I’ve had a fantastic experience with Just Nice Clean Cars and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Booking in was quick and easy, and their communication throughout was excellent for both my MOT and full service.
The team are genuinely friendly and approachable, and they clearly explained all the results from the service, along with helpful advice. It really feels like they give honest, trustworthy guidance rather than trying to upsell anything unnecessary.
We’ve now used them for several MOTs and services, and even though we live about 25 minutes away, it’s absolutely worth the drive every time. Reliable, professional, and great customer service – highly recommended!

My car ultimately passed its MOT, but the overall experience caused significant and unnecessary stress, and I would not choose to use this garage again.
My vehicle failed its MOT on 17th February on relatively minor items. My MOT was due to expire just three days later. I completed the remedial work myself (new wipers fitted, headlights cleaned with a specialist product, dashcam removed) and informed the garage both in writing and in person. This meant that only headlight aim adjustment and parking brake checks remained.
Despite this, the car was not retested until the following Tuesday, with retests only carried out at around 4:30pm, which I was told in advance. While I understand this may be their process, no flexibility or urgency was shown given the impending MOT expiry and the fact that the work required was minimal.
During the wait, I was extremely anxious about my car being parked on the road without a valid MOT. What added to the frustration was overhearing phone conversations where new customers were being booked in for work the very next day, while MOT remedial work appeared to be deprioritised and left for over a week. This felt unfair, particularly as a failed MOT effectively leaves customers unable to legally use their vehicle if MOT has expired.
The delay had a real impact:
My son missed important swim squad training
Due to mobility issues, I was largely unable to leave the house
My son had to miss a day of school
On Tuesday morning, with no other option, I had to risk driving the car illegally to get him to school and attend a long-awaited GP appointment, despite not being booked to bring the car in until 1:30pm
This caused significant stress, anxiety, and worry
Communication throughout was poor. I was unable to get clear information on costs or progress, and when I asked reasonable questions, the attitude was dismissive. I was then required to wait until after 5pm on the day to collect my car.
Interestingly, once the MOT had passed and payment was due, the tone suddenly became friendly, which only highlighted how uncomfortable and stressful the earlier interactions had been. Having since read other Google reviews, it is also concerning to see that several women describe very similar experiences of condescending and dismissive communication, which suggests this may not be an isolated incident.
While the final invoice and mechanical work were reasonable, customer care, transparency, and empathy were lacking, particularly given the time-critical nature of an MOT failure.
I would not return, and I would advise others — especially parents or anyone with mobility issues — to consider whether this process and level of service meets their needs.

I had a MOT and service yesterday and couldn’t fault them. Friendly and explained the service inspection and what might need changing in the future I would definitely recommend

Worst garage service I have ever experienced. Instead of giving me a full service, they added more problems such as an oil leak and they broke my bonnet release handle. I thought I spent £200 for an efficient and high quality service but got the complete opposite and now I have to spend more money; now fixing my car handle release bonnet and clearing up the oil spill on my driveway. I believe that people make mistakes but this experience was just overall appalling. I would not recommend.
I had a leak on the drivers side high pressure power steering pipe, ford transit 2016.
As I was working on the area I thought I’d get sorted.
Got a call back, “hello sir, yes I’m afraid this won’t be cheap, we have to go direct to ford, and you need both sides doing”
I knew full well o/s was fine. I was given the BS sales pitch and told the two pipes would cost £730 (one pipe £315) 🤯🤣 plus 3 hours labour at £88 ph. So in total I was looking at a grand!!!!
I said no thanks I’ll go to my regular mechanic, bit more of a drive but wait till you see the difference.
Went and picked up my keys and noted the same BS sales pitch going on to other probably less clued up customers. Paid £44 for a 30 min inspection which told me what I already knew.
Anyway, 2 days later I had a new power steering pipe installed, £92 for the part, union £8.96 and labour £60 plus fluid grand total £172.85 so by my reckoning that’s a saving of around £827 🤣 this should be criminal. If it’s seems like a scam don’t be afraid to call it out and go else where. I’m sure some BS reply will be incoming! Ya Didn’t get me!!
It was an off chance that I first called at JNC to request an MOT for my Audi Q3, I had a unhelpful result from my previous MOT centre, JNC without any fuss took over my vehicle, perfect result and excellent service, I followed this with my wife's, mini cooper, again excellent service and friendly staff.
Over the past 3 - 4 weeks I have called in for work on our Mercedes B180 and JNC held that vehicle over a weekend to save my journey to collect it as the parts were not available until the Monday, it was first class to deal with JNC, the staff very helpful and explain in detail, result and requirements.
I have collected my 1989 Morgan after the MOT was completed this week, I was so pleased as to the way they looked after my concours treasure.
Thankyou to all at JNC, Simon in particular has been extremely helpful, I now know whatever the problem may be with any of my vehicles I can rely on them to help me out.
Regards and Thanks

