Bought a very small bag of sweets for the granbairn in eldon square Newcastle and was told it would be £7, I didn't check the card reader and later found they'd charged me £13..avoid at all costs.

Went to the one in Trafford Centre yesterday. To be fair the guy showed me roughly what 100g looks like. 1st bag was about £14 and second was like £9. Looked at the guy and I was like no way am I paying that much for a handful of sweets. Looked my kids in the eye and it was a straight no from me!! The guy was angry and even said the f word, I assume he is of Indian possible Sri Lankan descent. The whole operation is a joke.

Hope they burn this place to the ground. What a rude bunch of people and my god. I paid almost 20 pounds for 300 grams of candy. I'm not used to these kind of scams so I didn't pay attention... but as it dawned on me.. I was too proud to walk back in , expecting the obscene amount of staff to just make sure I walk out of there without causing trouble. Almost seems like a candy mafia.

WORST SHOP EVER! Why would any one go to this shop it is absolutely ridiculous. Prices are really bad. Just cannot belive it. Nasty sweets aswell🤢🤮.

Absolutely flabbergasted at the extortionate price of this place. Felt like I'd been robbed of £14 for sweets which shouldn't have cost any more than £6. First and last time I'll ever use them. Hope they go broke the greedy rob dogs!

My daughter came to cardiff to spend her birthday money today and despite my warning about the £2.99 per 100gram, kids don’t understand the weights and with no scales to check along the way, huge scoops and quite rude staff you are left to the till to get the price! £42 later pretty much all her money was gone on a pick and mix that should have cost no more than £15.00 if bought from a supermarket. Daylight robbery and she was to proud to not pay. STAY WELL CLEAR! Appauling.

20 quid for a handful of stale sweets that must’ve gone out of date years ago. Avoid this place, not only is it a rip off, but the sweets are horrible, stale and some of them tasted of washing up liquid. The food standards regulators need to visit .

Went to the TC with my 2 kids, didn’t get much in the bag & I thought I’d heard wrong, £29.96 🤣 I walked away & luckily my children are very understanding and also as disgusted as I was!

Would give 0 stars if possible.
Wow…. Put maybe 4 scoops max into the bag at the pick and mix stall. Didn’t even fill the bag a quarter of the way. Went to the till and the total was £28.

Some of the sweets were dirty and had dust on them too.

If I could give zero stars I would. Last night I decided to use this stall never again. I chose my sweets went to the till and was flabbergasted when he told me it was 44 pound. I was to embarrassed to put them back. The way the world is at the minute and the struggle I feel sorry for parents who's kids ask for sweets from this stall. I am far from tight and understand things cost money but this is literally ridiculous I feel the staff should at least wear masks at these prices daylight robbery I should of phoned the police to be honest as I felt like I'd be robbed hahaha.

Tried to charge my partner £34 for not even half a bag of sweets! He refused to pay and we left, not being able to get our head around it as you could literally buy a whole aisle of sweets in some shops for over thirty pound, we've looked at reviews and I honestly don't know how there getting away with charging these prices for sweets it's criminal!

I have been working at KOS for the past few months and i have never worked in a company as bad as this. Every pay day has been late averaging about 2-4 days late to pay. This time it has taken them a week (was meant to be paid last Friday and have still not been). All managers and higher staff are rude, obnoxious and selfish. Terrible sweets with high prices. I'm embarrassed to tell each customer the price of what they're buying. Pay is terrible. £5.28/hr at 17 years old. When i applied i was promised £10+/hr and with part times hours. I then worked 5-6 days a week for about 2 months. When I started I was not allowed any breaks when I was on a 6 hour shift. (17 year olds have a legal right to have a half an hour break every 4 hours). A few times when i have been at the til past workers of KOS have came in and told me how bad it was and advised me to leave. And overall, it really does surprise me they cant pay their employees on time considering they're actively doing fraud.

Ridiculous waste of money 16pound for tiny amount of sweets for my son. Wanted to refuse them but felt too embarrassed and ashamed to do so!!

Can’t believe how they are trying to rip people off.

I told my son and his friend to choose a few sweets. They both went mad, but when the total was £70 I felt physically sick. Was too embarrassed to put them back and ended up paying money I couldn’t really afford. Please avoid.

Went to the stall at Trafford centre. they had very large paper bags. told my 2 girls to only fill it a bit. As the bags were huge they put in a few sweets. They came to £45! I was shocked and appologised profusely anf asked the guy to put them all back as I did not have the money to pay for that. He was so arrogant and horrible about it. and snatched the bags off me. I told the girls they could pick 2 of them long stripy sweets. he charged me £6!. He just shrugged his shoulders and raised his eyebrows at me when I said that was still very expensive..I paid and walked away.. never again. literally daylight robbery.

How do they get away with ripping people off? Visited the Princes Street store in Edinburgh. They really should have scales at the pic n mix to check the weight as you fill your bag as i got to the till only to find the bag of jelly babies from the pic n mix cost me nearly £20! Won't be back !

Disgraceful price. Completely over the top. My son paid £17 for a bag of pic n mix containing a small quantity that would have cost a fraction at supermarkets. I understand that supermarkets will be cheaper but Kingdom of Sweets is daylight robbery.

Card only for starters ... tried charging me 37.20 for not alot of sweets
