I recently purchased a used Mercedes SL from JCT600, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish.
Elliot, the Sales Manager, was first-class throughout—professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and a credit to the Mercedes-AMG brand. The whole purchasing process was exactly what you would expect from a premium dealership.
A few months later, I encountered an issue involving a separate Mercedes dealership in Norwich. Once again, JCT600 went above and beyond. Matt, the Service Manager, took the time to personally contact the dealership in an effort to resolve the matter. When that proved unsuccessful, JCT600 demonstrated outstanding customer care by funding the repair themselves.
For those who say dealerships are only interested in making a sale, JCT600 is the exception to the rule. Their commitment to customer satisfaction didn't end when I drove away—it continued long after the purchase. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and would gladly do business with them again in the future.
Thank you to Elliot, Matt, and the entire team for providing such outstanding service.

I visited JCT's VW showroom in April on a weekend, hoping to test drive a T-Roc. I was told to come back on a week day as the managers don't allow test drives on weekends (bizarre in my view).
A few weeks later, I showed up on a Thursday afternoon Lots of staff were sat at their desks, and no one stood up to approach me. I went to the reception and asked if it would be possible to test drive a T-Roc. The receptionist said that I would typically need a booking, but was very helpful and asked around the staff.
No one was interested and they all told her no. She then went into an office and the showroom manager came out, and went to one of the guys (Alex) and spoke with him. Next thing you know, Alex now has availability to help me.
We go on a test drive and I share that I have another car to view the following day, but he suggests I put the £250 reservation fee down any way as it is refundable.
I ultimately find a more suitable car elsewhere and ask for the refund. This proves VERY DIFFICULT.
When I called to ask, a showroom manager told me to email Alex with my account number and sort code, so I did. This was WRONG.
When Alex was back in office on the Wednesday, he calls and says that this was incorrect and to get my £250 back, I need to give him my long card number, expiry date and security code. This means giving ALL my bank details to JCT. I told him I did not feel comfortable and he said the only other option was to come in person. I was not able to have the refund to a different card. This would be a 1 hour plus round trip, to get MY money back.
Alex was rude and arrogant, and his energy towards me changed significantly after I chose to pull out of the sale.
They then accidentally somehow paid me the £250 back twice. Alex called me at 5.30pm on Friday night. I was away in Chester for my birthday weekend with friends and had just arrived when he called. He wanted me to pay the £250 back there and then.
Ironic how he was so responsive and attentive when he wanted their money back, but was slow, rude and unhelpful when I wanted my money back, and was asked to give ALL my bank info over to them, due to the showroom manager giving the INCORRECT instructions.
Giving 2 stars, as Carl and Phil were polite and friendly (despite Phil telling me to email the wrong bank details).

BUY ELSEWHERE. Absolutely terrible at every step of the way. Customer service is poor, poor, poor.....
I ordered a genuine, rigid, 3D shaped boot mat for my new Cupra via the Shop app. It's a £100 mat. Not the cheapest type.
They thought it would be totally fine to roll it up to save on the postage cost. It got completely distorted by the time it got to me. The damage was permanent.
When I got in touch I was advised it is normal process at JCT600 to roll these up for shipping. One start wondering what else they compress, fold, roll up to make it fit into a small package regardless of it damages it or not. Absolute joke. Why do they think it's okay?
They offered to give full refund if I return the item but theu refused to provide a shipping label and wanted me to pay for the return postage out of pocket.
It was clearly their fault so I refused to go this way.
After a couple of back and forth I was advised they will send a refund. I received the refund confirmation but no refund. It was about 2 weeks ago. Still nothing. I emailed the sales team yesterday. No reply.
I contacted their complaint department
2 weeks ago when I had issue discussing liability for return shipping. I hear led nothing back from them. I emailed them this morning. I have little hopes they will reply. Absolutely shocking service. Just stay away from them.

