Don’t eat at JJs

I ordered a sub and got a sandwich. Then they took 1 piece of meat and stretched it across the bread and it still didn’t even cover the whole sandwich. I’ve supported them for years but they told me it’s just how their recipe is. I say they cheated me and I’m done with them.

Rock Falls, IL Jimmy John’s

On Friday, March 20, 2026 around 1:15 pm, I was pulling into Moore Tires on 1st Avenue (Route 40) in Rock Falls. As I was pulling in to park, a small dark colored four door car followed me into the Moore Tires parking lot at a very close distance behind me. I went to pull into a parking stall that faced west close to the main entrance, when the delivery driver pulled north into an area which is not a parking area, and he prohibited me from properly parking. I waited for the driver to confront him about his actions. I asked him if he knew how to park. His response was “I don’t really flipping care.” I told him what he did was rude and inconsiderate. He again said he didn’t care. I had parked my truck in closest parking stall facing west which made it difficult to for him to back out - I parked in a legitimate parking spot. I watched him back out to ensure that he did not hit my truck. The staff inside Moore Tires witnessed what he did - how he parked and maneuvered to get out and leave. Had he parked in a stall about 10 feet over, he would have been in a legitimate parking stall.

I don’t believe in getting people fired, but his actions were utterly ridiculous and self centered. He was taking the”Freaky Fast Delivery” a bit far. However, if I was his boss, I would fire him today knowing his actions.

This is the second negative experience with this Jimmy John’s in a week. Because of this, I just might not ever give this store my business ever again.

Please contact me via email.

Bull Run Store Columbia MO

This is for the store on Bull Run in Columbia MO. Ordered a sandwich & drink via the web app @ 2:06PM local. Delivery times in my area are usually 15-30 minutes, sometimes longer. An hour passed. I carefully checked my front porch, no order. Gave it ten more minutes. Checked the porch again, no order. Checked the order tracker. It showed delivered 30 minutes earlier. Checked the front porch again, nada.

Called the store. Employee answered the phone and began checking on the order. Asked if it was a Doordash order, I said I ordered via the app. Hold. Confirmed order again. Hold. Manager came on and said the order was delivered. I reiterated that it was not. Manager said her driver told her an older woman answered the door and took the order. I communicated how there was no "older woman" at this address and that I have been here all day by myself. Well, just me and my cats. The manager said she wasn't going to call her driver a liar. I said that's fine, but it wasn't a solution to the fact that I still have no sandwich or drink. Was basically told there was no solution since the driver left for the day and no delivery was possible before 5PM. I asked to speak to the manager. Manager laughed, said she was the general manager etc. I asked to speak to the owner. Manager said they weren't there. and hung up on me after I asked again for the order to be delivered. I may have used the phrase "just want the damn sandwich".

I don't like being even indirectly called a liar. I drove to the store and entered. I ordered the same food & drink. The general manager came over and told me I had a credit on my account. Then in a very condescending manner said she hoped I had a better day. I tried to explain that the account I order under always has a description of the house - brick 4 columns - on the ticket. I stated that I don't appreciate being called a liar, at which the manager walked away. She wasn't interested.

The other staff - as always - were extremely polite and helpful. One guy even looked me in the eye and said "sorry that happened." I thanked him, said again I just don't appreciate being called a liar, took my food and left. I then called corporate and registered a complaint.

I have ordered from this location for over ten years as I live close and the quality of the food is usually quite good. I have watched multiple managers and staff come and go. I tip when I can. I know how hard retail can be, having done it for decades myself.

I can't stand being called a liar by people that don't even know me. I didn't see any sign on the website that said "no deliveries between 3PM-5PM." I know the store hires Uber/Doordash when they have no drivers, as MANY orders get delivered that way.

This may seem like pettiness, but as much as food costs these days, I expect a little respect with the order, not argumentation and accusations, especially when it is obvious the staff has made an error.

