I recently spent some time in Naples with a friend and we decided to take Italian lessons during our stay. We had a great time - the lessons were fun, well paced and adapted to our level. Vivian and Dario did everything to tailor the course to our needs so it felt like we learnt a lot in a short time. Our group was small so there was plenty of time to try out our emerging language skills. I didn't want to stop and I now want to go back!

I did a one-week course, starting out with pretty much no Italian. The course was very intense and fast paced with all speaking in Italian from the start, including between the students at break times etc. I do speak Spanish which helped me to keep up with the pace and by the end of the week our small group of 3 students were able to have a conversation in Italian. We were able to order in restaurants, understand directions and buy tickets.
The teachers: Dario and Vivian were both so lovely and Dario’s lessons also covered lots of aspects of Italian culture which were really interesting. We felt part of a little family for our week in Naples and were so happy we’d picked Italianopoly. If I had been able to, I would have liked to have done another week to really get to grips with the language, but I’m really pleased with the amount I learned in a week.

Dario and Vivian were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Dario tailored each lesson to my needs, making the class both engaging and enjoyable. I will definitely be returning!

My use of Italian improved greatly during my 2 weeks with the 2 Italianapoli language facilitators Dario and Vivian. Especially helpful was the conversational work which was coupled with cultural knowledge and use of games to open up response capability. Dario and Vivian have a good understanding of the craft of education and apply it with humour and joy. Such a pleasure to have attended the school, grazie mille a voi !!

I took conversational lessons from Dario. What made it a fantastic experience is that he is a highly knowledgeable person with tons of experience of teaching and last but not least a super friendly, funny and flexible person!

I could not recommend Italianopoli more highly. Dario and Vivian are dedicated teachers whose skill and care are evident in every lesson and every interaction with students. If you want to learn and enjoy yourself, study here.
I have studied Italian, but not for many years, and I researched Italian language schools throughout Italy. I chose Italianopoli partly because of the small class size - read what their website says to understand the school better.
A friend and I came for two weeks. For the first week, we were with two other students, and for the second week, it was just the two of us in a class, for the school's philosophy is to place students of similar skill levels together, and our former classmates had left and new students had arrived. All lessons were well-planned and included conversation and a manageable amount of grammar, with games that reinforced learning about language and culture.
Our Thursday afternoon trip to the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli was wonderful because Dario and Vivian's knowledge and enthusiasm for history and culture were highlighted as they showed us this amazing place. In addition, they had suggestions of places to visit in Naples that were not limited to the most crowded tourist sites
Dario and Vivian could run a much larger school with more teachers and students, but they don't want to sacrifice the quality they value. If you value individual and thoughtful teaching as you learn Italian, study at Italianopoli.

This was the best!! I’ve had a 2 week Italian course at the university of Siena. Next to that I followed a 8 week course of 2.5 hours per week. But nothing came close to the amazing lessons of Vivian and Dario. In other classes the learning pace is adjusted to the slowest in the group. Vivian and Dario are able to divide their attention in the right way so that everyone in the class makes as much progression as possible.

I spent two weeks in Italianapoli. My Italian really improved especially my oral Italian. Dario was very funny and had a great sense of humour. Vivian's lesson's were also interesting. They both gave me excellent advice as to the best tourist places to visit in Naples. The school is small but more personal that way. I wish I could have stayed longer. I will definately return.

An excellent school in a fascinating city. I spent two weeks at Italianopoli and the time flew. Engaging lessons from Dario, no labouring through dry grammar (although grammar was covered) but practical and enjoyable lessons. Dario is a gifted teacher. I’m looking forward to returning in 2024!

Thanks to the Italianopoli, I spent wonderful one week in Napoli in October. The school, our teachers Vivian and Dario are absolutely amazing. Their individual approach to the teaching and to the students is visible during every single lesson. Thank you for the introduction how to live in Napoli 😀, incredibile trip aroud the city center and our time together full of italian language, the art, history but also joy and laughing. I am sure I will be back in the nearest future! Ci vediamo subito!

The principal instructor, Dario, was excellent. Highly competent in Italian language and culture, and very dynamic.

