Prostitution all by herself

The little light skin girl asking people for money to buy things and play numbers. Very unprofessional. And the way she acts, you would have thought she was selling ass in there. I will not be coming back to this piece of wreck

Servicing my Stag

Servicing my Stag; On the positive I replaced a Rimmer Bros supplied front soft top seal which was wrong and noisy with a Paddock supplied which was correct..
On the Negative I bought a service kit; and my Oh dear, The air filter
; This is one of the more expensive parts in the Kit... a pattern part which doesn’t fit ( poor quality ) … and doesn’t have a rubber seal so you have to change off the old one.. It won’t fit in the air box!!
I was given the shrug shoulder treatment over the phone..so the inadequate part is going in the bin where it belongs!
The laugh is I can buy a quality Mann Filter . Like the part I am replacing, with a new one that fits and is complete and quality for the same price on Amazon .. Part Number:-
C 4373/1
Buying parts is a minefield in short but I suggest suppliers take an interest and sell cheap patterns to the fools and price in for the proper parts.. Everyone is happy then!
Also I have discovered that a rotor arm in the service kit is a replacement for a quality ( very rare and obsolete) Lucas rotor arm.. £30 old stock on Ebay..I would have obviously been tempted to throw this away.. A Mistake!!! I think it is in error putting this in a “service kit” that is just people wanting to change the oil basically.. But on the positive the spark plugs in the kit seem fine!

Sent the wrong part

Sent the wrong part
Sent the wrong part again
After a frustrating conversation I asked 5 times to end the conversation and for them to just take payment but they were determined to have the last word then hung up on me because I wouldn't entertain the conversation any longer.

James Paddock ignore New Zealand law

James Paddock have shipped parts to New Zealand. Now a part has broken before it's expected lifetime, and is not fair wear and tear. Under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act I have the right to a replacement or refund, but James Paddock don't accept this. In addition to denying my consumer rights they are also misleading me about those rights and therefore also breaching the NZ Fair Trading Act

Worst parts this year

Herald brake shoes were wrong thickness. Ordered and paid for second set, also wrong. Third set from my normal parts supplier fitted perfectly. One wheel cylinder had to be filed to fit the backing plate, the return springs were too short and the retaining cups and springs too long and shoddy fit. A week after the return arrived still waiting for refunds. Pre covid quality and service was fine. What's happened?edit...refund finally arrived.

Triumph owners.

After owning a triumph vitesse for 28 years, I thought I must get on with getting it back on the road. I've now used James paddock several times, and have been extremely pleased with the quality of thier parts, the service the prices and the speed of their delivery. I would recommend this great company to anyone owning an old triumph. Keep it up James paddock and all your team.

Sub-standard Stag alternator

I ordered an alternator conversion for my Stag but when I came to fit it it turned out to be non-standard (no thread for the adjustment screw) so I couldn't fit it without a bodge. The guy I spoke to at James Paddock didn't know what he was talking about and although he argued the toss he agreed I could return it (at my expense). It then took a week to give me a refund (but they didn't bother to tell me they had done it) and I expect they will have docked a restocking fee (haven't seen my statement yet). Overall a costly and unpleasant experience so I won't be back.

Reliable Company

I have used this company over many years during the restoration of my Triumph Stag and have always found them to be helpful and the parts competitively priced.

I will continue to use them as one of my preferred suppliers

Very Poor Customer Service

Very Poor Customer Service
After spending many thousands with paddocks over the last 25 years keeping my Triumphs on the road, I will be looking for a new supplier.
I phoned several times regarding a rear 1500 leaf spring on a spitfire that has failed to settle only to be told they have never come across this problem before. Yes they can take a couple of hundred miles to settle down, but after 18 months of driving, the car is still unstable round corners. They haven't come across this before possibly due to fitting.
Why are they so unhelpful???