I went here for the first time in October (a little late in posting my review) for a new thermostat.
I had great service and communication throughout, the work was carried out and car was ready the next day.
Due to that I booked in for MOT. Although it failed I still received great service and was kept informed at each stage, it was the quickest MOT I've had, wasn't kept waiting around and again the work was carried out and ready the next day.
I will be going back!!
I booked my car for a service and MOT with JNCC. The guys in reception were courteous and polite when I made the booking, likewise when the car was left. The work was carried out speedily and efficiently and returned to me by lunchtime, as requested. The cost was very reasonable nd I will certainly use JNCC in the future.
Great customer service. Video sent of a couple of issues found on my service, quoted for work before any work carried out.
Really happy, will be using from now on.
I took my car to them two days ago to repair a failed alternator. They told me they had to go for an alternator from "Lucas" that cost more than £500. Today, I got my car back and it works now (I give that credit), however, I paid more than £800 including an alternator costs more than £600 incl. VAT. I searched for such an alternator whose price is between £330-£480 incl. VAT and when I asked the receptionist to provide me with the component seller's receipt, he refused to do so.
Well informed and efficient work. Fixed faults straight away and very reasonable price.
Another great MOT experience from all at JNCC. I have been using them for 3 years now and feel very safe in their hands. Always reliable, punctual, friendly and thorough. I wouldn’t go anywhere else :)
Excellent service excellent team
Highly recommended for everyone
Very friendly team, would highly recommend them
Quoted 119 for service, pn payment added VAT, I am not trade, also asked for a tyre quote told him it was too expensive said go to Kwikfit! The mechanic was miserable as well.
Great mot last year will be returning again great service and easy booking and you can watch it on tv while it’s being done in a reception room

My car had its MOT and full service here. I asked Carl to specifically check the brakes and he assured me they were fine and passed the MOT. My knowledge of driving cars told me they were not fine so I booked it in with a free brake check through Halfords. They showed me the brakes were metal on metal and clearly should not have passed any MOT. Also, the subframe is completely rusted which again, leaves an unsafe car. Carl denies all knowledge and refuses to offer any kind of refund or compensation.
July 2021. My partner had recently passed her driving test and suddenly we needed to go from being a single car family to having a second car.
As we'd previously had a great car sold to us from JNCC, one that is still running just fine today in fact now 5 years on, I immediately took a look at their website and spotted a cheap red Peugeot 207, not a brand I'm usually a fan of but the price was right for what we could afford at that time.
Please do note, this was at the height of the pandemic and at the time when I'm sure car sales had probably dipped and were also having an impact on second hand car dealers. The Peugeot I purchased was priced cheaper than expected but looked good, started fine and I based my decision to buy it on the previous great customer service I'd had from JNCC. The car was quick, nippy, fun to drive and made it possible for us both to get to our respective work places without having to keep relying on one another, or others for lifts etc.
This was great for a few weeks but then the problems began. The Peugeot's sensors stated picking up issues, initially oil issues. Fortunately JNCC had put a 3 month warranty on the car at purchase so they had a new sensor fitted which seemed to resolve the issue for a while. Then in the weeks that followed the car kept breaking down culminating in a full computer malfunction with pretty much every issue you can think of. Further to these problems the car's brakes then also began binding making the car impossible to drive.
The car was constantly back and forth at the garage and at one stage upon a further breakdown JNCC even came out to my house as although the car would start it did not feel safe to drive it back to JNCC. So after some test driving around the local street they agreed and kindly took it back to their base again for more servicing to try to resolve the problem.
I got the car back and again for a short while it seemed OK but the final time I drove it the brakes began to bind again on the motorway. I somehow managed to labour the car back to JNCC at my wits end having had enough of it.
Now, as I mentioned earlier, I do believe the sale of this car was in part caused by what was available due to the pandemic. This was an older car than JNCC would typically sell and as a result I feel did not follow the company's usual business model. I think this car in a normal circumstance would have probably gone to auction.
Timing at this point was critical. The issues with the car had caused me enough stress those last couple of months and it just so happened the next time I was due to go into the office I was going for an interview for promotion at my company. I desperately needed a reliable car.
I walked into the showroom and even then unfortunately JNCC didn't have too much on offer. I saw a nice BMW for the expected price and also a little VW Up. I spoke to Mike and explained my dilemma and he was very understanding.
In the end we came to a deal on the VW with JNCC granting a discount taking into account the issues I'd had with the Peugeot and it's purchase price. JNCC serviced and MOT'd the VW and sorted everything out for me in time, and I'm very pleased to say it has not yet given me one issue some 9 months on.
The main thing I want to say is yes this company did make a bit of a blunder selling this Peugeot but they sure do know great customer service in turning around what was a complete disaster for myself and JNCC at the time. It might well have resulted in a different kind of review all together.
I know I can trust JNCC to do everything they can for their customers and would purchase another car from them in future.
Oh, and I got my promotion too!
Thanks again to Mike and all!
