They answered the phone they took the time to talk with you about setting up a charity they gave me a rough price and they were very helpful l was quite surprised and l would certainly call them again

I spoke to Michael Horne today 16th/4/26 about an on going issue I have his advice was greatly appreciated as iam stuck in no man's land with the council iam more hopeful now of been able to deal with this subject thanks to his advice

I have been speaking to sarah haider and she has been amazing and extremely helpfull i havnt yet to proceed with the solicitor so havnt given any money of yet however always responds quickly and been great. The service has been good should i move forward i will definetly proceed with kidwells only reason i couldnt this time was due to one of the lenders not being on the board.

Rang up out of hours and spoke to Michael - their emergency operator - who kindly assisted us, and made sure we had the information we required to complete a house purchase. Very helpful indeed!

I'm unable to leave a review on Kidwell's website due to a technical issue; so I am doing that here. I spoke with Michael Horne (the firm's MD) who called me back immediately after the line cut. The advice he gave on a landlord-tenant matter was succinct and very useful. After getting the facts from me, he asked questions and he summarised his advice at the end. Michael was friendly, relatable and very professional throughout the call. I would definitely recommend him and Kidwells

I visited Kidwells solicitors today to complete an id1 form. After some time waiting in a waiting area, I was escorted by a very amiable assistant to there offices.
I was then greeted by an assistant Allan that claimed that I didn’t look British but Italian. The objective of the form that I was getting verified was my British nationality for British land registration.
I produced my British passport as verification but this wasn’t enough for Alan. He then requested my recent council tax bill which according to the form I was signing wasn’t required. I was then informed that this wasn’t valid as it wasn’t issued in the past 3 months.
Council tax bills are only issued annually.
The unfortunate attitude of this clerk created a very bad atmosphere between us.
If you choose this firm to conduct your business, prepare for a very belittling manner from some of the staff.

Honest opinion is please avoid. This firm are not competent with complex matters. Advising the very basics maybe, but look elsewhere if you need a professional service. The boss also has a shadey business past and big ego as seen in the tribunals. Kidwell's took advantage and fleeced my elderly Grandads estate after he suddenly died and charged exorbitant and disproportionate sum/costs for the privilege. Also please do some background checks first before committing to these crooks. A quick check on Google etc notes this firm was fined £60k and suspended for bullying and intimidating people. It's in the papers. If only we'd of known this at the time. Not recommended. ☹️

I found Kidwells to be very helpful and I was given clear advice about the next steps I need to take.

Today I had occasion to contact Michael Horne of Kidwells Solicitors(Bristol), as I was so incensed at receiving a debt collection notice for an offense committed at Bristol airport of stopping momentarily on red lines. Two parking charges were raised by the private company in charge of overseeing the airport. I was in dispute with the company and wrote two letters explaining the situation. I received a reply to one charge rejecting my reasons for non payment so I decided to pay this. However, I never received a reply for the second charge either confirming the charge or laying it aside. The debt collection agency when phoned, said a letter had been sent out via the Post Office, but we had never received this letter. We were told that until paid this debt would incur daily charges, at this point I contacted Kidwells.
Speaking about the offences in question Michael Horne was very helpful in explaining that under law , two offences had been committed and although we could proceed with fighting this in court, the costs if we were not successful would far outweigh the debt that had been incurred. He gave this advice freely and did not seek any recompense, and wished us well with our proceedings. For this, I thank him, and for the understanding way he treated our complaint. I would thoroughly recommend Kidwells, Bristol from our experience and will certainlyuse them if needed in the future.
