Lifetime does not mean Lifetime
After buying a limited access subscription and having found the content relevant, I ultimately decided to purchase their 'Lifetime Access' in May 2021 (the listed price of the lifetime access was $359).
In January 2024, I was 'invited' to purchase their 'Lifetime Memberships'. On review in my IOA account, I no longer have any access to courses, prior certifications and all courses are now behind a paywall. Options to obtain another 'lifetime' access is either $299 or wait for limited time sales.
I purchased 'lifetime' to mean lifetime. Renaming from access to membership should not impact my prior purchase.
This practice is entirely unethical.

The course purchase does not specify that the digital certificate is not included. After the completion of the course, we are asked again to purchase a certificate. What's the point then of buying a course and in the end we are asked to even buy even a digital certificate.
Not even a proof of course completion, after doing both a complete course and exams. What's the point?

Too many hidden fees, don't waste your money
I paid for the course but at the end of the course, I had to pay again to get my certificate so I paid and never received the certificate. This site is a scam! Do not waste your money! The course was much less than the article I read about the subject. Save you time and money. I use new skill academy now and they don't have any hidden fees!

If I could give one hundred stars, I would! I needed an official certificate of my TEFL for my visa. Well, things got complicated because of an error I made but the certificate company IOA uses, ICOES, dealt with me almost daily for a couple of weeks and were absolute gems. Judith, of the ICOES Certificates Department, was so timely and professional. I literally could not have stayed in this country without her! I will use them a million times over!

TONS of different certifications! So glad I found this site!
The curriculums are thorough, full of information, and easy to understand. There are much more certifications available than anywhere else I have searched and for a great price! I came here only to get my TEFL Certification and I'm staying and earning about 20 more certifications. Do you want to pay extra?
If you want to pass TEFL course and pay much more than you see on website - it`s for you.
First of all, they try to charge you every time membership or another product, really I can`t start my course many times, because I can`t skip advertisement, they always want you to add products to your card.
It`s my fault I know, but I didn`t get clearly in term&conditions, that they just give you a course (poor really, you can get more info on youtube for instance) and after you completed the course, you need to BUY a certificate from ICOES digital or hardcopy for 23+$, if you just want to certificate from IOA about your completion the course you also NEED TO PAY 18+$..so you pay for the course and for the certificate separately. In reviews I read than pdf certificate about completion is FREE, maybe they changed the conditions. It`s my fault but I make a review on my youtube and telegram channel to avoid other people from that. You also could find info in google about that company and ICOES.
So..it`s up to you pay or not, I really don`t know but maybe photoshop certificate have the same value)) Anyway nice business)

The website is always crashing
The website is always crashing, logs me out, freezes, won’t load, etc.
It definitely needs way more maintenance. I’ve wasted a lot of time sitting here waiting for it to reload and stop bugging out. Super frustrating.

The website has issues and will not…
The website has issues and will not allow me to log in and add anything to my cart. I even reached out to the support and I was told to reach back out to tutorjob, who still has not responded to me. I'm starting to wonder if this entire thing was a scam. Tutorjob gave me a code that I was supposed to be able to use to purchase the certificate of completion after completing the course (which I did), but every time I add the certificate to my cart, I'm then asked to log in, and when I log in it takes me immediately to an error page. I don't understand why it is so difficult to add something to my cart in my already-established account? It keeps taking me to an error page that says "you are not authorized to use multipass login." I took the entire course and exam and passed and now it will not allow me to get the certificate. I'm starting to think Tutorjob and the IOA website just wanted our info because why else is this so hard? It shouldn't be a problem for me to simply log in to my account, and then add something to my cart. But it is.
