Marked 4 stars only because I think they are missing a trick with the types and content you could include in updates, or integrations beyond simple fitness apps provided. The platform itself is obviously flawless for the purpose of raising money for your chosen charity, no questions there at all. But the experience could be just a little bit better with more flexibility in content types you could share or embed on the main fundraising page, such as live tracking services from LocaToWeb for example.

Nice and easy site to setup but needs to be better
Nice and easy site to setup and use for charity events.
3 stars because of a few things, the ammount of emails is too much. Like Sending emails telling me how well im doing this week yet iv not had a donation in weeks.
But the other thing that grinds my gears a bit is the sneaky processing fees they try to put on the donation as you pay considering the site takes a bit of total donations anyway. This option should be on 0% to start and it be the donators option to add a tip NOT the site.

Great platform but too many messages
Just Giving is a great platform that enables charities to be able to publicise their fund-raising drives, but I found the constant bombardment of messages to re-post and to be able to gain various 'badges' a complete overkill. This could be cut down by 70 per cent, because too many of such messages is counterproductive.

Just Annoying!
I might have been partly to blame by opening up a Just Giving account. Not realising that Alzheimer's had already set one up for me and I expect that account didnt charge extortionate fees over15%. I should have been told that Ithey had set an account up for me.I was inundated with ridiculous emails telling me to share share share my just giving details. Plus emails telling me how well I was doing and very patronising emails encouraging me to get to the next level. All the emails were unnecessary. I am68 years old and don't need to be told topester people to sponsor me. I wont use Just Giving again

Fundraising with Justgiving
Once the account is set up all you need to do is copy the link and share with friends and family and on your social media platforms. Then update the page regularly so your donors know what’s happening.

Don’t like the way they charge for making a donation, £2 added to a £10 donation, 20% seems a lot.

Criticism
The only criticism I have is that when people donate they pay more than they wanted to donate, the higher the donation, the more they have to pay on top. It’s very misleading for them
