It was started with just the seeds of an idea. 2003 - in the humble surroundings of London's East End.
‘Streetwear’ as we know it, didn’t exist. Owning and starting a brand was reserved for corporations and the privileged few. Our aim – to change that. To create a British streetwear brand that set the standard and upheld the culture.
We had zero fashion knowledge and even less money. Our education came from underground UK music, design and skateboarding. The sacrifices were real, but the vision was always clear.
No days off; learning from scratch; hustling the sales; putting everything back into the brand; keeping things moving to pay the rent.
June 2003 – KING launched its first collection.
Our immersion in the culture led to collabs with emerging music artists of the time, including Plan B and Wretch32 as well as pioneering partnerships New Era and Starter, developing a global reputation as a leader in streetwear culture.
Since day one the brand has remained independently owned with the HQ still located in the manor, Stratford E15. From packing boxes in bedrooms, KING is now sold and distributed globally on five continents and online at king-apparel.com

Good quality and lasted longer than expected
Absolutely gutted this company has closed down. I’ve been wearing their gear for years. Always had good service and good quality products.
Hopefully they will start up again at some point.

This company communicates based on sustainability, but they don’t pay to their suppliers .
They just make joke with the factories hard work.

Been buying from King a bit but upon finding a Made in China label, I'm not sure why would I support the brand, as I thought the clothes were made in the UK. Just another fast-fashion brand with no integrity. I emailed them to raise this concern but no one got back to me

First class. Have had 2 orders from King, great quality products and delivered quickly. Had to send something back and exchange no problem and sent out and had it back within a few days. Absolutely fantastic and I’ll be back for more.

Bought a tracksuit, shorts and tee-set a while back which is still looking fresh. Great fit and comfy as you like!
Customer service has always been on point and items have always arrived on or before the times stated. Sales and discounts are frequent too so you get great value for money.
Waiting on an oder to arrive today for a pair of combats. No doubt they'll top notch too.

There was a mix-up from the distributor on the size sweatshirt I had ordered. Although it was past the 2 week return policy, I emailed King Apparel with my order number and the date ordered and the issue and they were VERY quick to apologize and make everything right. GREAT customer service!
