When James Walker’s father, Stuart, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, a tricycle was the best option for him to continue cycling. However, the market was limited, and the choices that did exist were outdated and expensive. Excellent service - highly recommended for adapted pedalling

Excellent service in the showroom, excellent delivery service, excellent assistance with technical queries after sales. My new electric tricycle adapted with a rom pedal meets my needs from a femoral nerve palsy. I used to really enjoy riding a bicycle but now cannot. So now hopefully many happy hours pedalling again.

QUALITY MACHINE

Right from the start I was impressed by The Jorvik Tricycle. Quality machine with great standards, the service we recieved was also great at the Southampton premises, a full and detailed introduction to the machine how it worked and all functions were explained. All in all a first class experience

Have been using an Elite e e20 Jorvik…

Have been using an Elite e e20 Jorvik tricycle for several months and what i immediately did not take to was the width of the rear. For weaving around obstacles (as i ride on pavement as well as on road),with its' width there would be restrictions in what i could by pass. Yes, the basket is of adequate depth and width but a less wider rear would also help the trike look better. Once i had started riding and used PAS 1, the force was of a spurting forward - not gentle and gradual power but sudden, after maybe a 1/4 turn of the pedal, which i was not prepared for but fortuneately i rode it cautiously and with awareness.
These are the only areas relevant to point out regarding first impressions of this trike.
There are other factors of the trike that i have written to Jorvik about, but for a review, the latter point should be helpful.

Personal service above all

Personal service above all, from the people actually doing the job, sounds much better than having it done at home by an independent 'agent', and making the double journey, to bring and collect the etrike, worthwhile.

I am very happy with my trike

I am very happy with my trike. It did take 3mths to arrive and then I had to wait a further 3 days for the rom pedals to be able to ride it which could have been delivered at any point within the last 3mths. Felt email communication was a bit slow with generally having to wait for 2-3 days for a reply and chasing up emails.
However like I said the trike is great and the help James gave us with videos and calls to help with setting up the pedals etc was first class. Absolutely loved my first ride if not a tad scary, she goes fast!!
Build quality is fantastic, shes very sturdy.

Having arrived at the Jorvik…

Having arrived at the Jorvik Southampton showroom apprehensive about whether I could control an electric trike and not be a danger on the roads, I was reassured by Terry who gave calm and helpful advice and got me riding. He has great experience of all things bike and cyclist and was able to work out which trike would suit me best. They have an impressive range of e-trikes there to try out on a well setup safe indoor track, so it’s perfect for getting that absolutely vital opportunity to ‘try before you buy’ - and quite fun too. Outstanding service

Outstanding service. Knowledgeable staff and super helpful. Placed an order on a Saturday afternoon and my tricycle arrived the following Thursday. Amazing.
Extremely well packed in a very strong box attached to a wooden pallet. Delivery drivers very careful and placed it in my front garden. Unboxed and assembled in less than and hour! Thank you to the team at Jorvik Tricycles for making the whole experience so pleasurable.

Very good staff when Gary tried the freedom…

The staff when Gary tried the freedom were very good payments got a bit mixed up and delivery time could be more detailed ie you will have it in thee days and not the date it leaves jorvok
