My son thrives with K12. He rarely misses school and when he does he’s able to watch the recording so he doesn’t get behind. I honestly feel like there more structure here. When they notice a problem it’s addressed much quicker. He feels safe with K12. They offer tons of social activities and encourage group work which is great for the social aspect. We love K12 in my home.

All the staff have always been extremely helpful and so kind. They have done so well with my daughter and we really have watched her flourish and come out of a shell through her K12 experiences. It has been a prayer answered, a true blessing. We would highly recommend TNVA to others.

TNVA teachers and all staff we have had contact with have been amazing. My daughter is going into 6th grade and she loves school. She has excelled beyond our expectations. The courses have been perfect for her. She has been able to sit through her sessions with breaks between classes so she doesn’t get antsy. She loves doing science experiments and loves Math. She is progressing in her reading quicker than we thought she would. She has a lot of friends who she talks with out of class and we are able to go and meet up with others. TNVA has made it possible for me to be a part of her learning. She loves helping others and is able to do that in class and to see her take responsibility of being in class on time and to pay attention and do her homework is amazing to me. I can’t thank TNVA enough for all they do for my daughter.

I dislike the attendance policy the part about the child being counted absent if they are 5 or 10 minutes late getting into class and we've been with k12 for 10 years and everything else is great

My grandson has more time to finish his work, the teachers are very support in his education and always pushes him to do his best, they also listen. They make learning fun and with me being disabled it works better for me and my grandson, I can help him more and keep an eye on what he is doing on his assignments.K12 is awesome

What made my experience great is being hands on with my children learning. K12 does lots of things right. They have great teachers and great support classes. The curriculum is great and I love that teachers are always available for help. My family and I love K12 because it gives us the freedom to choose a better education and learning environment for our children.

Giving my child the one on one learning experience. The fantastic teachers, the curriculum, the help she gets off she doesn’t understand. My child has anxiety with tests, the teachers understand and give her confidence. She loves school! The confidence is amazing, we live very rural, on top of a mountain no bus service 50 minutes to the nearest school. K-12 has been a God send to our family!

TNVA needs to make sure teachers are showing up to teach as scheduled. It's not the place of a parent to address the teacher about her attendance. When a teacher can link days off with long weekends, holidays and just call out sick, it's cheating the child out of an education. Missing 5 to 7 days a month seems extreme.

We absolutely LOVE K12 Virtual Academy! I wanted my children to be homeschooled, but wanted them to have a teacher to help teach them. My oldest daughter has been with K12 for 2 years during 3rd and 4th grade and my youngest daughter is in Kindergarten here this year. They love their teachers and the flexibility they have. It is a wonderful option for parents who want to homeschool, but have direction from an actual teacher.

The consistency of the school system!! The kids know when and where to get their work and we as parents have every means to see what our kids are working on and what the need help with! Mrs. Jennifer Roark is HANDS DOWN FANTASTIC, Ms. Wanda AMAZING, LOVING!! Ms. Kelly
Has the most CALMING personality that anyone student or parent!! All these people have made such a huge impact on our entire family!!! Also the fact that my son gets benchmarking often that I can access and see what he’s doing and his teacher doesn’t just tell me she EXPLAINS them to me. They care about about there kids and not overwhelm with too many kids so they have the time and the support from us parents to help make a difference in our kids lives!!

My son had exceptional teachers and a relevant curriculum that held him accountable by live sessions each day. I highly recommend. We loved the quarterly planned in person get togethers and online activities.

The amazing improvement in my son's math skills, and English Language Arts. The teaching is what makes it well to make sure we stay up to date. I would like to have more information on Levi's performance and also will I have to go with him for his TCAP in April?

I do not like that there is no flexibility with learning time being that this is an online academy for children. If a student is unable to attend during the scheduled time and the teacher is required to record the session, the student should be allowed to make up the class time by watching the recording.

My son struggles in school and always has but once he started at VSVA I have seen major improvements not with just his grades but his emotional wellbeing. He has had amazing teachers who have stepped up to make sure he is having the best experience he can possibly have.
