A van in Newcastle nearly hit me on a roundabout then a bus.

I wouldn't trust this company if van drivers are driving like this

We ordered a replacement shower panel from the clearance store as it was no longer available on any of the main sites. Pauline was so helpful and even went to the warehouse to check everything we needed was in the box. They then shipped the panel to our local James Hargreaves store who then delivered it to us. The service we received from Pauline and the staff at Newcastle upon Tyne was excellent and will definitely use them again.

Bought kit for a full refurb of four bathrooms, including shower trays, glass, wc’s, units and countertops/basins. Instinct quality was very good and was installed without problem. David Moss at Warrington branch was very professional and ensured all kit delivered in phased manner exactly as required. Would highly recommend this Company and the quality of service provided.

Had a leaking kitchen sink pipework problem - we inherited crappy cheap pipework from the previous house owners - and there was no way of acquiring a “fix” that would work from any of the major suppliers.

Went to JH here in Chester and Ian could not have been more patient or more helpful. He advised me to dump the leaking lot and replace it with quality McAlpine pipework.

Having showed him a photo of what I had to fix, Ian explained exactly what I needed. I promptly bought what he recommended and Ian fitted it all together for me in the shop. I walked out with it all in situ, all ready to simply do the job! Yep, as easy as that.

Couldn’t have asked for better or more helpful, patient customer service and highly recommend this shop as the best place to go in Chester for plumbing supplies and informed advice. No question.

Spoke to Robert the branch manager today (Lincoln branch) about fitting our bathroom and he couldn’t have done more when explaining our different options. Due to committing elsewhere we may not even use the firm but his warm friendly approach and patience explaining details made us wish we had found him sooner. As we left even the ware house staff wished us well. Robert and his team are very approachable and should be on a short list if considering a bathroom project.

Need to be careful of their van drivers! They had a need for speed flying everywhere , driving to work this morning about to exit the a38 had to slow down due to a lorry in front but that doesn’t matter for the James Hargreaves driver as they come flying down the left side of me , if i hadn’t of slammed on my brakes it could of become a very bad accident. Avoid this company , they’re not worth the money if they have their employees driving round so recklessly reflecting badly to the members of public.

I’ve been struggling to find the correct Solar Sensor for our Solar System. I was recommended to visit the Renewable Section at James Hargreaves. I struck GOLD. I was introduce to Mr Patrick on the technical section. The Sensor probe was a rare item but he promised to investigate. Early the following day I received an email, Mr Patrick had not only located the correct sensor but also the special cable required to connect to the system. I was very very lucky to be recommended to James Hargreaves & so grateful to meet Mr Patrick who listened to my needs & located all the various parts I needed. A Blue Chip company

I recently updated my underfloor heating kit through Dave Patrick. The service and guidance he provided to not only me and my heating engineer, was excellent.
The new kit linked in beautifully with my new Ideal boiler to create a seamless control system.
First class service from consultation, order, delivery, installation and commissioning.

I recently purchased underfloor heating supplies from James Hargreaves Burnley. I engaged with David Patrick who was extremely helpful throughout and even solved a 4 week dispute I had between two suppliers. I believe David is leading the UFH department and I would 100% recommend James Hargreaves and in particular David's knowledge, experience and commitment was one of the reasons I used James Hargreaves

I'd avoid the Blackpool branch. I spent over £3000 pounds on bathroom equipment and when tried to return something got accused of 'having it out on site' as it was dirty and cracked. The item had sat in my home for a couple of weeks in it's box - the first time it had been out of the box was when my wife tried to return it. The way they treated her was disgusting.
EDIT:: As pointed out - this review was for James Hargreaves Plumbing supplies - a different division of the company which has a bathroom showroom in Blackpool.

Fantastic customer service at the chester branch. Ian really looked after us and his knowledge was incredible, stooped us making some big mistakes in choices of radiators

My husband and I just wanted to say how helpful Michelle from James Hargreaves at Burnley was.
Nothing was too much trouble.A credit to the company.

Bought over £2000 of items that the plumber was not able to fit immediately when he did there was a chip in the sink
James Hargreaves of Blackpool said they would replace but they were out of stock he lied because I enquired to find they was in stock
They just want your money No customer service whatsoever
I ended up buying another one from elsewhere but I am stuck with the faulty one and £200 out of pocket
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY go elsewhere

We have had a beautiful bathroom recently,Terry Anne at James Hargreaves designed it ,and it was fitted perfectly by Ross ,Chris and their team of lads who all work really hard keeping the mess to a minamal we are really impressed with the finish it is better than we could have imagened Thankyou

only just got trustpiolt but used this company a few months back. really friendlt staff and good prices. would definitely reccommend this company to anyone in lancashire very efficient and satisfied with the service!

Sharon and Natalie were very knowledgeable and helpful when helping us plan our bathroom. The quality of the product they supply is top notch and with prices that we couldn't find cheaper, even on the internet. The bathroom fitters they recommended, Rico Plumbing, were also excellent. The arrived on date, on time and did a fabulous job. There price was also very competitive and they were a pleasure to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both James Hargreaves Bathrooms and Rico Plumbing.

We wanted to replace two bathrooms and had contacted several high status bathroom providers expecting to pay more to get a good level of expertise , guidance through choosing from extensive availability and managing our expectations. Having been disappointed with both service and general level of guidance through the myriad of choices we decided to approach James Hargreaves.
We should have made this our first call as the service, care and attention was excellent. We were guided through the various options including fittings ending with two fabulously designed solutions.
The team at James Hargreaves were excellent, in particular Terri-Anne who was able to answer all our queries and finalise a design that exactly meets our requirements whilst looking stunning now complete.
We were especially pleased at the quality of installation arranged through Schofields and managed by Mark. They did an excellent job ensuring all the detail of the installation was just as we required as the installation progressed. They were not only highly skilled in delivering a superb result they were very careful and considerate in ensuring they kept the areas of the house they used clean having carefully laid out dust covering.
I would have no hesitation in using James Hargreaves again or in recommending them to anyone else.