Not so good was the way the school placed the students in the various classes (advanced, medium, etc.). They used ONLY a written exam - no oral, not even a few minutes of speaking dialogue. Result, as expect, some students were a high level, others, very poor language skills and pronunciation. The big diversity made concentration during the class difficult and sometimes annoying

I had the opportunity to take 3 weeks course at Italianopoli, and improve my italian from very basic sentences, to being able to express myself more nuanced. I would warmly recommend this school to anyone, because the teachers are super attentive and make learning Italian a good and fun experience.

Brilliant language school run by two of the nicest people you're ever likely to meet. After one week here, my knowledge and my confidence in Italian were so much higher thanks to Vivian and Dario.

I cannot recommend this school highly enough! I recently spent a week doing a mixed immersion course with group classes in the morning and individual lessons in the afternoon.

Vivian and Dario are wonderful teachers and made the experience very enjoyable and entertaining. It was a pleasure coming to class every day and I feel that I made big steps forward in my Italian over the week.

The most fun I’ve ever had learning a language, and I hope to come back again soon!

I had a fantastic experience visiting this school. I was in Dario and Vivians, the two teachers, custody for all in all 6 weeks.
The first two weeks of my stay there weren't enough students on my level to start a team, so I got two hours of private teaching every day. It was good but demanding and you have to really follow along and that didn't change when I became a part of group sessions. I had those for the last four weeks of my stay at the school.
You will get to meet two fantastic and enthusiastic teachers that really love teaching you Italian. They make it both fun and engaging. Furthermore I also got to meet some other students, whom I still keep in contact with.
After only six weeks of pretty intense studying, I'm now able to have a conversation with neapolitans (and italians of course), despite my accent.
I only have nice things to say about the place.

Jeg havde en fantastisk god oplevelse med den her skole. Jeg var i Dario og Vivians, de to lærere, varetægt i 6 uger.
I de to første uger af mit ophold var der ikke nok til at have et hold, så jeg havde 2 timers alene undervisning hver dag. Det var godt men hårdt man skal holde tungen lige i munden og det ændrer sig heller ikke når man kommer ind i de 4 timers holdundervisning, som jeg havde de sidste 4 uger af min tid på skolen.
Man møder 2 helt fantastiske og engagerede lærere der brænder for at lære dig italiensk. De gør det både sjovt og hyggeligt. Derudover mødte jeg også nogle andre elever på skolen, som jeg stadig holder kontakt med i dag.
Efter blot 6 uger er jeg i stand til at føre forståelige samtaler med neapolitanere (og italienere selvfølgelig), på trods af min accent. Stor ros til den her skole.

Italiaopoli is a wonderful little language school in the historic centre of Naples. The staff have boundless energy, enthusiasm and skills in teaching Italian to foreigners of all ages and backgrounds. They adapt didactic material and approach to maximise making the ‘student/clients’ feel relaxed and confident in their learning.

I recently completed three weeks with them having four hours a day of tuition, it was a productive and fun time. And suited me as a semi retired professional with an interest in all things Italian perfectly.

Highly recommended!! As is Naples !!

Perfect organization and course of my one-week language training at Italianopoli in Naples; great familiar and cordially authentic atmosphere with the teachers Dario and Vivian; very good selection of learning contents and their methodical implementation; thanks to the expert and entertaining lessons, I was able to significantly improve my listening comprehension and communication skills in Italian and learned a lot of new things about Italian culture.

I spent a wonderful two weeks learning Italian at Italianopoli. Vivian and Dario are great teachers and they making learning fun. I also enjoyed the afternoon excursion they organised and I met some lovely people on the course and in the school. I would definitely recommend the school and I would love to return some time.

My Italian course at "Italianopoli" was absolutely great! I took individual lessons as well as group lessons. Dario and Vivian are extremely competent teachers who know very well how to engage their students and get them talking. They tailor each lesson according to their students' level and manage to challenge and encourage everyone individually. They teach with a lot of humour and wit, the lessons fly by and you'll find yourself longing for more. I don's think I've ever laughed and learned so much at the same time. They create a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and let you in on the Italian way of life. I can very much recommend "Italianopoli language school" to anyone who wants to learn Italian or improve their existing knowledge. I am already planning to going back again myself :). Italianopoli offers very nice language courses, so I really appreciated my time there. The teachers are very friendly and helpful and made my first italian lesson to a great experience. Highly recommended! Thank you :)
