We recently used Julian Bland Ltd for a boiler service after we were given a recommendation. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the level of professionalism and courtesy shown by the engineer that showed up; when I stated that I could occasionally smell a waft of gas he went out of his way to identify and fix a minor leak. Trustworthy, efficient with competitive rates - I would not hesitate to use JBL again.

Had a service on the oil boiler they installed year before. Just as with the install the service was great turning up on time and polite and helpful. Will continue to use them as the service is super.

We have just had this year’s service carried out. The engineer arrived at the promised time and carried out the service efficiently. Our heating system was checked and the boiler cleaned. I cannot honestly find even a small issue to complain about.

My boiler completely stopped working a day a go, leaving us with no hot water at all! I booked online with Julian Bland and was surprised to receive a confirmation email shortly afterwards stating when I could expect the engineer to arrive (had many no shows). The next day the engineer arrived on time and was quick to find the issue with the boiler, showing me the problem, so I was clear on the work needed. The engineer was very professional and was able repair the issue for us and our boiler has never worked as well as it does now. Excellent service, brilliant company.

Really impressed with all aspects of this company. The communication was excellent (particularly love the tracking so you can see exactly where the engineer is and how long it will be until they arrive). The service was wonderful - very clean, polite and knowledgeable engineers. The price was very competitive. I would highly recommend.

Having recently moved to the area, I was dreading having to find a new plumber that I could trust however I needn't have worried.

The plumber that came was polite, professional, happy to explain why my issue occurred and how he would fix it. He did a fantastic job with no mess and the pipe looks straighter and better quality than what was there before.

I would have no concerns with recommending this company to anyone looking for a plumber in the area.

We bought the oil boiler from JB Bland year last May 2022 was due for yearly service, Mr Bland sent one of his engineers out to do the service, came on time was very polite and tidy and cleaned up after the service, we will most probaley use JB Bland again next year, our last boiler lasted us over 25 years so if this boiler being the same make last`s as long we will be happy Thanks

Excellent service from start to finish. I contacted Danny after my 83 year old father in law told us his boiler hadn't been working for over 4 days. Danny was quick to provide a quote for a suitable replacement and date for it to be done. We quickly accepted the quote and got a further email confirming the booking. We got a reminder closer the time and another on the day of the appointment to confirm the name of the fitter, and expected time of arrival. The work was carried out efficiently and neatly and in accordance with the quoted price. I have a very happy father in law, and by default a happy wife.

The job was replacing a 48 year old boiler (yes, really) with a new Worcester Bosch. The old boiler of course had 48 year old plumbing, flues etc, all of which had to be dismantled and removed before the new boiler could be installed. It was a two day job and was excellently done. The two men from Julian Bland (Carl and Jack) were a pleasure to have in the house and both the kitchen and utility room were left spotless when they left. (Boiler works a treat btw!)
