YOUR CLIPPING POLICY IS JUST PLAIN…

YOUR CLIPPING POLICY IS JUST PLAIN STUPID ANY YOU ARE RIPPING OFF SENIORS THAT DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT AND THEN THEY WIND UP PAYING THE FULL PRICE. I GO TO TONY'S NOW WERE IF SOMETHING IS ON SALE, YOU GET THE SALE PRICE RIGHT AT THE COUNTER AND THERE IS NO CLIPPING ON THE PHONE. PLEASE GET RID OF THIS PRACTICE BECAUSE YOU ARE SCREWING YOUR CUSTOMERS. I WAS TRYING TO GET THE COUPON FOR CHERRIES AND AN EMPLOYEE WORKED ON MY PHONE FOR 15 MINUTES AND COULDN'T GET IT TO WORK.

Why No bags

Why? Are you at the Naperville 75th street store, NOT using bags for grocery pick-up? The people bring my order to the take care and are very nice. But who decided that this store will no longer sack my purchases. The last two times, they just laid the food in the trunk. Why no bags? It's a very stupid idea. When winter comes, are your employees going to continue this practice? Are they going to stand at the trunk moving product piece by piece in sub-zero weather?

What a stupid cheap idea. For what I pay for groceries, a plastic bag isn't too much to ask? From my friends, who shop at other Jewels, they don't have to deal with such nonsense. Who at the Naperville 75th street made this decision? I have a variety of grocery stores where I can pick-up or have delivery. Are you going to stack groceries on my porch regardless of the weather?

My little cousin and friend were here…

My little cousin and friend were here and this Middle-age lady came up to us and told my little cousin to get out of the cart because she’s going to tip it over my little cousin is only six years old. She’s very tall and a little bit overweight and she was fat shaming her she, she started crying and the lady kicked us out. The lady was obese gray hair. But after the situation happened, this young man with brown hair , and a ponytail, reassured that this was not the first time for us to not feel bad about it and she just gets really mad over really tiny things that should not even be allowed. Thisis the meanest employee I have ever met in my whole 30 years of life.

This is the second time buying baby yogurt and finding out it’s expired when I got home, I have seen baby food pouches that have expired on their shelves in the Chicago Heights location and the homewood location and have reported it each time to their staff but when it comes to baby food people check the expiration date before you buy

Since October 2022 I have filled my prescriptions at the Jewel-Osco pharmacy in Danada Square West. The service I've gotten there is simply outstanding. They have gone out of their way to find the lowest prices for me after comparing my prescription drug plan costs with other options that were available. They work to save me money. In particular, one pharmacy manager, Kristine Perry, was terrific in getting me the lowest price to pay on my prescriptions. Janice, one of the clerks, is always very helpful. In January 2024, Hardik Patel (the pharmacist in charge on the day that I went in) was very, very helpful in explaining to me the reasons behind the problems with my prescription refill schedule . He's very knowledgeable, very helpful, and gave me options to resolve my problem.  Currently, I live about 40 miles away from Danada Square. It's a hike. I keep going to that pharmacy because the staff there is phenomenal.

Only giving two star cause they refund quickly with no issues. My complaint is I LITERALLY am missing 1/2 my order a large percentage of the time not that “out of stock” but said delivered and not delivered! Out of stock is very frequent but I can get over that. But, now I have to order again give tip ( cause usually not delivers problem) and hope it’s right … no I will go somewhere else for delivery.

Shop at 75th and Jane ave

Shop at 75th and Jane ave. At Woodridge today, the checker name Kristina said she could not bag my purchase due to her arms were killing her. Is this the of customer service that the company is doing now, that was the only message she said to me that her arms was killing her, then she should just go home if she is not capable of doing her job, very disappointed shopper, if this is the kind of attitude the cashier have , I don’t need that kind of service, but she did have time to talk to the customer before me about getting a perm for her hair, wow good for her !

