I went first to John Lewis (Kingston) only to find they do not have cameras in store - but how do you buy one online without any experience? So I went to Jessops - and, joy, knowledgable staff who can talk you through the options. You can also hold the camera and get a feel for it. Pete was excellent - informative, thoughtful about what might suit me best. I left the well-stocked shop the very happy owner of "bridge" camera which fits my needs. The pricing is very competetive - I had checked online beforehand - but Jessops also have the option of some 2nd hand cameras. I would definitely recommend choosing Jessops in-store service to anyone buying a camera - Pete was top notch!

I asked for a lens in between two different sizes and the size that you gave me is excellent because it’s in between the two. I can’t wait to take photographs when I go to Goodwood festival speed and the airshow.

I had to have passport photos taken so I went to Jessops in Kingston and the service was fantastic! They took my photo, asked me what it was for & ran it through a special programme to pre-check it would be accepted by that country, then cut the pics out & handed them to me in a wallet. Amazing service and if you’re applying for a passport having the back-up approval it will be accepted is so reassuring.

Nat was very helpful with his advice, allowing for my total ineptitude with all things technological. I was able to make a good decision and purchased a 17 inch Agfa Realiview digital photo frame. Top service.
