This started out out as a really good…

This started out out as a really good company but something has gone dramatically wrong. We’ve been using the Giga grip Glove which is supposed to be there best palm but the fist pair started breaking down after a couple of games and eventually they got so bad we changed to HO UK which then lasted him months and months before the palm showed any signs of failure or even cracks! As the main man from J4K is a decent guy and has always gone out of his way to try and help I gave them the benefit of doubt and ordered this latest pair for the new campaign but unfortunately this glove after just 1 game started failing with bits missing on the palm. They asked us to return the glove which we did immediately this time and we’ve now been left with no gloves at all for over a week fortunately the Rep at HO soccer uk had come to the rescue now and provided my son with a quality set of gloves. Meanwhile J4K finally got back to us and have said the glove had been sent to a specialist for analysis! I’m sure it has. Very disappointed with this and feel massively let down by this company who I’ve supported with recommendations etc.. for over 3 years but sadly this will now be the end of the Road unless there’s a major turn around in the coming days maybe weeks hopefully not months but with a 2-3 day response time on any communication I’m not holding out much hope. My next email will be to trading standards.
So I’m now updating this review just over a month after posting it.J4K never returned my gloves or any emails so I ended up having to do a charge back through the bank to get my money back. My advice is steer clear of this cowboy outfit

Can't fault them in any way.

Having been nagged by my son to purchase on his behalf some gloves from J4K I did so without looking at the reviews on this site. Had I seen them I wouldn't have proceeded because I already had some misgivings based on nothing more than a gut feeling. However, placed the order on Friday and the gloves arrived the following Tuesday. Correct size and no issues at all. My son loves them and they are as described and seem good quality materials and construction. perhaps this company struggled during lockdown and the dreadful reviews are a result of that factor? I would recommend the company and would purchase again. PayPal as a payment option gave me some confidence that I would have redress if it all went wrong. Really can't fault them.

STAY CLEAR absolutely horrendous infact…

STAY CLEAR absolutely horrendous infact the worst customer service I have ever come across . Gloves split after a couple of uses so returned them. It's been 4 weeks and very little contact and I don't even no if they will return the gloves. Bunch of con artists will never recommend or purchase from the bunch of cowboys ever again

Used to be great gear, but they've given up. Zero customer service

I've been buying gear from these guys for about 7 years and the gloves have always been reasonable quality, the pants and jerseys were excellent.

They've obviously changed suppliers as the latest jersey has lasted about 1 month before falling apart, compared to about 2 years for the previous one!!

Email support is clearly outsourced and unable to provide useful information, and otherwise not responding to message via any channel. I suspect they've just given up now.

They could be ok for the camps but give the gear a wide birth.

The best

I don't know where to begin. What an amazing company! Not only are the quality of products 100% amazing but so is the the customer care. Ray and the team put so much into young goal keepers ,helping them achieve their dreams and ensuring they have the correct gloves for their needs. Always on hand for advice. We will forever be greatful for the amazing support you have given our son over these past few years. Would never buy another brand. Proud to wear J4k

Avoid unless you want an online 'Del boy and Rodney' experience. Shambolic set up.

Ordered gloves for sons birthday. They arrived personalised completely the wrong size. Product quality is pretty good and if the gloves you order arrive then happy days. But the time wasted when they make a mistake is not worth it. For an online company not to respond to emails (they don't have a phone number to call) is terrible.

Had problems a few years ago but gave them the benefit of the doubt. But it seems nothing has changed. They simply don't have anyone checking the emails from customers. Ordering is automated and fast but human errors are very very difficult to resolve. Not because the company are not reasonable at resolving issues because they are. It is simply the fact that they don't respond to emails or online return forms you fill in. Just seems to get ignored.

Also delete your comments on Facebook page requesting customer services to respond to you.

Think they need to rethink selling products until they can fix the customer service issues.

Update: Have now been contacted by email but am now going back and forth regarding the huge disparity in size. Imagine ordering size 6 shoes and getting an 8 or 9?

They also want me to pay for the return.

Update 2: 6 days further on and the company are so inept that they aren't even able to check size of their own stock. They aren't able to arrange a courier to collect or provide a returns label even though online selling requires them to do so.

Absolute market trader chancers selling products with no label of size or materials used or where the item was produced??

Imagine buying stuff on a Turkish Market?? Yeah it is just like that with the same level of customer care.

Total joke of a company.

The gloves quality non existent

The gloves quality are shi@t they're okay in the first days then they become like sh@t plus the latex is so thin it isn't a real 4mm latex so i say stick to your known decent brands like uhlsport or reusch you can find them on sales better than this

If I can give this company zero stars I would shambles of a company customer service is non exitent . Email after email 5 or 6 emails and Facebook. Constantly sending you emails updating Facebook page etc but can't even give you and update of my pre order gloves for my son. Pi@# poor company I had to purchase another pair of gloves from a more professional and reputable company. You can stick your gloves where the sun don't shine. Sorry I did receive 1 email back and told I will know within the hour more bulls@#€t.

