Italianopoli Reviews 

I spent 2 weeks at Italianopoli. The first day I wanted to drop back to the beginner course as was having difficulty listening to and understanding. Dario challenged me and by the end I was understanding most of what was discussed in class and really felt like I’d achieved something from the class. This was important for me , but also appreciated the review and a different approach to grammar.

We recently had the very good fortune to have spent three wonderful weeks in Napoli and thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks of classes at Italianopoli scuola di italiano. Our teachers were patient and caring and made certain that we understood what was being taught and why! We would highly recommend the fabulous city of Napoli and would also highly recommend Italianopoli if your interest lies in learning the Italian language or improving your Italian language skills. I was enrolled in the intensive class at Italianopoli for six weeks and found every lesson massively beneficial. Each teacher does a great job of keeping the lessons enjoyable, challenging and varied. With small group sizes they manage to cater for everyone during lessons. I was particularly impressed with they way the managed to simultaneously push students that had a strong grasp in a particular area and help others that didn't quite have the hang of it, all within the same class. I'm extremely happy with the progress I made and it just a matter of time before I return. Bonus...They're all genuinely warm and funny people too.

I just returned to the states after a week in Naples studying at Italianopoli. It was wonderful! Vivian and Dario are fun and fantastic, patient and caring, and so excited to help their students learn Italian. I wish I could have stayed longer! Their teaching methods helped me take my base knowledge and boost it - especially in regards to speaking Italian, which has so far been the toughest part for me. Learning a language in this kind of environment - one of support and challenge made for a perfect combination!

I just finished a 4 week intensive course at this school. I had been learning Italian on my own, for the past couple of years, using apps and Youtube. Though I had a decent grasp of the basic grammar and vocabulary, what I missed was an environment where I could talk in Italian. Italianopoli fit the bill perfectly and I had a fantastic time over the past few weeks, improving my spoken Italian as well as reinforcing the grammar and learnt a lot of new words. The teachers Dario and Vivian are an extremely enthusiastic couple and had a strict policy, that we could communicate only in Italian, however broken it might be. The class size is small (4-6 people) , so there is a lot of individual attention given. The school also had a weekly outing where the teachers and students would go to a local cultural site, like a museum etc. and we would then have a meal together. The course content was also customized to the needs of the group. the school is also located in a very central place, close to a lot of restaurants, and other sightseeing spots of Napoli, Overall, I would give a big thumbs up to Italianopoli and hope to come back for more sessions in the future. I took a two weeks Italian course in Italianopoli in the second half of March this year.
I chose this school by random. At the moment I read about it on their website it seemed to me that this would be the right one and it turned out, that it was true.
I went to couple of other schools to learn other languages but, I have never felt so good and excited about each new day of lessons as I have now. Usually I lost an interest after two or three days, because the lessons were boring, but not this time! If you ask me, Dario is the best teacher I ever had. Very professional, he knows exactly where one is week, what are the strenghts...On the other hand he is very entertaining, funny, never boring. Lessons were interesting every single day and I think I learned a lot.
In general is this school very likable. It is a smal school and you feel like at home there. There is all the time very familiar atosphere and both owners, Vivian and Dario are simply great.

I attended the Italian language course for beginners at Italianopoli for three weeks. The teachers are really good and I made fast progress. The classes are very enjoyable. Vivian who is running the school is always extremely customer-oriented and helpful. I can highly recommend this excellent language school in the old town of Naples.

I've completed a 6-week intensive course from a complete beginner, and I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn and improve Italian in a friendly environment. Vivian and Dario taught me everything I need to know to start communicating in Italian, and it was really fun to talk with them during and also after lessons!! I’ll definitely be back here again to continue my journey of learning Italian!

Great experience with Dario and Vivian. The on line classes were good and efficient and Dario seemed to find out very quickly what I knew and could do in Italian.
Both Dario and Vivian were nice and Dario is also funny.
I am going to Napoli and I will sign up in live classes there :)

We are a retired couple from Switzerland and have chosen Italianopoli through internet to take three weeks of individual italian lessons. We returned home with a lot of new experiences, and improved Italian. With Dario and Vivian, the owners of the school, we have also made two new friends.
Dario is a very committed teacher and invests a lot of energy into his lessons.
As we had individual lessons with Dario and partly also with Vivian we can not comment about the other teachers at Italianopoli. We can recommend the school anytime to everybody who like it small and individual.

I was learning Italian at Italianopoli for 4 weeks in September/October this year and would definitely recommend this language school to anyone, no matter if they are just about to start their adventure with Italian or have already been learning for some time!
I have been learning Italian for 1.5 years before. The teachers were very professional and friendly, prepared lessons that were very interesting and practical. My Italian has massively improved during my stay here!
The also had a handful of great tips on what to see, where to eat and what to visit in Napoli - a truly local experience!
The school also organizes events which all students can join, regardless of their level of Italian (e.g. a museum visit or wine tasting).
Dario and Vivi Who run this place also make this place absolutely unforgettable - they made everyone feel welcome and at home! (miss you both!) And they are so helpful with everything! Can’t wait to be back!

Great expeience! Good teacher (Dario) and very inspiering class. Very friendly environment - Vivian was very helpful and friendly. She helped with accomondation and answered all questions prior to my arrival at the school. I highly reccomend this school to evetybody that would like to learn italian.

This is the go to place for learning Italian in Naples. I applied on short notice and Vivian was very accommodating in every aspect. I learned so much from Dario in the short week I was there in both the private and group classes. It’s a great mix of material and conversation with some fun role playing in the middle. I felt comfortable from the moment I entered the centre with the welcome from Vivian. They were also great at making all students comfortable with each other. We have just completed a two week course at Italianopoli and would definitely recommend it. The classes are small (in our case just myself and my husband) and are tailored to meet individual needs and abilities. There is a realistic expectation of what can be achieved in two weeks and advice given on how to continue learning. Our teacher (Dario) is very patient and uses a number of different teaching techniques to aid learning. The lessons were informative and entertaining and the time went very quickly. We have tried various different learning techniques previously including apps, books, audio but nothing compares to having face to face lessons, teaching in a structured way and speaking Italian within a very friendly and safe supportive environment. It was also good to meet students on different courses in planned social activities which included a wine tasting evening and a visit to one of the many historic buildings in Naples.
The organisation of the course and the day to day running was very friendly and efficient.
Overall we would just like to thank Dario and Vivian for helping us on our journey to become fluent Italian speakers.

Without a doubt, the best language class in Napoli! Dario and Vivi are both amazing people and teach with so much passion that you simply enjoy going there. I learned a lot, not only about the language, but also about Culture, music, history and the italian way of living. I definitely recommend it to everyone who stays in Napoli! Grazie Mille!!
