BEWARE! CLUSTERF#@K💩

Used this company to send an Audi Instrument Cluster to Actronics for repair as they are listed as a service centre.
Lady at reception seemed polite and professional.
Handed over the part Friday, 8.00 AM and was told it would be 5 working day turn around as the unit had to be sent away, repaired and couriered back.
Didn't hear anything at all for 7 days so called back to be told the unit was at Actronics but hadn't been looked at yet, but would call me when the unit had been inspected for repair options and pricing.
6 days later, called back again and receptionist told me would chase it up for me.
She called back same day and said I had 2 options, repair current unit at £169.99 with no warranty or have a replacement unit for £258.00 with 2 year warranty but would lose immobiliser feature.
I decided to have my unit repaired for £169.99 as it would have a full test when finished so if previous repairs were still OK after 3 years then they were durable ones and I would retain immobiliser security.
Receptionist called 2 days later and told me Actronics had found some more issues (fair enough) so unit was delayed and said she would call when they were invoiced for repair so I would know when it would be back which was handy.
Got a call from receptionist 2 days later (now 11 working days from day I left the unit with them) to inform me my Instrument Cluster was ready to collect 😀
Arrived at Kelly Clarke to be told repair price was £258.00 (never agreed to) so was confused, looked at unit and was the same one I had sent which I was pleased about as I would still retain the immobiliser.
I asked if this had warranty due to price to be told no, so I asked if there were any issues after unit was reinstalled could I bring it back to which they said no problem.
I didn't question the price, took it on the chin and paid up because I thought if I did they wouldn't let me have the unit back.
Reinstalled unit following provided workshop instructions and all appeared to be fine.
Had car off the road for a week, then took it to a reputable Automotive Tuning company a week later to replace a crankshaft sensor which had been causing running issues.
When collecting the car, mechanic informed me that temperature gauge was reading 20°C high even though sensor was reading 90°C and was a result of Instrument Cluster repair and advised me to send it back to get guage reset/adjusted.
Phoned and spoke directly to Kelly Clarke next day (should've emailed) and explained issue with a view to getting this either corrected locally or returned and readjusted.
He dismissively told there was no warranty and there was nothing he could do, so I asked if he could call Actronics for advise which he very reluctantly agreed to do.
Got a call back 15 minutes to be told he spoken to them and because the wiring was all OK there was nothing they could do and that was it. (BS💩)
Then got reminded that there was no warranty on the job, I pointed out that invoice had statement about 12 month, 12,000 mile parts and labour guarantee on repairs to which he dismissed as not meaning anything, then pointed out Consumer Rights Act 2015 to which he also dismissed which left me with only one option.
I followed this up with a call to Actronics who were more than happy and able to reset the gauge and asked me to send it back, I also informed them of the price change without permission.
Will now be sending this back through a garage I trust as I certainly don't trust this one now.
Not even worthy of one star due to dismissive attitude, lying and failing to adhere to Trading Standards.
Worst customer experience ever 🤬💩
