My daughter was academically challenged and came out on top. The teachers really do care for the students and the students aren't just a number to them. ARVA staff will go out of their way to make sure your child has everything they need!!

Long story but I'll tell a short of it. My son didn't/couldn't do Algebra and Geometry. It seemed that he was forced into those. He has an IEP. Learning disability in math. He is use to basic math. Me and him was stressed out over it when I would try to help him. My daughter went to brick and mortar. She wasn't made to do Algebra or Geometry. She had an IEP at the time. She graduated in 2022 but still other students that has 504 or
IEP's shouldn't be forced to do that kind of math. He barely passed math to go to the 8th grade because of the situation!!

I love how the teachers work with each child in the way that is specific to them. They make sure each child is learning and understanding the information. If there is something they have trouble with, the teachers schedule extra sessions for one on one help and explanation to help them succeed!

The school is a great fit for my daughter. The laptops we had an issue with this past semester. We were calling tech daily almost for a couple of weeks. We kept getting laptops that didn't have a camera installed. And then we would get one in return and it would have something else as an issue. Not sure why we had so much laptop problems. Also, had an issue at times with teachers not responding to emails. If there is a way for 'out of office' to be turned on with who the student could get in contact with. That would help.
The laptop issues started in February and we had problems till at least April.

Mrs.Lenee Johnson made my son’s second grade school year absolutely wonderful! She was extremely organized, attentive and consistent with her class and teaching methods. I cannot say enough great things about her. She is a huge asset to ARVA and I hope she continues to be successful in her role!

What made my experience great with K12 is that they value my son who has autism and they respect his 504plan. The counselor and some teachers were very helpful and supportive.

Arva was great with handling my child's disability. They went above and beyond the call duty, even allowing her to be exempt from assignments when my child could not relate.

Our experience with with ARVA has been a wonderful one. The teachers were very involved and helpful. The teachers made sure you'll have a chance to pull a grade to an considerable average, without the worry of failing. If I had to do it all over with these same educator's, I'd most definitely do so.
