Without exception, the worst Lawyers I have ever dealt with in 35 years of trading - and I mean by a very, very long way. If there was a 'minus 7,482,001 button on here they wouldn't even make that! They never reply to emails, they never pick the phone up, they automate responses to lawyers and we are now in the 8th month of a deal selling one flat -with no chain!! This should have taken 8 weeks tops!!

DO NOT USE THEM! They will quote you cheap and then string the deal out in an effort to validate charging more fees which will be far in excess of what you were quoted. Just pay a local lawyer to the deal, pay a fair price and establish good solid HOT's with them - and leave this lot to end up where inevitably they will.

This company is very professional from start to finish. I highly recommend them. I am based in London but my property is up north. They made everything simple,
I hardly had to have any phone conversations. They have a portal for your case which is updated at every stage and easy to follow. My contact was Ellie, who is lovely and also emailed me at every step of the way. If I emailed her it was responded to promptly.
I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a smooth job done in a very timely manner, my purchase was finished within a month.

Don’t use. We were told this morning that our house purchase could be online. This was important for us as we are travelling in the UK at the moment. They then sent an e mail with access to their online case management service but to use this we had to have a PIN which they had sent in a letter to our home address 200 miles away. Without the PIN you can’t use the online service. When I raised this with them, they sent an email with documents attached for me to print and return. As I’m travelling I don’t have access to a printer. I have spent too much time today trying to resolve this on the phone, either not being able to get through, or being transferred to different people who couldn’t deal with my problem. I can’t get a refund of the £384 I paid this morning for searches. I am now going to complain to their Director of Conveyancing. Hopefully s/he can help if not it’s the Legal Ombudsman. I really don’t have time for all this hassle and incompetence.

The process was easy, efficient and effective. Access to my contact person was readily available and I always received a prompt response to any of my queries. The on-line tracker kept me up to date with tasks and I could check on progress at any time.

On the whole this company was quite efficient. It was possible to speak to someone by phone if needed and messages were answered in goof time

This was a hassle free experience despite the difficulties that our buyers had with their own buyer, which delayed matters. Kirkstall always answered my questions patiently and promptly.
It took some getting used to, but the online chat system in the end worked better than many i have experienced.

I couldn’t fault the service. At the beginning I had a few different solicitors working on my case and then lucky for me Terri Anne took over. She was very knowledgeable and always responded quickly to any query I had. She was calm, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely use Kirkstall again. The portal is also very good and easy to navigate.

Just bought a house with the help of Kirkstall Property Lawyers. The whole process was very smooth and uneventful. They were always ready to answer my queries and quick resolving any issue. I highly recommend.

This was our first house purchase and it wasn’t an easy one due to lots of issues with the sellers solicitors being difficult. Kirkstall however were brilliant and were always there when I needed them. Terri-Anne was assigned to our case and she was brilliant, she would always come back to me the same day when I reached out and always returned my calls. Even on days when she wasn’t around, someone else from the team replied in her place. The online portal was very helpful as well, it was good to see the progress bar going up bit by bit and to have all our documents in one place that was easily accessible. We will definitely be using Kirkstalls again in the future.

We were really impressed with Kirkstall Property Lawyers at the start. Very efficient, friendly and always quick to respond to our queries. Unfortunately, our case was passed to a new case handler and it's been a nightmare since. The communication is awful. We are constantly chasing and very rarely get a quick response. When we do (usually a week later) it is often to tell us they have whatever it is we are waiting for but haven't looked at it. Sadly, we wouldn't recommend.

I have had to sell several properties as a consequence of a bereavement. My experience with them is that they can sometimes be a bit slow to act, but that they are very professional and respond well to prompts and messages especially if you use their tracker portal. I had an issue with a worry relating to a potential loss of a sale and increased costs as a consequence. They have listened to my concern and assigned me to a senior conveyancing solicitor who works really hard. I must say that the communication and productivity I have seen since has been quite astounding. Really happy with the service, and hope Craig Dobson gets to see his compliment.