So I will start off by saying I wish I had gone to a main dealer from the start for a used car as the car I got matched exactly as described to the letter.
What I was looking for was a Vauxhall insignia mk2, as I have been a VX owner for many years. Now I had looked and took receipt of 2 other insignias that were from non-main dealers that had to go back due to undeclared faults.
I then came across one at this JCT600 site in Leeds, it was a fair bit more but with lower milage so I took the leap and reserved it thinking this will be a trusted vehicle from a main dealer that realises brand integrity with it being a recognised brand.
A call was placed with JCT600 in Leeds and I was assigned a chap called David Blackburn, David was very helpful in answering over the phone all questions about the car I had and even openly discussed the body defects on the car which we will get onto shortly.
A date was agreed to go see the car and collect on the same day by finalising the deal, finance was all setup over the web and not one issue or loophole to have to jump through out of the norm.
During this time, I received a high quality video of the car as a wark around which showed every angle of the car and a bit of the interior, The day I was due to pick it up I received a second video of it being valeted and must sat it was spotless, (I will need to find out what it was cleaned with to get the new leather smell as it is so spot on).
I arrive at 1pm and am warmly greeted by David who did take a real interest in the car and me which I found quite refreshing, we went out to the car and had a inspection, I was showed the marks on the car where the paint had slight scratches and if honest these were nothing but good to see a dealer pointing out any flaw in the car right from the get go. Let’s just say I was not leaving the place without the car.
Yes, I did pay more than I would have originally wanted to but with the lower milage and the assurance of it coming from a true main dealer it was well worth the difference.... knowing there would not be an issue if a problem arose.
Iv now had the car 14 days and it has not had one issue at all, this is a perfect example of how a car should be sold and advertised, the dealer took very good care of correcting any issues it would have had before sale (and believe me it had a fair bit of money put in it replacing serviceable components along with a service & full MOT). . .
I must however say a huge thanks to David Blackburn for the reliable communication & videos as we did have a few addition follow-up calls before I collected plus the honest overview of the car and its faults that I will never consider as faults “true and honest minor age related marks”.
The site was well presented and clean, David and the team were all happy and well responsive and happy to talk about cars and their detail, even got offered a coffee (Thanks).
As started with I wish I had gone here first rather than spending 2 months fighting over 2 other cars from not so reputable dealer sources. Would have saved me a lot of time and effort and sanity.
Again thank you David and the team, I am one very happy and proud owner of a brilliant well maintained car that I love.
Seriously if it is a reliable warranted car you are looking for check out the stock, you won’t be disappointed and can rest assured you are in good hands and covered in the event of an issue.

Purchased a car from them earlier this month. Friendly service from everyone there. From Graham who sold the car to Joe.
Had a couple of issues after purchase, but these were quickly sorted out and I am now very happy with the car. Will look at these again when I need a new car.

I booked a service online, at least thats waht I thought i had done. I arrived, handed my keys over and said my car was booked for a service. I had also added a couple of faults that I wanted investigating and a couple of new tyres to the booking. After 4 hours of sitting in a slightly grubby waiting space i received a text saying how much the repairs would cost, with an option to accept or decline. Once the tyres had been done i left, only to discover on my way home that the service light was still saying i was due a service. I also noticed that all four tyres including the three new ones were all showing wildly different pressure levels. When i sent an email saying i was unhappy i was told they didn't do a service they just did the tyres and checked the faults i had highlighted. After numerous emails to the service department saying i had an email confirmation of my having booked a service I was told that while my confirmation of booking had said 'service appointment booking' this was not a 'service booking appointment' so i would need to rebook. I was told "I can completely understand how this can be interpreted otherwise". JCT refused to accept responsibility for wasting my time so i took my car to Synter Sunderland for a service.

I arrived at jct600 seat in menston to drop off a courtesy car for a customer and was greeted by Louise on reception who guided me to the customer and helped out with our hand over. It really does make our job so much better when someone as nice as Louise is there to help out with the process and she then went on to offer us refreshments after, a real credit to your dealership, thanks once again Louise.

Very disappointing experience with JCT600 Audi Bradford. I booked my car in for a service in April and specifically requested a DPF and general health check on certain components. The technician agreed to send a health check video, but despite chasing this multiple times and being promised it would be sent “shortly”, nothing was ever received.
I was advised to replace tyres, brake discs and pads and requested a quotation for genuine Audi parts, but no quote was ever provided. I eventually had the work completed elsewhere. To make matters worse, during my recent MOT another issue was identified — something I had specifically asked Audi Bradford to inspect during the service, including gearbox servicing advice.
Over the last three days I’ve called repeatedly asking to speak with the service manager Tariq and left messages with Jade, Alesha and another advisor, yet nobody has bothered to call back. I was genuinely pleased to see Audi return to Bradford after Sytner Audi Canal Road closed, but sadly the customer service has been extremely poor and disappointing.

