Perfect location for purchasing…

Perfect location for purchasing Binoculars in Kingston. There were a range of prices and sizes and more importantly, try before you buy. The prices were better than online as well.

A name to be trusted.

I initially wanted to purchase the KASE REV PLUS 72MM ENTRY Kit which was advertised on the Jessops website at a fantastic price. I called just to check what was included in the kit and enquired as to when the KASE REV PLUS 72MM PRO KIT would be back in stock as that too was on special offer. I was informed that they had in fact one left so I duly purchased the PRO kit.
The whole process was seamless as I was sent a dedicated link to make the purchase and free delivery included well. The only minor downside was that the courier missed their collection on two occasions, resulting in not knowing if the item had been dispatched. A few emails to customer service reassured me that the item was on its way. My apologies and thanks to Ben in customer services who graciously endured my persistent enquiries. The situation was not of his or Jessops making. My filter kit duly arrived and I am very happy with my purchase.

Most beautiful experience

I'm not even sure. The atmosphere was beautiful. The staff that attended to me was super patient and very helpful. And very resourceful too. I'd very well recommend this place anytime anyday. Thank you for having me.

Very disappointing service all round

This relates to an online purchase, not a specific store. The website on Friday said cut-off time for Saturday delivery was 16.00. I ordered before then but the order was not delivered on Saturday, despite me paying a premium for the service. To be fair, that has since been reimbursed after a call to customer service. What was worst was that at no time was I informed that the order would not be delivered on Saturday, so I waited in all day to no avail. When the order was delivered (on Tuesday) the parcel was hanging open and one of the corners of the flimsy cardboard box had been crushed. Fortunately the box containing the camera was intact. More by luck than management. My calls to customer service were handled professionally, but at no time was an apology offered, either for the delayed delivery or the issue with the packaging. Needless to say, I won't be using Jessops again.

Excellent Camera Shop

Called into the Oxford Street shop to look at Cameras. The salesmn was extremely helpful and pleasant and sold me the perfect camera for my needs. Excellent knowledge of photography and great customer service.

First Time Buyer

Lens arrived quickly with no problems. Unfortunately had to use returns process (due to my error) which also worked surprisingly well. Would use Jessops again.

Expect a lower non negotiable price…

Expect a lower non negotiable price from the HQ from the initial guide one in the shop and nothing happens speedily!

Don’t get me wrong, price paid was fair, but frustrating that all done by email and no direct calls

Whilst our store teams are able to provide quick assessments, the process is clear that the units are sent to our Inspections team where they make a thorough and detailed inspection of the units. We appreciate it is disappointing when the price is reduced from the initial quote however until our Inspections team have completed their assessment, we cannot guarantee the final quote valuation.

We are so pleased to hear you feel that the price paid was fair however please note, if you do have any issues with prices in the future, you can reject the quote price offered and receive your unit back. We completely understand it is a two way street on trade-ins and if either Jessops or the customer are unhappy with the terms, we both have the right to walk away from the deal.

Our phone lines are open 9am-5pm Monday-Friday and we can be reached on 020 3322 3387. No requests were made for a call nor have we received any calls. Quotations are sent by email as standard and we can see the response to your email required photographic evidence which is why the team naturally came back on email however we are always happy to have a chat over the phone.

Dpd is not a good courier

Dpd is not a good courier. They didn't even try to get near my doorstep and told me there was nobody at home. Packaging was good.

Returning needs to be like amazon!

I really like Jessops and deliberately bought from you instead of amazon. Unfortunately, I needed to return the item as it was too small and had to deal with the hassle of paying for a return and insuring etc. Amazon is so easy as if you need to return the goods you just click and it issues you with a label and you are good to go. Customer services were a bit nonchalant about this, making the return easier would help even if a cost is necessary.

A great buying experience.

Met a great assistant Joanne T. She made purchasing a pair of binoculars so easy. We went back and purchased a new camera and lens. Her technical knowledge was a great help in making the right decision to buy these products. She was happy to spend time talking me through the questions I had and making great suggestions as to the best product for me. A great purchasing experience.

I have entrusted my late mother’s 3m…

I have entrusted my late mother’s 3m slides for copying to memory stick. I have to say they were coped and returned to me within one month with exemplary service from Joe and Lauren and the team who did the copying. I have yet to check the memory stick and two copies but I am sure they will be fine and contain the 568 images that needed to be scanned and copied.

Pete went above and way beyond to help me sort out my business with Sony. Dealing with emails and passwords with incredible patience. I felt I had gone back in time with such personal and caring service!
