Been told buying your first house is exciting. The people that say that didnt use J S Law.
Was recommended to use them by estate agent and mortgage adviser. I had issues proving who I am so contacted solicitor, didnt answer the phone, didnt answer emails or respond to answer phone messages. Spoke to mortgage adviser and then got a call from my solicitor who didnt introduced himself them laughed down the phone like it was a joke. Then got a different solicitor and still things didnt get better.

Bryony took care of our home purchase and was absolutely incredible from start to finish. As a first time buyer, Bryony explained the process in the detail and was always so efficient and quick at responding to my emails. I have never experience service like this where Bryony would almost always respond back to my emails within minutes. The E-Way portal which is used to upload documents is fantastic. It is fast, professional and keeps everything all in one place. We was recommended JS Law from our Mortgage Broker, and at first I was sceptical as I wanted a high street solicitor that I could speak with face to face, however, JS Law went over and above everything, and I am so grateful that we went with an online conveyancer now as I truly believe it made the whole process so much quicker. Me and my partner were first time buyers and Irfaan was really good throughout the whole process. He communicated efficiently when needed so we were kept in the loop with updates. We had a few hiccups on the way but everyone was kept on the same page and knew how to handle the situation.

I been first time buyer and I had luck to have a professional solicitor Ross Orton. He explained me very detailed what I should to do and if I forgot about something he kindly reminded me. Everything went smoothly, understandable and in time.

Where do I start. Specifically, our conveyancer, Halima has been outstanding throughout the entire process. I couldn’t recommend JS Law enough. Very impressed with Chloe at JS Law for her personal touch and accurate work. We had a super-long wait for other properties on the chain to get themselves sorted out but Chloe was supportive, efficient and shared our delight when we finally exchanged.

I have used them for buying and selling and frankly their customer service is appalling.

They 'didn't receive' several emails from me despite using their online portal. The 'didn't receive' emails from other solicitors.

They dont answer the phone or reply to voice messages.

They dont reply to emails.

I would not use again.

Alistair Powell handled our sale which became complex and prolonged. Throughout the process Alistair was prompt and helpful in dealing with the queries raised and handled the whole sale process efficiently.
The JS Law portal was a helpful way of dealing with the process as it enabled us to deal promptly with requests while travelling and at a time convenient to us.

JS Law was recommended to us via our estate agent and cannot recommend Emma our conveyancer enough! She has been fantastic. We loved having the online dashboard to see the progress of sale and purchase and found it all pretty easy to use. Emma has been brilliant though, we worked with her over 18 months in the end as we had 3 property chains fall through. Finally the 4th property we got there and Emma worked so hard to get it over the line and everything done so quickly. She has been so kind and always happy to answer any questions. Cannot recommend Emma enough, thank you!
