I found their advertising deceptive

I found their advertising deceptive. I signed up for the meal program which promised 17lbs weight loss in first 30 days. At the time of sign up, there was a subscription tied to the contract which was very complicated and difficult to understand. I cancelled the contract after 3 months because of my dissatification, but apparently Jenny Craig did not cancel the subscription. On Oct. 3, 2025 I was charged $69.99 for the subscription. When I contacted the company I was told by a clerk the fee was non-refundable and they had not received a cancellation notice from Jenny Craig. I know I am not the only person this has happened to. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THE COMPANY AGAIN.

@jennycraigofficial I am now a former but previously loyal, customer of Jenny Craig who has recently had a horrific and extremely disappointing experience with both the service and customer support I received.
I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with my recent experience as a Jenny Craig AutoShip customer. When I initiated my subscription, I specifically asked the representative placing my order if I needed to move my AutoShip date up, as it appeared I might not receive my meals in time to avoid a service interruption. I was assured that this would not be an issue and that I would absolutely receive my meals on time.
Unfortunately, that assurance was not honored. My meals ran out as of this morning, and my order is still listed as “in fulfillment.” This has caused a complete disruption in service—despite the clear promise I received at sign-up.
I called customer service repeatedly to resolve this, hoping to speak with someone willing to listen, understand, and take action. Instead, I was met with repeated recitations of the “no refunds” policy, without any acknowledgment of the circumstances or the promise that was made to me. While I respect company policies, in this case, I was given a direct assurance by a Jenny Craig representative. Since that promise was broken, I believe this situation warrants an exception.
As it stands, I have canceled my subscription and submitted a dispute with my credit card company for my most recent order. I am also sharing this experience publicly in hopes that other customers do not encounter the same issue. I am hoping to reach someone at Jenny Craig who can help make this right, and restore my trust in the brand.

Happy With Jenny Craig

I've been using Jenny Craig for about 10 months. I use Club Jenny. I use Jenny Craig for maintenance so only eat their food about 2 days a week. I've had no problems at all with the company or ordering. The one time Fed Ex lost my order they shipped a new order the same day at no charge. I'm very happy with Jenny Craig and will continue to use their products.

Entire Shipment of Food Arrived Spoiled!

Jenny Craig is very bad!!!!! They shipped frozen food by GROUND delivery. A week later a box of spoiled food arrived at my door, and after much arguing with them they did not provide me with a full refund. Very bad company!!!!!

Since they are not honoring a full refund I don't trust that this won't just happen again with my next shipment so I canceled the service. Jenny Craig did not see that they did anything wrong with shipping frozen food by ground delivery.

Don’t click on Club Jenny

Don’t click on Club Jenny, they immediately charge your credit card a $69.99 membership fee and refuse a refund. The website is misleading and the employees turn a deaf ear once they have your money.

very deceitful and they are trying to scam money out of people.

I had a terrible experience with their ordering. The terms are not clear and customer service was not helpful at all. Reach out to them right after i placed the order because they don't provide the delivery time until after placing order and it was going to be during a time i was going to be out of town, so i wanted to cancel, but they said they couldn't help at all even though i reach out right after placing the order, and it did not impact their business at all. In my opinion this is very deceitful and they are trying to scam money out of people.

The new Jenny Craig is horrible with…

The new Jenny Craig is horrible with Customer Service! I was on JC with a mentor locally for years, and it was great, lost a lot of weight. When they went bankrupt and were bought by Wellful, Inc (which also owns Nutrisystem), the Cust Service is the worst. They have products on Amazon as a third-party seller, and I recently ordered Barscotti, which were always a favorite. They did not ship, and I tried contacting JC, but was rudely transferred then after sitting on hold for a long time, the call disconnected. Thankfully, Amazon stepped in on my behalf to contact them. JC never gave an apology or even the courtesy of a reply to either me or to Amazon, though after several days they finally shipped them. Amazon had offered to give me a refund, and I was going to do that when they shipped. They finally arrived weeks later. To be clear--Amazon is not at fault on this, and Amazon was very helpful to me. JC was completely irresponsible, and I won't be ordering anything from them again. This type of thing never happened with the old JC before they went bankrupt and Wellful, Inc bought them.

Not the same company as before, the new owners are deceitful

Been a member for Jenny Craig for many years. I was told they were purchased by a new company and are now online only. After signing up for the meals, I discovered that the ordering process was clunky and difficult. I decided to cancel and this after my 2nd order. After searching their website for a half hour, I could not find any method to cancel. Even the FAQs do not reference how to cancel, so I had to call customer service. I spoke to the rep who informed me that calling was the only way to cancel. When asked why this was not spelled out on the website, I was given a very weak response that family members could cancel a clients, so they needed to hear from their customer directly. Seriously!!! Find another company for weight loss, these guys don't care about their customers like the old Jenny Craig owners.

Customer Service awful

First I was supposed to receive food for the 14 days. It’s been 19 and still haven’t received it. June 27- July 15.
I called days ago to change my shipment since it was so late and I wouldn’t be able to be here. They said they wouldn’t do that. They said it was already being processed. They have supposedly just today made a label ( fedex hasn’t received the order). Now it will sit outside my door for a week, and they could have taken care of this. Customer Service they have none, I would never recommend Jenny Craig.