I was in the process of buying a car at another dealership in the area however the service I was receiving was not positive and whilst waiting to know if I could go ahead with the purchase I saw an alternative car online at Audi that seemed to meet my needs better, I gave them a call to arrange to view it and from that very moment I realised this dealership was far more professional, knowledgeable and easy to deal with, they even helped me get my deposit back on the previous car by dealing with them on my behalf as they were just ignoring my emails and calls, an issue came up with the finance company on the day of collecting the car but Audi sorted me out promptly with an alternative lender and chased them regularly to get the paperwork through, I really couldn’t of asked for them to be anymore attentive, they even talked me through how to charge the car on the telephone once I had picked it up as I was struggling due to it being my first EV. Will definitely recommend to friends and family! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Of practical advice as we negotiated our first electric car purchase. I liked the fact they weren’t overly ‘salesy’, just supportive.

Nothing much to say apart that for a main dealer they are a joke
you make a valid complaint it gets ignored
you eventually speak to a manager who says they will ring you back later that day but they don't
i won't be taking my car back there for a service or use JCT600 HULL ever again as for the JCT600 reply here i did send you a copy of my complaint yesterday with all emails and again today myexperience@jct600 i also contacted the head office on the phone

I started off enquiring about a VW ID5, initially had a great video sent over by Umayr showing the car, it looked great, we spoke on the phone and arrange for me to be on site today between 12-1, I cheekily asked if there would be any movement on price as it was at the extreme of my budget, he bluntly said no. Ok, so I took the day off, arrived 1130, met Umayr who said he had to have the car valeted as in was lined out and came back in a mess!! (Alarm bells) not a great sales tactic, then after 10 minutes of waiting he came back to me and said the vehicle had been loaned out, hang on day of work, drove an hour from Doncaster and it wasn’t even on site! Gobsmacked and gutted, so no movement on price although I explained there was an identical model at VW Derby with 1500 mile less and for £1000 less, told it was a mess so he had it valeted and final straw not even there for my test drive, “it should be back later today!!”, got to be the worst customer service experience I’ve had. I had the deposit available in the bank to put down on this car today if I was happy. Back to the drawing board, I even tried calling the sales manager but no one answered and I got the answer phone, also emailed with no response, please be wary of purchasing from JCT600 Bradford

We are in the process of purchasing a new campervan from JCT 600 Commercial Vehicles Hull. The salesperson , Dave Cox, was very knowledgeable and informative regarding the campervan. He wasn't pushy like some sales people you meet but was very informative and knowledge regarding the questions we asked him.

Traveled over an hour to see a car which I had called to ask about to confirm it was there. When we arrived we had a half hour wait with nobody even acknowledging our presence then the car was in a compound. Asked for details about the car and the sales lady was so rude. Didn’t want to answer questions and when we showed worry at previous owner only having the car for one month we were basically shut down. Wanted to test drive but we were told she didn’t want to take us for a joy ride. Explained we wouldn’t know if we wanted it until we had driven it. Rude, no knowledge and unhelpful. We’ve left and will not return.

I purchased an Audi Q6 from JCT 600, Norton, Sheffield at the end of March, trading in a BMW which i had outstanding finance, this was part exchanged and provided JCT 600 with the settlement letter. I found out yesterday 22/4/26 they now require a further settlement letter as the prev one expired 8/4/26, 2 weeks after i traded it in. 1 week after i collected my new vehicle i chased up with the salesman that this had been settled he said it hadnt but assured me it would be straight away. So now i am still awaiting this being settled as according to BMW i still own this car, despite me trading it in 4 weeks ago!!! In the meantime i applied for a credit card and was only given a small credit amt despite having no outstanding credit that i knew of.
Absolutely would not deal with this company again!!!

Disappointing experience that fell short of Mercedes Benz standards I expected a smooth and professional experience when purchasing from JCT600 Mercedes Benz York, but unfortunately this was not the case. Despite paying for the vehicle in advance, I was told during my journey from Essex that the car could not be released. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and additional costs.
During my visit, I identified damage under the front bumper that had not been disclosed (I spoke to a senior manager about the car being checked by JCT, he confirmed it had been check but not all customers check under the car - shocking statement from an outlet and manager). Although I was assured it would be repaired, delivery was delayed. After receiving the car, I found further issues including interior trim damage, a broken seat button, and signs of cosmetic cover up work. The car also arrived with almost no fuel despite being charged for it. The £300 offered towards repairs is far below the actual cost confirmed by my local Mercedes Benz dealership. Communication since raising these concerns has been disappointing.
I have requested the car be returned to MB York and my funds be returned - STILL WAITING REGARDING THE REPAIRS OR RETURNING THE CAR!!!!
I hope JCT600 reviews their processes, as this experience does not reflect the standards expected from a Mercedes Benz approved retailer.

