A Wonderful Experience
Having visited the lovely Isle of Barra in July, my deepest regret was not to visit the distillery. However, having tried the wonderful Island Dark Rum in a local hostelry i bought a bottle online. It is wonderful. I can't wait for the Whisky !!

The best gin I have ever tasted.
I visited Barra distillery a couple of months ago and was made most welcome. Not everyone is able to do this, I know, but everyone IS able to buy their gin - and should! It is absolutely the best gin I have ever tasted .... you don't even need a mixer with it.
Inspired by that, I thought I would try a bottle of their Island Dark Rum. Oh boy. That was one of my better decisions. It's beautiful. Thoroughly recommend.

Like Christmas when the parcel from Barra arrives.
Prompt and good value, this is my favourite gin, and favourite to give in a gift.
I am now longing to visit the island…I think it’s been 58 years since I enjoyed its charms. The Gin brings back many memories in the meantime.( I didn’t try any gin 58 years ago!)

By far my favourite gin
By far my favourite gin and I am often reluctant to share it with people who do not appreciate the finer things in life.
My recent order went missing for a while. Debbie Macmillan at Barra Gin went above and beyond and contacted the Post Office. My undelivered gin was found lurking in the depths of the sorting office.
I had a great conversation with the post man at the sorting office, and hopefully I may have converted him to Barra Gin