Richmond Ind store has new owners

Richmond Ind store has new owners. Went today and they the new Gyro and cucumber salad. Absolutely awful. Cucumbers were less then fresh, the tzatziki sauce was basically plain Greek yogurt with zero seasoning. They forgot part of my order so I had to go back and they never apologized or anything. Won’t go back.

I worked for a Jimmy John's...

I worked for a Jimmy John's, the General Manager lady who was there for 8+ years was absolutely clueless. For the 5 months I worked there, once I was promoted in my final 2 months, pay only increased by $0.25 from $9.00 starting pay, but when I worked closing shift my pay only crept up to $10.00. I asked for raises several times, and questioned about the discrepancies in pay; I was NEVER shown the financial reports, even as an Assistant Manager. Then randomly, a few days before I quit, the GM (general manager) wanted my key back; so I handed it in, walked out, never went back.

However, besides from physically working there, I did enjoy good free meals every day, the subs are delicious. Only go there to eat; never work there unless the pay is COMPETITIVE!

Oh and I drove 30 minutes to work every day and got ZERO benefits.

First job luck. Heh.

VERY disappointed!

I got a free sandwich for my birthday so I ordered it and I clicked on extra mustard and extra pickles. I received it with four pickles and literally a tiny spot of mustard.

Jimmy John's 690W Quinn Pocatello,ID 83202

Worked under a General Manager of this store for 4 1/2 yrs even though I was going to stay a month being I was actually 64 and retired just to get out of the house and do to boredom. Never have I worked for under such a devotedly hard working individual who was obviously loved by not just her employees most everyone who knew her (Nichole). After quite some time approx 3 yrs the new franchise owner (Jake) seemed to be bullying her to turn things around that obviously would push business away that I now look back on knowing all to well he wanted her to fail so he could bring in someone else. Nichole had worked there over 15 years through different franchise owners making not only that store functional and successful but some others were also relying on her for products they couldn't manage to keep up with. This story can go on about the devotion and hard work for hours but, to sum this honest review up, the franchise owner can and will upend people's lives as he did to her when he wrote her up for fictitious untrue job performance twice in 3 weeks and fired her the following week. He's a corporate bully who needs held accountable for his unethical employment practices and the only way to stop these corrupt owners is to make it public. P. S. The whole crew quit that day for not wanting to bend the knee to corruption.

FOOD POISON AS A EMPLOYEE Section 303…

FOOD POISON AS A EMPLOYEE Section 303 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (the Act) provides penalties for persons who violate certain provisions of the Act. Section 303, paragraph (c) of the Act states that no person shall be subject to the penalties of subsection (a)(1) for having received, or proffered delivery of, adulterated or misbranded food additives if he has established a good faith guarantee from whom he received the articles. This paragraph was included in the 1958 amendments to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and remains the legal basis for the "letter of guaranty" supplied by many manufacturers to their clients. Title 21 CFR 7.12 Guaranty and Title 21 CFR 7.13 Suggested Forms of Guaranty, provide example language for such a letter of guarantee.

literally tasted like death

literally tasted like death. They didn't give me what i asked for, it was just bread and like 2 slices of salami. Felt like it permanently damaged my tastebuds. It took FOREVER to get here and was absolutely awful. I would never ever in a million years order or even think of ordering this place again. I hate Jimmy Johns.

If you are a fast foodie, it might be OK. Our cards were stacked against us because we eat at home for the most part and don't enjoy restaurant quality food.

Stale Bread

Visited Jimmy John's on Cross Timbers Rd. Our Order Taker "Tyler" was friendly & welcoming; hubby and I were disappointed. Our bread tasted somewhat stale, and the bread ends were hard. At that time of the day 5:30 PM, one would think they would have fresher bread cooked during dinner hours. My Pepe sandwich (ham & cheese w/vegetables) were OK, hubby said his toasted meat sandwich wasn't. Bread was even harder than mines! Disappointing experience for both of us.