I placed an order for groceries with…

I placed an order for groceries with Jewel 3 weeks ago, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite being charged over $113, my items never arrived. When I checked the status, I was informed that the address was supposedly incorrect, resulting in the items being sent back.
Even though I made many orders before and they
ALL arrived except this one! Upon contacting Jewel, I was assured that a refund would be processed within 5 to 7 business days. However, weeks have passed, and I'm still waiting for the reimbursement.
Despite reaching out to customer service multiple times, speaking with different representatives each day, the issue remains unresolved. The lack of accountability and failure to fulfill their promise has left me incredibly frustrated and disappointed with Jewel's grocery delivery service. I urge others to beware of similar issues and reconsider using their services until they address these significant shortcomings. I am still calling everyday for my refund!!!!

Horrific!!

Horrific!!
Been shopping at Jewel every darn week for 50 years! So of course I’m an old widow now with more back problems than Jewel can think of ways to literally ROB and STEAL from their customers!! They arbitrarily raise prices that in many cases are not within the realm of the excuse of so called INFLATION!
They have a license to steal and believe me Jewel uses it every chance they get!
For instance, the left over donuts that they box and used to sell for five dollars; they simply raised to six! They were made and not sold so tell me why the extra buck??
You must buy Three of everything to save a few cents! I can barely lift one 12 pack of soda let alone three or sometimes more!
The managers are rude and act like you are the scum of the earth if you simply ask for a return for an overcharge!
“Did you clip it” they growl. Ha!!! How can the seniors hold their purse and phone looking for strawberries that aren’t listed under strawberries?? Yesterday, the cashier said to look under Deals! He took my phone and clipped the sale price which was still $2.00 more than the digital sign! So, there I am waiting in the customer service line (my back Throbbing) to get the refund! They happened to be DIRECTLY in front of her or I would still be there or on a gurney waiting for an ambulance!
Two dollars would buy me two boxes of overpriced donuts!
Fixed income is fixed!
They have no regard for the hell it is to shop for food which happens to be one of the three basic necessities of life!
And they count on the fact that people aren’t able to navigate the horrendous torture to operate the complicated online system they created!
Here’s one for you😘—-for the last 30 years there has been the same (now very dirty sign) above the donut and muffin case stating $6.99 per dozen! Well, sorry seniors and all shoppers but as I was being grossly overcharged by the cashier; she gave me a shocked and unbelieving look! Guess what? The sign was removed by the next Dayi
Awhile back Jewel-Osco decided to have only one cashier and make all other lines self checkout! Talk about a cluster….!!!
Not only were many people suddenly unemployed but people just filled their carts way above the brim and ran out to a waiting car and sped away after dumping the stolen merchandise in their vehicles! I guess they have to recover their losses by overcharging the rest of us!
I wrote this review because my shopping experience has left me couch bound probably forever!
Happy Shopping Everyone!
B, Stephenson

I'm 60 years old with bad knees and…

I'm 60 years old with bad knees and ankles. Today I decided to go to jewel instead of my wife who normally goes. Knowing I'd pay 300 dollars fir a few plastic bags, but its abit closer then another place so here I go.
I have knee brace and ankle brace on. Unfortunately I walk with a limp. Wife jokingly calls me ilean. Get there and I have no clue where to go for some items. I ask a rep and she has no idea ( great ). So I'm walking around this place and gave up. Called my wide for help, but by this time I had the wanna be officers trailing me and for what....
Wife guides thru this store but at each turn I had moppers walk slowly by my cart starring inside of it as if I had a dead animal or somthing. This kind of behavior was with me the whole time I was there and of course it's very embarrassing to say the least. I make well over 100 k per year and have never been arrested for anything, but shopping here was as I'd I was a criminal. Terrible.
We spend alot of money throughout the decades shopping here and lord knows that from now on will take my business elsewhere. Yep it really doesn't matter though. It's just another day for the wannabes to track down shoppers and make them feel welcomed. Yeah right. Wife tells me to just leave and she will come right back to pick up items, but that's not right. So I continue on.
Finally making my way out the door I noticed a bald head weasel pretending to exit the building. You gotta be kidding me. He goes out then sees me loading my vehicle and then walks back in. Disgusting behavior. It's not only disrespectful, but to have a minion follow me out. What the heck did I do. I felt like a real criminal. I have never been so disrespected in my life.
So from now on I'm gonna copy and paste this review to as many places I can. I hope this will change someone's mind and keeps them from shopping at jewel. I should of just driven a few miles out of my way and would of had a better night.
Considering that jewel hires people to stock and clean floors, they should really invest on hiring proper people to handle requests that were not listed in the job title.
As for the guy who followed me out for no reason, you will hopefully be targeted aswell for no reason. Sounds mean, but nope. Karna comes back.
The store I'd located in the city of West chicago IL 69185 on Rt 38 and joliet rd. Just plan yuck. It's nice to see a company hire challenged individuals, but again most that were hunting me appeared not to have any disabilities.
Like I stated above, I'm not nor will anyone in my family return to this threatening location. No way ! It's too bad I had to give a 1 star review. We as consumers should be able to rate the service with no stars. This place truly is a no star facility.

