Excellent service and product!

I purchased the Greenis slow juicer F9007 and it's amazing. I was looking for a slow juicer with added extras to make eg smoothie, frozen dessert , tofu etc and this product surely delivers on that. The cheapest I could find for what I wanted was around the £200 mark but after much research I came across this one. The only draw back from the ones I was looking at is that you can't add the whole fruit and veg but with the massive saving I made I don't mind chopping the food.

Dangerous toxic misformed plastic parts

I Purchased some replacement parts for my juicer , on arrival i noticed that there was plastic molding flaking from the sieve. When i contacted Juiceland Ltd about this they said "this is normal we have been supplying them like this for over a decade" insinuating i am being fussy when in fact its very dangerous as they can flake of into the juice and you end up with plastic particles in your body , not good considering the nature of the product! Juiceland Ltd offered me no apology as i would have to to take more time from work to facilitate a further delivery , very condescending in communications and very slow with the return process, go elsewhere is my advice if your reading this ....

Marvellous......and fast delivery

Bought an Omega juicer which I received in Ireland 2 days later. The free juice recipe book is excellent and so far the juicer has made some lovely tasting healthy green drinks and is easy to clean. *****

very helpful and friendly company

I ordered a strainer and bowl for my Hurom HU400 - and they arrived very quickly. Sadly though, the bowl didn't fit my juicer, but John was very helpful on live chat - he answered all my queries and he organised the return of the juicer bowl and he's sorting out the refund. Customer services at Juiceland is spot on. *Recommended*

Fantastic service.

I broke the auger on my juicer on 22/12 at 3pm - I ordered a new one not expecting delivery until January as they are closed from 5pm on this day until January 4th. A lovely person processed the order immediately and it was delivered 23/12 at 11am. Wonderful that someone took the trouble to do that. Thank you all at JuiceLand.

JUICE LAND BUYERS BEWARE!!! Horrendous, Unethical, Stressful TRAP!

Do not buy from this company.

QUESTION: How can you tell a broken juicer screen / part has been broken due to misuse or overloading rather than is of bad quality? Who gets to say this?
ANSWER: You can not show this because products break all the time from being bad quality, unsatisfactory, not worth the money or even "faulty". Also you as a customer are the expert in how you used the juicer, NOT the retailer who 1) was not there when you used it 2) has no knowledge about how the juicer broke 3) how it was treated after it was broken 4) has an INVESTED INTEREST in causing you it broke this way to save money from the manufacturer.

Many customers are having the exact same experience. They are not taking feedback onboard. Nor are they hearing that their products are not satisfactory and are displacing their responsibility onto customers by claiming that they are misusing their products. This is the equivalent of saying your new and expensive TV has broken through actually watching it. There is absolutely no way of ascertaining how a juicer has broken. Infant the only evidence is that many customers are having the exact same experiences. Try not to get into battle with the company as they have extraordinarily bad customer service.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS:
Sale Of Goods Act 1979 chapter 54 under section 13 ‘sale by description’.
The goods must be:
• as described
• of satisfactory quality
• fit for purpose
• Last a reasonable length of time

Consumer Rights Act 2015:
The quality of goods includes their state and condition; and the following aspects (among others) are in appropriate cases aspects of the quality of goods—
(a) fitness for all the purposes for which goods of that kind are usually supplied;
(d) safety;
(e) durability.
If the consumer requires the trader to repair or replace the goods, the trader must—
(a) do so within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to the consumer, and
(b) bear any necessary costs incurred in doing so (including in particular the cost of any labour, materials or postage).

Take a look at their guarantees closely before buying anything from them and be sure to check the small print.

They claim that you use the juicer incorrectly by overloading it and yet have no evidence whatsoever to prove this other than claiming to be involved in the process of making the juicers.

Perhaps if they actually ALTER the user manuals then this would change things. Stand by your rights and do not get fooled by their accusations and patronising responses. The company wouldn't even speak to be by telephone which tells you that they are very defensive and assume we all can afford internet and computers.

They are obviously under pressure and losing money from manufactures. However this does not excuse that it is their responsibility to make it better in a reasonable amont of time. Unfortunately we have had a very stressful ordeal with this company. Not what you want when you are buying a product for better wellbeing!

Also just to note that you are entitled to report the comapny to trading standards which is what we are in the process of doing and we have taken screenshots of all of the posts on this website so many thanks to those who have posted similar experiences!

