Unacceptable lobby service.
The service in this hotel is totally unacceptable!
Contrary to our request, our room had no housekeeping service, which we found out after being out and about for the whole day.
I talked to the receptionist, Mr. D.T. Nguyen, who - although barely able to speak English - promised to take care of it while we were out to dinner. When we came home, we still had not have any housekeeping performed. Upon questioning, Mr. D.T. Nguyen first did not remember that we had spoken about the housekeeping two hours before. Then he claimed that 'in the system, you don't want housekeeping'. So he lied to us twice. I asked him to call the manager, to which he replied 'Manager not here'. Asking him if he could phone the manager, he began
scrolling through messages on his phone.
I gave up on him when he fumbled around on the phone for several minutes, to no avail. He was given two chances to remidy the situation and chose to blow both of them.
Further to the merits of this hotel, the breakfast room is tiny. You need to rub shoulders - and everything else - with other hotel guests while trying to have a nice breakfast.
We definally cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