My shopping experience has just gotten…

My shopping experience has just gotten worse and worse. Sales where I have to buy multiple items do not sit well with me. It is not one free when the price for one actually equals the price of two! I have a horrible time with these online coupons and now you stick in these e-coupons that I have to buy the item and pick up that day. Will it not be in the store tomorrow?! I have a hard enough time with the other ones and I am not getting into online ordering. Fresh meat counter could also use a number system . Don’t like all the self check outs. I think customers should get a discount on their purchase if they are doing the checking out themselves.

What went wrong? Jewel osco went up

What went wrong? I used to remember when I would go to Jewel osco the prices were like that of the local H-E-B here in Texas but to my shopping surprise all thanks to the economy being garbage like it is and inflation those prices went completely up so much in fact I even had to exit the store and I was on a visit while in Chicago.

Absolutely the worst produce and…

Absolutely the worst produce and virtually no customer service from most employees. Everybody opts for the self checkouts in Chicago because the employees are so dismissive & rude. I spotted a shoplifter at store 3514 in Chicago and told the manager; He and 4 Jewel employees stood and watch the shoplifter go up and down the aisles filling suitcases with stolen merchandise. I asked if they would call the police and they said "Jewel managment tells us to do nothing when there's a shopllifter." It was frightening for us customers that the staff would stand by idly and let people shoplift. The cashiers said they do not have store security. This is the store where someone was killed by Jewel staff during the pandemic!

I an constantly receiving damaged goods…

I an constantly receiving damaged goods that are delivered. I am a Fresh Pass member, but, that has no bearing on the lack of quality items delivered to my home. 12/31/2023 I received cake slices turned upside down in the delivery gag, frosting was sliding off. Onion delivered was very soft. Upon cutting the onion with a knife, the onion was rotten inside. Deans dip was delivered with the sides crushed in as though the container was punched. Seal was broken. I do not order meat anymore from Jewel, as the meat has always expired. The worse was just received on a recent delivery. The meat was 10 days old, slimy and stinky. Meat has never been fresh. Produce ranks the same, always very poor quality. Most products I use are always out of stock ( one for over a year, others for a few months. Poor ordering/stocking employees) My loyalty to Jewel goes back to the 50's (my parents always shopped there) From the 60's when I started shopping there on my own. Long time customer. but, have been totally disgusted with Jewel for the past 4 years.

If I could give zero stars I would.

If I could give zero stars I would.. I was a freshpass member which means zero delivery charge, whenever I placed an order they would attempt to charge me a delivery fee & a miscellaneous $5 fee, all of my items where ebt eligible. When I called/chat on numerous attempts to place an order I received false information, representatives would not assist if a receipt was generated. I informed Jimuel that my original form of payment was charged & sent in a screenshot to show that the payment was deducted, he basically said that I was a liar, that they did not charge me. (Because of him I will never do any business with Jewels-Osco again). Jewels will charge your card unauthorized/ miscellaneous fees and the representatives will state that they will reverse the fees once it goes through & attempt to get you to switch cards so they can withdraw the unauthorized amount.. Worse experience ever.