Saw a Vauxhall Adam for sale on Autotrader where it said it was at Yeadon. It wasn't. Went back a few days later. Found dirty great scratch & dent over rear wheel arch along with lots of stone chips on nearside. I was blamed for missing it yet the salesman had to zoom in on his iPad to see it in the published pictures! It was NOT shown front and centre like a dealer who takes responsibility would. Also car not been cleaned.
No fuel in car so had literal a 5 min test drive. Was enough to find clutch very worn. Salesman (P) said he'd get paint sorted but JCT not prepared to do clutch. Daughter liked car so we agreed £150 discount so I could get my mech to do clutch. Was called cheeky for asking!
Went back to pick up. Supposed valeting done. Was really dire. Salesman blamed the "Kosovan" they'd just taken on! P said we could take it back after we'd bought it and leave for day so rest of paint and proper valet could be done - guessing not by "Kosovan"!
Paid for car. Then discovered that one of 'two keys' for it had no electronics working just the key blade. Salesman blamed ‘me’ for not spotting, but I’d only been given the working key for the test drive.
Drove straight to my mechanic for the clutch doing. During my drive there, I noticed the windscreen was covered in something. I tried cleaning with washers but nothing shifted it. When at my mechanics I discovered that 80% of windscreen was covered with paint overspray and would need to be chemically cleaned off. I called P and told him of the discovery. No sorry, just, "We'll fix it".
My mechanic began stripping the car front end down, to replace the clutch, only to find the front sub-frame was so corroded it was actually dangerous to drive. Sub-frame rotting away on Vauxhall Adams is a VERY well-known problem so how in heaven's name it could be missed at an MOT (less than seven days before it was found and with NO advisories on the MOT either) was simply anyone's guess. I can only surmise that the tester was either a) utterly incompetent, b) simply ignored it, c) was told to ignore it or d) registered blind! Regardless of the excuse, both the individual tester and the test centre (JCT600 Menston) are being reported to the DVSA for failing in their statutory duty and allowing a potentially dangerous car on the road.
Unsurprisingly, you’ll not be surprised to hear I have zero faith in anything JCT have to say or wish to do. Frankly I'd be a fool to let my daughter loose in her first car from a dealer this slap dash, a dealer that, on this evidence, who seemingly putting sales over everything including the safety of those who ride in its cars and others on the roads.
So dear reader, our lessons for you to consider when looking at vehicles at JCT600 are:
- If you consider that JCT stand for Just Can’t Trust you’ll not go far wrong.
- Sales are ALL that matter – they are THE single objective of JCT600
- They will lie to get sales
- They will blame everyone else (including you) & take ZERO responsibility for any real issues
- You will quite possibly regret whatever you end up with
Buy from JCT600 Ltd with your eyes wired OPEN and your BS antenna set at maximum – for your own sanity.
UPDATE
Hmm. Was called. Hey he actually said "Sorry".
My overwhelming impression is this. If this happened in my business I'd be absolutely mortified. I'd be turning somersaults to appease the wronged customer just as I'd be turning over every rock to find out what had gone wrong to ensure it can never happen again. Not JCT600. Whole thing taken very much in their stride, very practiced, almost slick, as if they've done it all so many times before. Do JCT600 feel there are plenty more gullible punters in the sea?

I took my car to Audi York for a recall the other day, the service advisor Arron was super friendly and couldn’t fault him, however…
My car had a complimentary wash and hoover of the footwells, I could have washed it better myself and in most cases I do. I take pride in my cars and always want them looking nice and shiny but when Arron handed me my key and I proceeded to the drivers side of my car, I was shocked, no, appalled at the state of it, it looked like they just couldn’t be bothered, the entirety of the drivers side was smeared, it basically looked like they had washed it but not dried it or they’d tried to dry it with a dirty chamois as it was completely smeared and not clean at all!
I’m sorry but these are supposed to be ‘professional valetors’ and I know for a fact and 100% that I could have done a better job myself, I’m shocked at how little they clearly care.