The customer first reported a problem with the juicer which in our opinion could only be explained by insufficient cleaning, this is from our own experience and the mechanics of how the machine works. We are the official repair centre for this product and other brands of similar products. At no point was the customer refused help, they were offered advice on how to use it correctly and the matter was immediately escalated to a manager once an official complaint was made. We refute any major inconvenience as the only delays were caused by the customers refusal to allow us to follow procedure. After the complaint was escalated to a manager, they were given parts without charge and were not presented with any additional costs. Eventually, the customer was refunded in full which was nine months after they originally purchased the machine.

Initially, warranty was refused as we thought it was user error. We insisted if they were claiming a fault then we need to inspect it and offered to collect it back. They refused inspection and were quite categorical that we could not get it back and demanded replacement parts. We asked for specific pictures instead - they sent tiny images which we could not discern any details, even though they had sent large images earlier. To save further argument we sent replacement parts as a gesture of goodwill but completely against our better judgement.

Some months later the customer reports the same problem. Again they refuse us to inspect it but relented when we refused to send parts this time. The machine was then collected back by us - the customer packed it all loose in an ill-fitting box with inadequate packaging which was subsequently damaged by the courier. Despite this and the fact that we could not claim for damage due to insufficient packaging – the customer was refunded in full which was 9 months after they originally purchased it.

Since then, they have set up fake accounts to leave multiple negative feedback which have subsequently been reported and removed. They also copy and paste feedback from other reviews to use in this one which is completely irrelevant to this particular situation.

We refused to speak to the customer over the phone and asked that all further communication be made in writing, this was due to the way they spoke to a female colleague which she found quite disturbing.

We respect every customers points of view and admit that we do make mistakes but we feel the small majority of negative feedback we have received – especially on Trustpilot is not indicative of our company in general. We sell on eBay and have a 99.9% positive feedback profile with nearly 13,000 reviews and also 100% positive feedback from over 3,500 reviews on Amazon. We simply refuse to pay Trustpilot several hundred pounds per month so we can have these negative reviews removed like other sellers do.

Spare part for Champion Juicer

I recently needed a replacement part for my Champion Juicer, which I have had for years.

I was extremely impressed with both the price (far cheaper than elsewhere on the internet) and speed of service. It really was excellent.

Spiralizer

Ordered this gadget after reading about it in Prima. There are lots of other available, but this one is sturdy and well able to cope with the challenge of harder vegetables. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and everything fits into it for storage. The service from Juiceland was brilliant, sent me texts when it was on the way, willing to leave in a secure place if I wasn't in, and even gave me the delivery time within an hour so I didn't have to stay in all day.
Brilliant product, brillliant service, great company to deal with.

Angel Juicer

Free book that came with the Angel promotes Cane Sugar.;

I'm sorry but how can you sell a product of health and give away a book promoting Cane Sugar?

Spoke with them on the phone and was NOT offered any alternative, you know who you are, you had a chance to offer me another, i just spent £800 with you and the free book is now in the bin. Hope you offer other customers a better one.

Hello Mr. Benson,

Apologies but the person you spoke with on the phone is a trainee and as yet does not have authority to offer replacement items but he did bring it to my attention and I did get a copy of the book to take a look at at my first opportunity. This was less than an hour ago.

The book we give away for free with all juicers is a very comprehensive one and includes hundreds of recipes covering many different varieties of drinks, not just healthy juices. I was surprised to see that they have recently changed the layout, originally there were different sections for different drinks including cocktails but they were clearly separated among the different types which meant you could completely skip sections that were not relevant. Unfortunately, they are now all amalgamated together which isn't such a great idea and we will be seeking an alternative title to replace this one now you have brought this to our attention.

We are always happy to change the title of the book to the customers preference as we appreciate that not all books will be suitable for every customer, unfortunately the trainee had no-one to refer to at the time as from 4pm today both managers were in a meeting but as I mentioned, he did bring it to my attention as soon as possible.

If you would like to contact us again and ask for myself, I will organise a replacement for you.

