Wether or not spoons

We’re to burger came burger went 30 min wait for replacement, burnt yes full on burnt they actually burnt the burger bun on one size it was black burger was also burnt noway no one saw this very poor made me wait 30 mins for a replacement one and they was rushed sloppy I asked for a refund as didn’t want wait another half an hour for a redo again I was told because I ordered through the app they couldn’t do it ok ok but wow so now I have to chase it up more on my side for poor work poor quality.
Drinks where fine but it’s clear staff prioritise customers stood at the bar over app orders 21 got served befor our drinks where even made we counted, we ordered from the app to save crowding the bar clearly not valued as customers.

Visited Sunday evening meal the Golden Beam recently in…

Visited the Golden Beam recently in leeds area , we’ve been there quite regularly since it opened. Firstly my husband wanted the Caledonian burger but they said they couldn’t do it ? He ordered another burger on the menu, when that came it was over cooked and not in a burger bread bun . The second burger came out and that also wasn’t as described, it was in a muffin bread bun not American style cheese and instead of lettuce they put rocket on. No mention at ordering that they’d sold out of the correct burger buns , lettuce and the American cheese. Very poor not good enough, it maybe a popular pub in the student area but we’re not students 🥴 Ding ding food not cooked up to standard.

Spoons have really gone off of late and…

Spoons have really gone off of late and no longer offer the decent food and drink at a reasonable price. I visited The Booking Office in Edinburgh recently. The service was awful, the table was dirty and staff just couldn't be bothered to clean it and the food was dreadful - burnt yet cold! I complained on-line but Wetherspoons clearly don't value their longstanding customers and haven't bothered to respond. I used to recommend 'Spoons' to others, but will no longer do so.

Brecon George hotel

Brecon - the George hotel. 2 nights. Nice room and everything you need. Great staff who were willing to help and food was reasonably priced and enjoyable. I would recommend for central Brecon stay. No parking but all day parking in market street for £5 and that's a 2min walk from hotel. Recommend and would stay again

Had a Burns burger the other day

Had a Burns burger the other day. Tasted bland to what I remember last year. Miss the half chicken and gammon options so my friends and I don't use it as much now. Portions are smaller now as well..

Visited Swindon branch a few weeks before Christmas Good service as you’d usually expect. Unfortunately I left my wallet there. Called them and they said they had it and would post it. Didn’t receive it so called them again only to be told it wasn’t there company policy to return it in the post? Well there is this service called tracked that the post office offer you know. Called them again only to be told they can’t find it now. So as you can imagine I’m not happy. It has my driving licence and personal information in it which you have lost so please sort it out!!

NEEDS A FULL REFURB.

Hat and feathers seaham harbour has been open for 11 yeas'no change of furniture the seating and tables are old and dirty. This is a good pub if looked after we have been going regular since it opened.
BEERS are very reasonably priced but food is never very warm'kitchen staff i have noticed pick the food up with bare fingers and dont use gloves or utensils. Tables are always left with dirty crockery' for customers to shift before they can sit down .

Gourmet burger - on what planet!

Moon in the Square, Bournemouth, Gourmet burger Tuesday deal...don't bother! JDW should scrap this 10 minute service to allow time for things to de-frost. Chips half cooked, onion rings soggy (plus only 4 provided, not 6 as advertised). Burger itself was okay hence 2 stars, not one. Beef brisket topping was like soup so had to eat with knife & fork as bun was also soggy (spoon would have been handy). Overall, happy with 'small plates deal on Monday, curry deal on Thursday but give Tues & Wed (pizza deals) a wide berth!!

Eggsceptional ( not)

Good Morning
I am not in the habit of complaining but I will make an exception this morning . We ordered three breakfasts which were supposed to have eggs. They arrived with no explanation or apology for the lack of eggs . When I tried to discuss this with your manager she said the supplier did not turn up and it wasn’t her fault .
When I suggested the app should have been updated to indicate the position she said I was rude and walked off !
A simple hand written sign throughout the restaurant would also have worked ! ( albeit your orders may have been decreased )

This is the second weekend in a row I have visited the Greyfriers in Preston, still no toilet paper in the male toilets and the cubical door locks are still broken off the door.
Surely the staff signing the hourly check have noticed this!

Rochdale Wetherspoons terrible bar service.

Rochdale Wetherspoons this afternoon once again serving the regulars who jump the queue. I’d been waiting about 5 minutes and I was next to be served. Another customer walks up the the bar and even without saying what he wanted a member of the bar staff started pouring him a pint. I told her I was before him and her reply was ‘I’ve started serving him now’. Even though the customer told her to serve me she still carried on. How ignorant was that? I’ve seen this lots of times in Rochdale Wetherspoons. I think it’s the policy to serve regulars first and stuff the rest of the customers.