Not Worth It

Jenny Craig is a horrible company. I would give no stars. I signed up for a 14-Day x2 meal plan. I prepaid for the two 14 day shipments because it was "cheaper" to prepay. After the first shipment I knew I did not want to renew the plan so I logged in to my account to cancel the auto-renewal. Since I prepaid I still had one 14-day shipment left. I changed the meal options for that delivery because I did not like 1/2 the meals from the 1st shipment. I received a confirmation email for the changed meal options & a seperate confirmation email for the cancellation of the plan renewal. In the generically generated email it stated "if we are to issue you a refund you will receive it in 7-14 days. I thought, "oh maybe I'm getting a refund for half the prepaid meals instead of them shipping the last meal shipment. This was June 9th. I hadn't received a refund or my last shippment after 4 weeks. I thought I would receive one or the other but instead received neither. So Jenny Craig took my money & didn't send the second meal shippment I already paid for. I called JC customer service & explained the situation. They said "Jenny Craig NEVER issues refunds & we have no record of an email being sent to you that would mention the possibility of a refund". I let them know I still had the email & could forward it to them. I also let them know I wasn't expecting a refund, I was expecting either the refund or my 2nd meal shipment, which I had not received either, so if JC never issues refunds, where is my meal shipment? Customer Service said "You cancelled renewing the plan a month ago so we can no longer see your account as active in order to see what is going on with whether a 2nd shipment was sent or not. Customer Service told me they would have to transfer me to another Customer Service department to recieve any further help. I was transferred. Once again this Customer Service rep said "Jenny Craig NEVER issues refunds. When you cancelled the renewal payment the rep should have let you know". I explained that I was able to cancel the renewal online via my JC account & there wasn't any information stating my second shipment would be cancelled or I would not received a refund of any kind. I was then told that the "solution" for Jenny Craig would be that they would resend the 1st meal plan order & that would cover the 2nd meal plan shipment. I didn't want the exact order I received from the 1st shipment because I didn't like 1/2 the meals. I had already changed the meal options via my accout so I should have received a 2nd shipment with the updated meal changes. Customer Service said the order is in & not changes can be made. At the end of the day Jenny Craig does not have any quality customer service attributes at all. That's fine you NEVER issue refunds (as I was told over & over), however, I prepaid for a service and Jenny Craig decided not to fulfill that service. Mind you I was kind enough to wait 4 weeks & received nothing. I then wasted 30 mintues on the phone trying to see what was going on while having the blame placed on me. This is my experience & I understand everyone should form their own opinions, however, I would NEVER reccommed Jenny Craig to anyone. They have a fixation on money and a lack of care for the individual.

Jenny Craig is a RIP OFF COMPANY

Jenny Craig is a RIP OFF COMPANY. Do not buy there food. I join for the 30 days plan for $509.00 I the first 14 day came and I tried the food the food made me sick and it taste horrible. I called and told CS that I want a refund for the 14 days plan that wasn't shipped yet and to refund me $275.00. they said they don't do refund. What a rip off. Buyer beware DO NOT BUY FROM JENNY CRAIG. Also I didn't even get the second order of food, but I have to paid for it.

Great Results….…

I have had great results over the past 3 weeks using Jenny Craig. I am a 65 yr old female and have lost 10 pounds. The food though somewhat pricey is good and convenient. I found I am not hungry throughout the day like with most diets and Jenny Craig offers a great coaching and support network. I would highly recommend this program.

Was a loyal customer for over 20 years…

Was a loyal customer for over 20 years and was so sad when they went out of business. I was hopeful when they came back under new management but to put it bluntly, the only thing the same is the name and SOME of the food. Customer service is TERRIBLE (I was put on hold for over a half hour only to ve told that there was no supervisor that would speak to me. I was told I had to prepay for 6 weeks of food which i did, but I needed to purchase additional breakfasts and was told I was not allowed to. Nobsympathy, no concern, no care that I had been such a loyal customer. The food is the same but with way fewer options. But with the horrible customer service and the lack of interest in working with customers, ibwill never spend another dime with this new pathetic version that is abusing what used to be a terrific brand name in the hopes that customers won't realize. Don't waste your moneybor time and ifbyou are looking at reviews, make sure they are from year end 2023 and later!

Deceptive TV ads?

I'm only commenting on their TV ads. Deception. If J Craig wants to convince us of weight loss, then show us how 'fat' the models were, and their original weight. Then, their new weight and the time it took to lose it.
I did low-carb at 190 lbs and lost 15 lbs in 30 days, 15 years ago. I do my own low-carb meals now. For over 15 years, I stay at 160-165 and happy.

Jenny Craig is the best Weight Loss Program

I have been a member of Jenny Craig since May of 2017. I was at my all time highest weight after my Mom passed of 178. I lost 40lbs on their program. I have tried many weight loss programs over the years but Jenny is the best. My consultant Lynette really got to know me and always encouraged me every week along with helping me be successful on this program. She always had the best tips and advice. Also the Manager and other consultants at my location were also great with encouragement. They really do care about their clients! During COVID my weight started creeping up because I am a stress eater and Lynette helped me to refocus and to get back on track. The food is good and even though i am not much of a cook, I would add veggies and spices I liked to make the meals even better. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus snacks. I was not hungry. The meals are lower sodium lower sugar but they taste good. I would recommend this program to anyone! Some people think JC is expensive but i disagree because gaining my health back and learning new ways to deal with stress other than food is priceless. Getting the one on one attention with your own Consultant also priceless!

I wouldn't even give Jenny Craig one…

I wouldn't even give Jenny Craig one star. I only joined for one week and they showed me they're true colors in only one week. The consultant was so not focused on me, her and secretary was playing bestys the whole time I was there. She didn't pay me no attention, with no encouragement. She just kept it scripted the whole time. Overall experience was a bad experience. Also I called and told customer service and they set me up with a on call consultant as when I asked questions she gave me the answers as if they were stupid questions about my weight and food, also a scripted call and interview. I decided to cancel the whole entire plan because my intentions were to only get 16$ for 16 pounds not all this confusion and food that did not taste good. So I would not recommend Jenny Craig to anyone infact I would run if I were you, I would smart shop at the grocery store instead of going to a scam company like Jenny Craig, never again.
