It was started with just the seeds of an idea. 2003 - in the humble surroundings of London's East End.
‘Streetwear’ as we know it, didn’t exist. Owning and starting a brand was reserved for corporations and the privileged few. Our aim – to change that. To create a British streetwear brand that set the standard and upheld the culture.
We had zero fashion knowledge and even less money. Our education came from underground UK music, design and skateboarding. The sacrifices were real, but the vision was always clear.
No days off; learning from scratch; hustling the sales; putting everything back into the brand; keeping things moving to pay the rent.
June 2003 – KING launched its first collection.
Our immersion in the culture led to collabs with emerging music artists of the time, including Plan B and Wretch32 as well as pioneering partnerships New Era and Starter, developing a global reputation as a leader in streetwear culture.
Since day one the brand has remained independently owned with the HQ still located in the manor, Stratford E15. From packing boxes in bedrooms, KING is now sold and distributed globally on five continents and online at king-apparel.com

The quality of the cap I bought was very poor for the price I thought I would get high quality , the material looks like it needs ironing to get it looking firm and the postage cost was very high.
Unfortunately the quality didn’t match the price.

Hi Sameer, sorry you're not happy with your purchase. We can assure you that our caps are made of the highest quality cotton twills - particularly the model that you purchased. Please remember that the cap is shipped folded to retain the integrity of the shape. Never iron the hat - The front panel is buckram lined and will never crease and the rear panels are designed as such to fit most head sizes and the fabric will mould once worn. This is the nature of the construction. Any superficial folds or lines will disappear.

Lovely clothes - no free return service for faulty goods however
Ordered some nice clothes however seams were coming apart on a pair of trousers and had to pay to return them myself.
I can understand that for normal returns the buyer should pay but for genuinely faulty goods a free returns service I feel should be provided.