Kind Regards

John

Dont buy from this company

Clearly there is a good reason why this company only scores 3 stars. I bought a juicer from them with a 5 yr warranty. Except when the item went wrong within the warranty period they wanted me to cover the postage for the faulty item. Hardly worth it when the item was only around £90 in the first place and aprox 3.5 yrs old. Do yourself a favour and buy from somewhere like Amazon with there "no quibble" return policy. Ive no doubt the company will reply with some plausible explanation but the fact remains: their product didn't last the 5 yrs, yet i'm expected to pay for the privilege of returning it. What nonsense and in this day and age there are far better companies to buy from. Don't waste your money when for a few pounds more you can buy from a quality company.

Hello Scott,

We are sorry that you feel this way. It is common practice that shipping costs are paid by the buyer to return the product for warranty repair, returning the item back to you after repair is covered by us. More so, it is included in our terms and conditions of sale.

Juiceland fully comply with the Sales of Goods Act and if a fault develops with 6 months of purchase, we cover the costs of returning products to us or the repair centre during this period, this is also outlined in our terms and condition.

As you have had this product for 3 and a half years, it is correct that you would be expected to cover return costs which can be done for around £10.00.

You will find Amazons return policy states the item cannot be returned to them after 30 days and you have to deal with the manufacturer directly http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200680110.

If you would like more information on a cost effective return, please contact our office.

Kind Regards

Don't believe everything they say...

I was buying one of the Hurom slow juicers. Once I made the order they were quite helpful, I've got the order in a timely manner, the product works as expected and everything looked great.

However, as I'm not a UK citizen, I was asking whether they operate a tax-free scheme, which will enable me to get the VAT back. They were asking me to request a VAT reclaim form and so I did.
The tax-free shopping was the major reason why I bought from them, as it made this reservation cheaper than in other places.

Once I contacted them again to check why I haven't got a refund, they had the following weird (not to mention outrageous) answers:
1. We wrongly issued the form
2. You are not eligible for the shoppers refund as you made the reservation online
3. Hurom HH2 juicers are not available in any UK high street stores (meaning, they THINK I can't get it in a cheaper way)

I would expect from a shop to know the rules, or, in the worst case scenario, to tell the customer: we are not familiar with the tax rules, it's under your responsibility to check etc. How come suddenly, when they need to return some money, it became impossible?!

Once you promise the customer something, even if it was a mistake, you should stand behind what you say and compensate him in one way or the other. that's how a customer service works. at least in all places, except Juiceland.

Hello,

We apologise if there has been any confusion.

Firstly, let us clarify that your VAT reclaim was returned to us by Her Majestys Customs & Excise with a notice that the VAT refund had been refused. The attached letter said that you had not left the country in time to make a claim.

We have been issuing VAT Reclaim forms and refunds since 2004 without problem, the forms are sent to us by HMRC and we are registered as an online retailer with them.

The notice we received from HMRC (with your rejected claim) was bringing to our attention new rules with regards VAT refunds and online retailers. That this was no longer allowed as the claimant has to be present at the time of ordering, ie. you have to purchase it in a physical shop so they can check your visa/passport for eligibility. You can check the current rules at the UK Government website here https://www.gov.uk/vat-consumers/taxfree-shopping.

Unfortunately, as the refund relates to VAT, we are simply not able to refund this amount - this has already been paid by us to HMRC. They make the final decision on refunds. We do not make promises to refund VAT, we simply issue the forms which are provided to us by HMRC.

We apologise that your claim was unsuccessful. We would also like to clarify that VAT is paid by the customer, the retailer is just a tax collector on behalf of the government. Juiceland have not profited from not refunding your VAT.

Great service, amazing product

I needed a new juicer as the £200 juicer I had bought from Argos, broke and motor broke (on 2 machines!!)

I looked into the Hurom juicers, and was weary of the price and benefit. However I spoke with a lady from Juiceland who answered all my questions and gave loads of great advice.

Since purchasing a Hurom juicer, I can genuinly say that whilst it is a lot of money, its worth every penny. Quality juice, quickly and efficiently. The motor is really quiet, and not the screamingly loud standard juicer motors. Cleaning is also not a chore as you can pre-swill the machine with plain water, before it goes in the sink for a proper wash.

If you are looking for a juicer then I can recommend both the Hurom and Juiceland.

Happy Shopper

Purchased a Hurom HH2 juicer last month and I am now juicing every day. Received invaluable advice over the phone over several phone calls during a 2 week period whilst I deliberated which juicer to buy - as it was a big investment in both my health and my purse!
