Avoid it al all costs

Exactly what everyone else is saying. If you have a choice to choose any other courier company, do it. Itella aka Posti Group doesnt care about you our your packages. All the packages always are delivered all busted up, packages broken, items banged. Last time they delivered the package to opposite side of city and I chose exactly which pickup point to use. Then you have sit on hold for 10 minutes to ask them to deliver to correct location. Shame on you Amazon.de for you using this disgraceful courier.

This is the most disgusting delivery company in Latvia! I still don't understand why companies like DHL hand over packages to them for delivery to the Baltic countries. My package from Germany to Latvia took four days. It's already been sitting in their warehouse for three days. According to the tracking number, they were delivering it to me on the 8th, but they didn't send any notification. Naturally, they didn't deliver it and took it back to the warehouse on the 9th, and they changed the delivery method to a parcel machine themselves, and it's been two days since they've sent it to me. This isn't the first time they've done this. I think they should be banned from operating in the Latvian market.

Very poor delivery service!

The delivery service is very, very poor! I asked all the customer services about my shipment, but no one knows anything! I don't know when I will receive my shipment or if I will receive it at all!

worst delivery service in Latvia by far

worst delivery service in Latvia by far.
poor work ethic, poor organization, poor everything
i don't know how much money they pay their employees, but apparently it's not enough to hire responsible, diligent people.
lies in tracking info, clown excuses from couriers on why delivery is rescheduled or why they can't deliver the package to your apartment and you have to go outside and carry it up yourself. I even once had wrong package delivered to me and had to go back down again to exchange it for the right one.
there are other delivery companies and food delivery services here, and I never had such issues with those.
and why is this circus company the default shipping method for amazon? i would gladly pay extra not to deal with these people.

Worst delivery company ever

Worst delivery company ever. It's never been a single time that they just delivered a package. You always have to find it yourself and contact them. I am so upset with those idiots.

They Need Weeks for a Simple small…

They Need Weeks for a Simple small package. 4 days just for sorting. What a Joke company. What are you sorting 4 days? Or they Work with Apes. And maybe they do the package from left to the right and Back. You Need longer for a Delivery aß a man 300 years Ago. I am faster with a horse.

Slow and expensive customs

I got all of my packages so far, but I do have something to say. First of all, the customs are extremely expensive (I can't buy myself anything nice from outside of eu!!) And the shipping times are a bit slow. Also, some of my packages end up 7 kilometers away, even though there is a perfectly fine spot right next to where I live. (I can't afford a car to go pick up my big packages).

very unreliable, lies in tracking info

You set your home address as delivery address. They send an SMS saying “the package is on its way to your country, if you want to send it to a smartpost terminal, follow the link and select a terminal.” I don't select anything, as my home address is already indicated - and they instead send the parcel to some random terminal 40-50 minutes away from my location. (and there is a terminal in 5 minute walking distance from my house)

They may also postpone the delivery to another day and, in order to avoid responsibility, indicate false tracking info like “there was an attempt to deliver, but it was not possible to contact the recipient” although you were at home all day.

Couriers also often ask to go downstairs to pick up the package. They are too lazy to walk up to your apartment.

If there was an opportunity, I would ask everything from Amazon to be sent by UPS or something, to not deal with these local clowns.

The worst delivery company in Latvia

The worst delivery company in Latvia. A few times I had no choice but to go through them but every single time the delivery was missed "by me". They never tried to contact me even though I filled out and submitted their contact and delivery forms before actual delivery. Avoid for unnecessary headaches.

Not refunding unused servises

I requested a full or partial refund for the unused service. I would have been happy with any option, at least a discount code for another shipment. The customer service reply was that there were no options to solve it. That's policy mentioned on their website. Yes, I agree with the rules, but I would not recommend anyone to use the services of this company, if there is a situation that needs to be resolved, when a shipment is cancelled or whatever, nobody will have a willing to help you out. Old-fashioned business model.

Inaccurate response
I have a delivery coming from Latvia. when I called the Latvian branch, they sent me to the Lithuanian branch as it left the country. When I called the Lithuanian branch, they sent me to the Latvian branch as it did not reach the country! all this while keeping in mind the countries share the borders and the parcel left 3 days ago! if by walking it could have reached without issues!

No delivery without phone number

Package was a Christmas surprise. They just did not deliver it, tracking info didn't say why. After contacting them they said they needed a phone number (which I did not have and needed to ask, so no surprise anymore). Then they did not even try to deliver and just put it in the next post office. The 1 star is for the quick support answer via facebook messenger.

The worst shipping company

The worst shipping company. They never answer by phone!!! However they wrote me an email saying that I needed to give my phone number to their courier by phone, otherwise they can't deliver my parcel. So how should I do it if they don't answer? And when you write an email, they tell you that they will answer in 3 days! What if I need it urgently? And how do I get my parcel now? Their phone robot is telling that they can call me back if I press 1, but when I do it, they say that calling back is not available.

Would not cooperate with Itella🤯

Couriers often leave packages in the parcel machine, the courier of Itella threw my parcel whith Dior sunglasses for 300 euros into the parcel machine! Although I paid +17£ for delivery from fashioneyewear.com in a 1 day. And once my mom bought Phillip Plein shoes and Itella courier put the package in a parcel machine🤦‍♀️😳
It is very stressful when you pay for luxury cosmetics and designer luxury things but the delivery service is so bad.
Why do they put parcels in the parcel machine if I paid for home delivery?!😡 and I have to go through the whole city to the parcel machine. JJD149990200014977504, CJ140098924DE.
If they correct this situation and supply competent workers, there would be a better estimate.
This low rating for leaving parcels in the parcel machines, when I pay for home delivery, and personally to the operator Svetlana, with whom I spoke many times and repeated the same thing to her many times, but she does not understand what she is asked about, she only spends time, answers with displeasure and not on the question.
CJ143305387DE. What kind of operator Cynthia works, who immediately dictates her own rules, while others try to solve the problem. Disgusting service! Why should the client call and ask for the parcel to be delivered to the address?! If I needed a terminal, I would not pay for home delivery!

What is going on, why is the package CJ146333271DE not being delivered? it has been in Latvia since July 22, so disgusting irresponsible attitude towards customers. at the beginning of the month they lost my mother's parcel CJ145851354DE. now there are problems again.
How I tired of Itella already! if there was a choice, I would not cooperate with this company! Never! 🤯😤😭

The package was just delivered on 26th of July, in the late evening. package was in bad condition, and with a whole, the whole was also in inner back too. And my mother’s parcel CJ146002822DE with Glass! and priority rad label was generally crushed and pushed into the parcel machine! Terrible situation.

Worst delivery company in Latvia

Worst delivery company in Latvia, Latvian Post works better as Itella. Order package from Germany, to Latvia via DHL. DHL give package to Itella. Ok, monitoring tracking! Today package must be delivered! No ones call, no ones come to gate (my working space is at the window, I see gate all the time). In 16.57 tracking shows "The recipient was not present. A new delivery attempt will take place." Just amaizing company....

they lie the same to everyone

Ordered a coffee machine from Betron AG. They sent packages with dhl, but in Latvia it is delivered with itella. I saw that the package was in LV for 3 days, I was patiently waiting for delivery, but now 3 days have passed and there is no progress, I contacted the customer center that I will pick up my parcel myself, they promised to call back, but didn't. Then promised to do it again and again didn't return. Then I found in the reviews that they promise the same to everyone. If a company doesn't cope with their work, then at least they can't lie, then people can figure out other ways to act.
