First Experience with JoyBuy. Fast Delivery and Great Prices

This was my very first purchase with JoyBuy. I hesitated at first, as I was a bit skeptical about trying a new service/app.

Eventually, I decided to give it a chance, and I was genuinely impressed by how efficient everything was. I placed my order late in the evening, and it arrived the next morning. That’s seriously fast.

Just to be clear, I’m not affiliated with JoyBuy in any way, this is an honest, personal review.

The range of products available is huge. You can find almost anything, including food and even frozen items (which I haven’t tried yet, but I definitely will soon).

Before ordering, I compared prices with the Albert Heijn website, and in every case, JoyBuy offered a better deal on the same items.

I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

Overall

Overall, my purchase experience was quite good, and the product itself met my expectations. However, there is still clear room for improvement when it comes to customer service.

The installation service was presented as a €99 service offered for free, so I naturally assumed that everything required for installation would be included. However, there was no clear reminder on the product page that a mounting bracket needed to be purchased separately.

When I contacted customer service, instead of investigating the issue, the agent sent me a screenshot implying that such a reminder existed — which made me feel as though my concern was not being taken seriously. I then went back to the product page, took screenshots myself, and even offered to provide a screen recording to show that no such information was displayed.

Despite this, the agent responded by suggesting that I might have been viewing an “old version” of the page. This was quite frustrating — if an outdated or inconsistent version exists, it is the company’s responsibility to address it, rather than placing the burden on the customer.

Only after I mentioned leaving a review did they agree to provide a free delivery coupon as a workaround.

In the end, the issue was partially resolved, and I appreciate the eventual effort to offer a solution. However, the initial handling and communication could have been much more customer-focused. I hope the company can improve both the clarity of its product information and the professionalism of its support team.

Update: In response to the company’s reply, I would like to clarify that my order has already been verified by Trustpilot.

The issue is not just about locating the order, but about the quality of the customer service I received. I was not advised on which mounting bracket to purchase and had to choose one myself. As a result, the screws did not fit, and the installation could not be completed as planned.

In addition, the installation appointment was only arranged appropriately after I pointed out that the bracket might arrive later than the installer. This possibility was not considered by your support team, which caused further inconvenience.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers can receive clearer guidance and more professional support.

I have records of the communication and can provide screenshots if needed.