Unacceptable Customer Service

As many have mentioned customer service is non existent. With no phone number available to speak to anyone, I sent numerous emails to 3 different gmail addresses plus left messages on FB. Finally received an immediate response after reporting and escalating a problem through PayPal. Thankfully I got my money back for the gloves I ordered for my son's Christmas present. The company did say my order showed up as 'failed payment' on their system hence no dispatch. I understand problems can occur however not responding to customers emails is not acceptable and caused a lot of stress having to rethink of an alternative 'wish list' present 2 days before Christmas. I will not be using this company again.

Non existent customer service

I had ordered new gloves for my 8yr old son on Tuesday via UK next working day delivery. It’s now Friday and we have yet to receive anything. I have yet to receive any tracking information regarding this. I have messaged on Facebook and was asked to send an email to the customer service team. I have sent 3 emails since Wednesday and have had no reply.
These guys were talked up so much online that I trusted them and their service. I feel like I’ve been let down massively.
I have no idea when I’ll get this product for my son. Gutted as he wanted to use them tomorrow for his match!!

Fantastic gloves

Fantastic gloves, the fit And quality is the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been goalkeeping for 15 years using other brands such as Nike, sondico, uhlsport. I received them faster than stated as well. Can not fault.

I use to wear J4K gloves then moved over to Nike, honestly, I do not why I swap just got my brand new pairs of gloves and they're brilliant! I would highly recommend this goalkeeping glove you won't be disappointed

Be aware

Be aware! Scam company don’t buy from them! We ordered they took the money and said stuff was delivered when it wasn’t! And had no intention what so ever neither to refund nor to resend the personalized 2 pairs! My kid was so disappointed! Worst customer service ever!

Really wouldn’t be getting any stars if…

Really wouldn’t be getting any stars if it would let me write the review without one! Ordered the rebounder net for pre order over 5 weeks ago, still have not received this and speaking to someone is beyond impossible. Still don’t know where my order is I have sent dozens of emails tried to communicate with someone through the Facebook page that having told them the situation tried putting me on a waiting list for goal keeper classes I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in these. Will never spend another penny through this company.

A complete shambles of a company. Don't bother as there are much better Goalkeeper Glove distributors on the market. Please be aware and dont waste your money! This whole matter is now with my solicitor.

Absolute shambles of a company

Absolute shambles of a company. I bought personalised gloves for my 7 year old and once arrived I noticed the surname was spelt wrong. How does that even get passed quality control, surely someone double checks something like this before posting them out? I then message the company via Facebook and was told not to worry as they could get them picked up next day and corrected. They took my address/phone number and said courier would be with me. Next day, however, no one arrived and I messaged again to update them and ask what happened. The reply this time was far more vague and less helpful as they said ‘let me check this for you’. A whole day went by and nothing else back from them. I then messaged again(another day had gone by and still no one picked the glove up. Another day later I get a reply and this time they tell me they don’t know who I’ve been speaking to? How do they not know, when all the messages have been on the same Facebook page. I was then asked(by supposedly someone different now) to send my whole Facebook conversation to an email address that they then gave me. I then did this with photos of the incorrect glove, screenshots of the whole conversation from day 1. Unbelievably I get a reply of just ‘ how can I help?’ WHAT THE ........, how can I help??!!!! The whole conversation has been screenshot to you with proof and your asking me how can I help, as if I’ve sent a blank email. I then reply, saying I’ve been asked to email and send screenshots etc. Another day passes and no reply. I then email again asking what’s going on and guess what, still no reply. I totally understand deliveries etc, arranging couriers may be a tad more difficult during this time but when you are updating Facebook daily and replying(very minimally) on email then there’s obviously nothing wrong with your internet connection and to just not reply is just plain ignorant. It’s been 6 days since they said the glove would be picked up and still it’s sitting in my house. I paid through PayPal so I’ve now been forced to just try and get my money back as I’ve given up on getting this sorted. As for the gloves quality, I couldn’t tell you as I haven’t even told my son they’ve arrived.

Excellent service

I ordered from J4Ksports.co.uk on the 12 Jan and they are the best gloves Iv ever had, the grip is brilliant I have two pairs of j4k Pro Hybrid ( 3g) and also a Supa Hybrid (gras) and they are lasting great, I had no idea that some gloves was not usable for Astro which they explain everything to me. there customer service is excellent from live chat to what’s app texting.

Poor poor Quality gloves even worse…

Poor poor Quality gloves even worse customer service.
Bought and received nice gloves however after one use on grass the latex cracked and started to flake.
Contacted them on facebook and was given an email address.
Emailed them got no reply. Messaged them on facebook again and was told the guy was off for personal reasons
Emailed again and again no reply.
3 weeks on still no response and the gloves have completely crumbled. There are crumbs of yellow latex all over my car.
Steer clear!!!!
