Product ok. Experience poor.

We ordered a sofa from them on 30/10/22 with the promise of a quick delivery (1-2 weeks) and because they were priced very competitively vs some others.

Delivery took a little longer than promised, taking just under a month, but this isn't the end of the world as long as you're not working to a tight deadline.

We did try to call a few times to ask for an update. The first time we called, we got through, but after that we couldn't reach them at all, which did make us worry a bit. I think they're only a small outfit, so I think that's why.

The main issue was delivery. We had an email the day before to say that the delivery would take place and a two man team came to drop it off. They called when they were around 20 mins from our house. When they arrived, they knocked on the door and dropped the sofa at the front of the house whilst they took my signature.

I asked that they let me quickly look over everything, to make sure it was the right one, right colour etc and when I did, they literally legged it to the van and drove off!! At that point, I was really worried that it was either damaged, or totally the wrong model etc. It was really strange. They didn't speak much English, or perhaps just pretended not to, so ignored me as I was shouting to tell them to wait...

There was a very small tear (maybe 1-2 cm) right on the back corner of the sofa, which I could see through the packaging, so I was worrying a bit. But
after looking over the the rest of the sofa, the rest was fine, which was a big relief, after the experience with the delivery crew. Apart from that, it's actually a nice sofa and we saved a couple of hundred pounds vs some other sellers.

In summary, if you can afford to pay a little more and buy from a bigger chain, I would recommend doing so. If money is tight though and you're happy to risk minor defects etc then go for it. Just don't sign for anything until you've checked everything over.

Ordered furniture 6/11/22

Ordered furniture 6/11/22. Delivery date 25/11/22. Received text that morning to say it would be rescheduled. No correspondence since despite several messages to retailer and delivery company. WHERE IS MY FURNITURE?

Great Service!

Sofa arrived in good time from ordering! The customer service and delivery people were really nice. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Just s*it on it

This company used to be called crushed velvet furniture. The experience was somewhat confusing, the sofa arrived in good time but with a part missing. I rang the company and a man with a Brummie accent answered. He may be the most useless, uninformative, uncaring person ever to secure a job. He must know someone who works there as he couldn't even pass the salt at the dinner table, let alone pass a job interview. I was struck with answers like "don't know" "it's the warehouse responsibility not mine" "nope can't give you any information". The extra part did come two days after, which is great, however if this was explained by the man I wouldn't have had anxiety about being sold half a sofa for two days. Good delivery service, awful from just sit on its customer service team.
