Excellent personalised service from Karl from start to finish. I have never owned a suit before so I was an absolute beginner. He was so helpful and was able to answer all my questions without issue. I love the end result and cannot wait to wear it on my wedding day!

I went to the Knutsford branch for 2 shirts and a cap. Karl was nothing but friendly and professional. The service from start to finish was excellent. I was kept well informed throughout the process of timescales and the final products were exactly what I asked for and were of a very high standard.

I couldn't recommend this tailor enough. I will definitely be going back for more clothes. I wish I had found them years ago.

K&A is one of the few places for women to get a tailored suit. They’re rightly proud of this and highlight it on their website. It seems to pay off for business: I was one of a string of three female clients in a row. All this considered, I was surprised K&A didn’t have a female attendant to take measurements. I would have been more comfortable being measured by a woman, and it would have given me extra confidence in the product to see a woman wearing a well fitted suit!

I came to King and Allen as I went let down by the other tailored company I used which ended up being a complete disaster where I ordered a year in advance before my wedding and still wasn’t right to when the wedding date should of been. Karl was brilliant he knew what had happened and advised on what would work and what wouldn’t, his tailoring experience is phenomenal. I would recommend this company without a doubt they have been amazing from start to finish. I am over the moon with the finished product and cannot wait to wear it on my wedding day ! Even through COVID my outfit was ready in time which the previous tailored place used as an excuse!
I will use them again even for just a jacket as the quality is amazing !

I have been dealing with Joe at the Liverpool St office for just over a year and have just had my 5th suit made.

Joe has provided an excellent level of expertise, patience and a wonderful grasp of my needs. Joe has taken the time to talk through all of the finer points lining,lapels, cut, buttons, to name a few and crucially the cloth which he explains in great detail in a way that is warm, friendly and professional.

I have felt totally at ease and when a suit has been made if I’ve asked for the trousers to be tapered a bit more or a waistcoat taken in a bit then this has been gladly accommodated though crucially I always value Joes opinion in terms of any adjustments which shows the very high regard I have for him.

Joe is a fantastic asset and adds considerable value to the brand.

I am really pleased with my suit and some additional trousers made for me by King & Allen. It’s the first suit I have had made and the whole experience from start to finish has been first class. I would highly recommend the company and would specially like to thank Jake for all his help and advice. In fact am so impressed I am having a pair of tartan trousers made ready for when we can next party ... !!

King and Allen have been great every step of the way - helping me choose the fabric and the style of my wedding suit as well as being very understanding when, like so many others, we had to postpone our celebrations. Jake is very personable and makes you feel at ease especially as the suit is such an important part of the big day!

Blown away by Karl at Wilmslow. Went in with an idea of how I wanted my wedding suit and he had it executed perfectly. Had to move the dates of the wedding due to Covid but he was able to accommodate as I took my foot off the gas a few times in getting to my fighting weight. Pleasure to deal with from start to finish and will be back for my winter overcoat. Cheers

I had looked for a long time to find the right outfit for my wedding and I knew that a dress would not have been something I would have felt comfortable or would have reflected me as a person so I decided to go for a suit. I looked through many high street stores and internet pages and nothing was right for what I wanted for my big day. I then through a search engine for bespoke women’s suits came across King and Allen and decided I would go and take a look. I attended a pop up shop in Birmingham back in February 2020 and was very apprehensive and took along my sisters for some moral support. This was when I met Karl whom from start to finish has been nothing but amazing. My initial consultation took quite some time as I had no clue what I wanted and did not have a colour in mind. Karl was patient and very informative and helped me make some initial decisions and I booked back in for a final suit design meeting for April. Then lockdown hit which sent everything into a spin everything closed down and I was so worried I would not be able to get my suit in time for the big day. Karl then arranged for us to have a zoom meeting in which he talked me through my design allowed me to ask a million questions and really made me feel at ease making a big decision even though it was over the internet. At this point I still had no clue what colour I wanted to go with so Karl ordered for the suit to be made into a base fitting material whilst he had swatches sent to me which really helped me when I was finally able to go into the shop. Then we eventually got the go ahead that I was able to go into store and take a look at my base fitting suit. Once again this appointment took quite some time and again Karl was on hand for every decision I was unsure of to help me make the right choice. Within 3 weeks the suit was made in the fabrics I had chosen and I went up for my first alteration fitting. I absolutely fell in love with my suit it was everything I had dreamed about and more. Once again Karl was able to make the alterations I wanted and needed and was on hand to help out with everything. I can honestly say that on your wedding day you want to feel absolutely amazing and even thought I was not in a traditional dress I felt every bit the princess a woman should feel on their big day. I cannot express how wonderful the suit made me feel wearing it and everyone commented on the colour and quality of the suit and I would buy another for another special occasion because it was worth every penny. A special mention must go to Karl as I have previously mentioned he was brilliant from start to finish always at the end of an email answering all my questions and helped me make my wedding outfit from dreams to reality so a massive thank you to Karl for doing that I really did appreciate it.

Thank you Joe! I couldn’t be happier with my tailor made wedding suit! This was the first time I’ve had a ‘made to measure’ suit and it definitely won’t be the last. Joe made the process easy and comfortable (even after lockdown restrictions were eased and we were both in masks!).
I was also able to meet some of the other tailors and they are all friendly and super professional. If I had any questions at all Joe replied happily and promptly via email.
Joe laughed when I told him I’d be sleeping in my suit, but it’s just that comfortable!

Jake the tailor did a good job! I am am odd shape so getting the measurements right was important; two fittings and the suit was perfect. Bespoke; worth every penny!

I have never had anything made for me before and I could not have been happier with the experience I had. Joe was so patient, kind and professional. I had no idea of the process and the multitude of different options available, but Joe explained things really calmly and was very patient with me. I was so happy with the final result I am definitely coming back and saving up for more suits!

King & Allen were a fabulous find for me. I am allergic to wool and to find a tailor who provide alternative materials and make suits that fit, was excellent. I have purchased on-line, so called made-to-measure suits, but they are been very poor. King & Allen have provided me with a made-to-measure suit that fits just how I like them, with my first suit being made from a Bamboo cloth. Please note this cloth is also Vegan friendly. I have since had a number of made-to-measure shirts, again fit perfectly. Currently I have another suit in process, this time made from a cloth which is from re-cycled plastic bottles. If you get a chance to see Jake Allen at their Surbiton shop, his knowledge and help, along with those final tweaks, make that suit fit you just how you want it.
