Not worth - Hampered by Reliability and Service Issues
My dog, Llana, and I have been testing the Invoxia Tracker, and while it has some appealing features, its reliability and lack of responsive customer service are significant concerns.
Pros:
Easy setup: The device is comfortable for Llana and the app is user-friendly.
Informative content: The app provides helpful articles and resources.
Cons:
Unreliable GPS: The GPS tracking is not consistently accurate, which is a major concern for a pet tracker.
Live Tracking Issues: The advertised live tracking functionality doesn't seem to work properly.
Unresponsive Customer Service: Reaching customer support proved extremely difficult. They lack a phone number and my emails received slow, unhelpful responses. It took significant effort and time (4 months) to finally receive any assistance, leaving me frustrated and without timely solutions.
Health and Activity Tracking:
Health tracking: Offers a decent overview but would benefit from more frequent updates.
Activity tracking: While showing Llana's overall activity, estimates and information like "drinking" appear inaccurate and lack precise timing details.
Overall:
The Invoxia Tracker has the potential to be a valuable tool for dog owners, but its current limitations in GPS, live tracking functionality, and unresponsive customer service significantly hinder the experience. If these issues are addressed, it could be a more promising option. However, for now, I would strongly recommend exploring other trackers offering more reliable location updates, accessible customer support, and a commitment to user satisfaction.
Embarking on the journey of monitoring…
Embarking on the journey of monitoring my dog Fiona's health with the Invoxia Minitailz Tracker has been enlightening, I've found the device's functionality to be impeccable The GPS, health, and activity tracking capabilities are precise, providing a comprehensive overview of Fiona's well-being. The app's heart rate and breathing features are particularly beneficial, given Fiona's heart condition. Additionally, the app's content is informative and well-curated. It has become an essential tool in managing Fiona's health, offering peace of mind and invaluable insights.
Essential for walks
Essential for walks. Reliable GPS, health, and activity tracking for Mavis. App useful, needs more care tips. Easy setup despite size concerns.
Super 👍 merci beaucoup
No reaction on mails
Sent several emails. Been waiting for an answer for two months. Poor communication.
Worst support, and product is becoming much worse than originally
UPDATE: Just updating the review to say that they continue to un-amaze me at Invoxia's support (and also, the GPS tracker product has turned REALLY bad, coverage and pricing is not where it used to be). After waiting for a month with several back-and-forths where they really make an extra effort to not help or understand, I am now going to dispute the charge through my credit card company. I notified them within 14 days of purchase that I wished to cancel the purchase, and they have done everything they can to play stupid and pretend they don't know nor understand how and why and if I indeed want to cancel.
ORIGINAL:
The support is awful. Every time. At least they are consistent.
The SigFox tracker is good, but too expensive. The bike tracker is ugly, too bulky, not living up to my expectations at all. And way too expensive.
EDIT: Very unreliable SigFox connection lately and continuous battery issues. When creating a EU guarantee claim, they do not pay for the return (although law requires them to), and they require that I send it back in the original box and with all the accessories that came with it (although EU law explicitly forbids them to do that).
Do not consider Invoxia at all
Do not consider Invoxia at all! Over the years we have bought 5+ trackers expecting the expensive trackers being one time purchase. Now invoxia has added subscription to the products, and without subscription the devices are useless. No returning or refund for the devices is possible. (AI/non personal) support on homepage available. AI roboter directs you to help center topics which does not exist. I feel tricked an like a fool trusting Invoxia. A trustworthy company turned into a scam.
Excellent customer support from Invoxia on their Smart Dog Collar!
Invoxia has excellent customer support. My dog collar was one of the first ones shipped out.
As some improvements to the internal design were made to make the collar even more durable, I was contacted proactively to replace my collar.
I greatly recommend this smart dog collar, not only for the functionally but also for the level of support!
can not recommend Invoxia trackers
All in all i have own 6 of the the expensive trackers.
Very often issues occurs, and the customer has to fix them again and again.
I live in Denmark, and cannot recommend invoxia trackers
Prompt response
So I bought a smart coller with subscription
So I bought a smart coller with 2 years subscription or something and it was really expensive. Anyway it arrived and it was too big. Emailed customer support like 4 or 5 times heard nothing back. So I am left with a useless bit of hardware and an expensive subscription to some rubbish service I cant use. Also we had the smaller GPS units for our pets before and you have to recharge them every 3 sys. Absolute shambles and a waste of money
I like very much the product
I like very much the product, specially the battery duration that goes over a month.
The product is easy to use, the support team also reply very fast. I have used 3x
The only I may would say that can be improved:
1. The signal sometimes get lost in garage (I believe depend on the cover area, not sure)
2. could be an option to locate REAL-TIME instead wait the software send the location automatically. (for this point I would give 4 starts)
Please note: I highly recommend the product. I have 2 by the way and both works very good.
Best anti theft GPS solution on the market
Good battery life. The only minor issue is sometimes there is a significant delay in the notifications.
Product works well
Product works well, battery life is reasonably long even with high sampling rate.
Decent pet tracker
I think it's a good tool but they market it better than it is. I refer to my negative list below. The technical service was also not transparent nor kind, so I didn't appreciate that.
I never had experience with other Pet trackers so I cannot compare unfortunately.
Positives:
+Reliable on position
+Battery has to be charged rarely
+Reliable on movements
+History of all positions
Negatives
-The fitbit part of the deal is not working
-When I wanted to disconnect a device, only the assistance centre would do it
-One of my devices died after a rainy day, and the support team was not helpful at all
I lost my cat, Invoxia is awful
It's not bad, it's awful! 119euros to the garbage. My cat was sleeping inside the house and it said it was moving outside up to 1km. He lost his collar and I never found the tracker even after the Invoxia team sent me the last and supposedly exact location (which took a day and a few hours, when you´re in a worry and time is precious). So, there's no point to use it. They even refuse to replace it and I only had it for 2 months. I lost my cat for 48 days and will never trust Invoxia again. I will try one with mensal payment with a sim card, I believe it's more reliable.
When it works, it is good - but doesn't work reliably and absent support.
When it works, it is excellent. The downside is that it often fails.
Failures are regular dropping of calls; then rarely if ever finding the contact to call; the app just crashing.
I have a network that supports 10Mb/s data, so this data rate should be simple.
I have raised these issues many times, and get an automated response saying that they will respond soon - and months later - nothing.
I have even written to the CEO....
I think it is nearly usable as a device - just not yet.
Crappy HW, even worse support and security
Friend of mine has like 4th pet tracker - none of them worked for more than a few days.
I had their tracker on my bike for a while - until it was unpaired somehow from my account and now I have to prove their support that I'm the rightful owner by taking a picture of the box, which I obviously don't have because I'm not a box collector.
This company is ridiculous.
LongFi GPS tracker is amazing for bicycle
I bought the LongFi GPS tracker to use for my bicycle (slipped in pannier bag). I ride daily and three months in and it's still on its first charge!
Accuracy and update rate are fine for what I need. I 'simulated' it being stolen and tilt detection pops up on phone in approx. 10 seconds, so I could probably beat thief to the bike before they get away!
Only complaint is the price, I think it needs to get below $50 for what it is.
