Customer Service is terrible, very un helpful was told to complain if the food comes and is cold , noone came . called up and the attitude on the customer service support rep and could not even deal with the compliant , told that they can refund 7 days and still no food , no chance to re order and then the driver said he was there i was outside the door while he was telling me this , this is the same driver that smokes weed driving around and eating the food , I have seen this across alot of the drivers . I think this whole thing is a scam and would never use this service again . 4 out of the last 6 orders this has happended and the way i was spoken to is shocking.

It would be far better if you could read other people's reviews of takeaways like previously

They adopted the same model as Deliveroo—with rock-bottom delivery fees and a system that doesn't allow drivers to decline orders. I hope that when the next major crisis hits, both they and Deliveroo go out of business!

Good app but the price add on is crazy nearly double what it used to be should look after old customers

€50 gift card says to go to a link as printed on the card, I can't quote it here. Went to the page, and there is NOTHING mentioned on the page that came up about gift cards, no details, nothing in any menus, absolutely ZERO, so working out how to actually use the gift is proving to be a bit of a nightmare, and the comments on the trust pilot page are not encouraging. You don't get a second chance to create a first impression!

The added bonus offers are a welcome addition all in all Just eat is great for when you're just not in that cooking mood.

Don’t use this app, it has got progressively worse over the past year. I put an order through and I hit pay I realise my office address was on it instead of home address, instantly tried to amend it… not allowed, instantly contacted Just Rat said the couldn’t fix it, contacted restaurant who took written instruction, gave to courier but he refused to deliver. Deleting app, was a top customer! Still nothing from their service team dispute contacted them over 5 times!

Very bad service. Attending the lodges at the back of cancer hospital rathgar. Did not deliver the food to the address. When rang just eat headquarters they said they had delivered to the hospital but refunded said it will be in my account in 5 to 10 days. No money for ten days no food. Went to the hospital to check and it was not delivered to the hospital so they lied. Were given my phone number but did not ring me to tell me they got the delivery wrong

Worst customer service I have ever encountered.

I had a very disappointing experience with Just Eat that has completely put me off using the platform again.
I placed an order worth £77.44 which was never delivered. Three of us waited outside the delivery location for over 90 minutes beyond the expected time, provided contact details to reception, and even attempted to contact the restaurant multiple times. Despite taking all reasonable steps to receive the order, no delivery ever arrived and no driver attempted to contact us.
Just Eat later claimed the order was “delivered” based on their tracking system. However, neither myself nor anyone in my group received the food. If it was delivered, it was clearly delivered to the wrong person or location.
What was most frustrating was the customer service. I sent multiple detailed emails clearly explaining the situation, but every response was a generic template that ignored the points raised. In some cases, responses were sent almost immediately after long emails, making it clear that the contents were not properly reviewed.
I also raised a formal complaint about how my case was being handled, but this was completely ignored. Instead, they repeatedly stated that their decision was final and refused to offer any explanation beyond referencing their tracking system.
To make matters worse, Just Eat’s own policy states that customers can claim refunds for “order not delivered,” yet they refused to apply this in my case.
Overall, I was charged £77.44 for food I never received, and the company showed no willingness to properly investigate or take responsibility. Very poor service and extremely disappointing handling of a legitimate issue.

The food arrived stone cold and was inedible and there’s never any way of addressing it with just Eat

Super cold food , ordered at 12 and didn’t come until 2:50am , and called the customer support line , first time ordering from this and wasn’t a great experience at all!!! Don’t order from here , cause if your foods cold or damaged you won’t get a refund. Called them asking for a refund immediately cause we had to throw away the food!! Cause of how cold it was and didn’t have a microwave so we needed hot food. Didn’t expect it to be cold and no refund at all. Absolutely MENTAL , don’t order from here.

Ordered McDonalds at 12:50 ish and didn’t bet my order till 2:30 am ! By the time we got it the food didn’t have even a little bit of heat left it was ice cold !! Had to throw it out !! Tried to request refund on app but it was off so we called and they said they were closed … called next day and submitted refund request and were told we requested to many times therefore they won’t be giving the refund. This is the 1st time ever ordering on this app as we are in Ireland for 10 days visiting !! They refused to give us a refund 20.00 euros is almost $40.00 Canadian for the food we couldn’t eat cause the drive took 90 min to get it to us !! Ridiculous!! I’ll never use this company again !!

Clearly just eat doesn’t work in Dublin.

Two separate orders in one night had to be cancelled as wait times went from
13 to 25 minutes to in the end over two hours from delivery estimate. Same with other people in the hotel. And these are restaurants in less than 10 minute cycle from the restaurant.i won’t use again… clearly they don’t have enough delivery drivers.

Bought a pack of crisps from hotel vending machine & cancelled orders. Both restaurants went from midnight delivery to past 3am expected delivery. Clearly none were ever arriving.

Ordered food from a restaurant. The restaurant was actually closed at the time and shouldn't have processed my order. Didn't receive it but because the business said it was delivered, just eat don't bother to look into it. Sent them proof of me calling the restaurant with no response and other reviews with exactly the same thing happen to them. I will not be using the app again nor recommending. Awful customer service

They forgot my chips now I’m starving. Very upset. All I wanted was McDonnell’s chips. I had to eat my burger without chips, very unpleasant meal. I’m so sad :(

On multiple occasions they have said they delivered to my address when they actually haven't at all. I went to another neighbor to see it was delivered there and it wasn't. So essentially Just Eat are pretending people's food is being delivered when it isn't at all. I was sitting watching the door and no one arrived. When I asked for a refund before they never gave me one. So essentially they are robbing from people.

Do not order anything off of these clowns. The delivery drivers lying saying they left food at the door . No such thing the gobshite took food with him …

I ordered buffalo chicken wings delivered. Total was about €15.

The delivery was just dry chicken wings with no sauce. I applied for a refund and they tried to refund me only €2 for the buffalo sauce. In other words they tried to charge me €13 to have dry chicken wings delivered, as if that was reasonable.

Horrible service. Absolute joke.
