain poles from a local big chain store. The payment had not left my bank, I believed the order was cancelled. I got a delivery email without a tracking number on it, on the 27th that I could magically track?! Saying my order was being shipped. Well I don't know about you but sending a generic email without any tracking information is poor. sending me an order that I cancelled. An order that they had cancelled, the same order that I had cancelled twice in writing. I checked my bank and the money had been removed.
I would not have cancelled the order but with the first strange email I didn't couldn't trust the company. That trust has been completely broken. The lack of response to my emails. The refusal to cancel. Not allowing me to cancel a order before it had even been made. Weeks before the delivery date I might add. I feel this is a complete infringement on my rights as a consumer. This company has decided that there terms and conditions trump these laws. They have not telephoned me, they have ignored my emails and they have trampled all over consumer law. They have stolen money out of my bank account. So be warned. If you change your mind or this company changes your mind for you. They ignore you right to cancel. I will be taking this further with formal complaints to trading standards.

After getting legal advice, speaking to the European Consumer Center and Trading Standards. I am happy to say I am well within my legal rights to cancel the order and rescind the contact. I cancelled the contract because after an email was sent to me I believed the company was untrustworthy. So I cancelled. I did this in writing eleven days before Blinds Direct ignoring my right to cancel shipped the items anyway. I refused the delivery.
Cut to size is not specific enough to be 'bespoke' within the current law. The blinds are not bespoke, they are standard blinds, standard colour and nothing is Bespoke about them. If I would have ordered the blinds in a certain unique fabric designed for me (say a photo or fabric made just for me) then they would be classed as Bespoke but this is not the case. I had every right to cancel the contract. Even more so because the goods had yet to be shipped.
The terms and conditions of Blinds Direct are misleading and vague. At point of sale at no point did the company ask me to agree to terms and conditions. I was not offered the standard tick box and at no point was it clear that once I bought from the company would not allow me to cancel. This is against EU law.
When I asked in writing to cancel. The company refused to cancel the 'bespoke' items but also refused to cancel non bespoke items Or neglected to give me that option, which is underhand. As a consumer I have the LEGAL right to cancel.
I am now taking this matter to court.
I have also been threatened that the goods will be re-sent out to me and I will charged for the delivery again. So basically they will remove the delivery cost from my card without permission.... this threatening behavior is shocking and was done in writing not once but twice! I have blocked them from having access to my card. I have reported this as fraudulent to my bank.
I am now taking this company to court for the following breach of law:
Directive: Customers right to cancel 2011/83/EU
Directive: Unfair business to consumer commercial practices 2005/29/EC
I will update when the court case has finished. Please please do not let this company bully you.

I received a faulty pull rail for my blinds. i sent a video showing the problem and was advised a replacement was being sent. Still not received and am sending a complaint.
My other blind is now faulty after 8 weeks but i dare not ask for a replacement as i will not receive it. I wish i would have paid extra elsewhere. I have never given a 1 stat rating to anyone before as i believe all companies make mistakes but i have given the opportunity to put right with no result.

Order roller blinds 12th Feb 2019 and still not delivered or any indication when they will be delivered. A guy called William replies to my emails once a week with the same standard reply. The website says 3 to 5 workings days delivery.

Be warned when buying shutters from this company. Any problems you might have with them, they're going to hide behind their stock phrase of 'you must have had them installed wrong' so that they don't have to take any responsibility. My shutters are a mess, shoddy, cheap and poorly fitting. And they have been installed correctly. The person who installed them says he has had much experience with them before and they're known in the trade as 'sh*tters direct'. He warned me that they would blame the fitting for their truly horrendous workmanship. I've well and truly been ripped off. Don't let it happen to you.

Placed an order "Estimated despatch 2-3 working days" - two weeks later still not dispatched and the queue to talk to someone on the phone doesn't go down. I have emailed them twice on the issue and left messages on Facebook, plus opened a dispute on Paypal, but still nothing.
Three weeks later and they promised to post the items yesterday - but they didn't. Took me chasing them down on Facebook to find out that "someone would be in touch shortly". No refund, either.

Purchased two blinds both arrived cut too narrow, company told me these were correct, definitely not, if you stand outside can see in if lights on. Broken fitting, slight fraying to edge on one.

Awful!
Awful!! Badly made roman blinds. Came made lopsided and with material all caught up in stitching. Sent back to be 're-made' for the same damaged blinds/material to be un-picked, restitched and sent back with the marks showing of where they were incorrectly made in the first place! No apology, offer of compensation or manager brave enough to deal with you... just an obnoxious email claiming they have remade the blinds so done what they needed to do and will not do anything else! Shocking customer service and products! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! I am now left with £200+ blinds that cannot be hung because of the damage! THe worst tin-pot company I have even had the misfortune to deal with. The matter will be reported to Trading Standards

I ordered 5 blinds - 4 of which were perfect and the one remaining had a minor issue which was resolved satisfactorily by efficient staff.
I was so happy I have now ordered 2 further blinds which should be delivered soon. Would recommend.
Problems after a month!
Unfortunately we are very disappointed with them! Only had them for about a month and the pulling mechanism already got jammed and blocked! When you pull the cords, it always feels stiff. I do not recommend them!

White Wooden Blind
Last minute thought of replacing a blind at a sensible cost. Came across these guys and was very pleased. Measured up based on the guide which was very clear. Item arrived within a day, quality was great for the environment and looked like double the cost. Very pleased more importantly it went down well with my daughter as it was her bedroom that had been decorated.
Disappointing service, rude staff, long waits
First let me say the custom curtains we received were well made and I was happy with the product.
The major let down was the poor customer service, rude in some instates, long lead time and even having to chase a promised refund.
The suggested 6-8 day lead time was not even close. We were lied to often about our order being dispatched. There was really poor communication on how to deal with a fabric that was out of stock. When I finally spoke to someone she was incredibly rude.
A refund was promised and I even had to chase that up.
