They are easy to work with and really do have my child’s best interest in mind. My child has struggled this year and her teachers have been phenomenal in keeping me informed and keeping my child engaged and productive.

There could be better communication, there are a lot of times I can't get in touch with teachers. There are also times I am not on emails for tbe outings and have to hear from other children's parents. I do enjoy that they have so many outings, just wish more were affordable for all families. The end of school year ones are out of our price range. That made our daughter very upset.

My granddaughter enjoys learning through K12. The teachers truly care about the students. They teach what the schools use to teach. The basics and not agendas that could hurt your children. WE LOVE K12 AND THE TEACHERS.

It depends on the individual, but the system works well. My daughter has become more attentive because she doesn’t have to deal with the typical social distractions of high school—such as gossip and constant socializing. As a result, she has more time for herself and for reading. One of the best aspects is that she can progress at her own pace.
The staff are always attentive, and I receive regular emails regarding her progress and any work she may have missed.

In comparison from last school year which was a good experience, TOPS school has dropped in quality. There has been a major platform change in what the students used for their online work that has been anything but a smooth transition. There isn’t a process in place when there is a teacher absence in order to continue the live scheduled classes, so students end up reviewing recorded material on their own. It’s just been a surge of technical errors, reduced live classes and platform changes that have taken its toll this school year.

I want to express my gratitude to TOPS! The teachers are dedicated and accessible, while the administration is both approachable and informative. We value the flexible scheduling and the wide availability of Honors, AP, and Career pathway classes. Additionally, the test sites for STAAR and AP exams are very convenient.
It would be very helpful if the SAT were also offered as a testing option. Furthermore, we would appreciate it if students were required to complete an entire lesson before being allowed to access the corresponding quiz or exam.

We have two girls registered to K12 and we love it! As long as you stay on top of emails and assignments its truly a great program! They communicate a ton through their platforms and we love the constant updates we get. I wish I would have done it sooner!

I would like to share some concerns regarding my experience with the K12 program. While it initially functioned well, several issues have arisen that have impacted the overall quality of the educational experience.
Teacher responsiveness has significantly declined, with limited interaction between teachers and students. Students are rarely encouraged to participate actively, and opportunities for self-expression are minimal. Additionally, some assignments have experienced extensive delays in grading—on one occasion, I waited nearly two months for feedback, which adversely affected my grade.
There have also been instances where teachers did not hold scheduled class sessions, sometimes for entire months, and frequent changes in teaching staff have created confusion and inconsistency. The overall tone from many teachers has tended to be negative. Furthermore, last-minute schedule changes have caused missed classes, and assignments given over weekends have added undue pressure and impacted grades.
While peer interaction among students has generally been acceptable, occasional use of inappropriate language has disrupted the learning environment.
Given these challenges, I believe the current structure and management of the program are not meeting the needs of students effectively. I hope this feedback can be used constructively to improve the educational experience.
Thank you for your attention to these matters.
