I just paid a service company over $600 to repair our double oven. Turns out the 2 rivets holding the door-close switch failed presumably during a self cleaning cycle. The rivets appear to be aluminum... See more

KitchenAid dishwasher model KDFE204KWH1…
I bought dishwasher model KDFE204KWH1 in 2023, After two years the paint above the steam vent on the door is starting to flake off down to the bare metal. Kitchen Aid customer service told me that there is nothing they can do because the defect is cosmetic in nature and not covered
BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT PURCHASE!
Kitchen Aid food processor parts are not durable and can't be replaced
My Kitchen Aid food processor bowl had a plastic piece holding the handle on break within 2 years of purchase and when reaching out to customer service to buy a new bowl (which actually qualified for free replacement they told me) I was informed that the part is just not available. I have a perfectly good food processor that I guess just has to be entirely replaced instead of getting a simple part replaced. Really unethical business practice. I am so disappointed in my experience with the product quality and customer service experience and will purchase other brands moving forward.
NEVER BUY KITCHENAID
We bought a kitchenaid induction range brand new in 2022. It recently stopped working and the certified kitchenaid repair technician said it needs a new module that kitchenaid not longer makes and there is no way to repair the unit. $3200 for a fancy induction range down the drain. I tried calling kitchenaid customer service twice to see if there were any other options. On both occasions, I waited on hold for 10+ minutes and then was disconnected. I am absolutely disgusted with this company.
Appalling Customer Service
We purchased a kitchen Aid Kettle and after 9 months the kettle stopped working.
We reached out to kitchen Aid, followed the warranty repair process, boxed the kettle up and returned it.
We were advised it was not repairable and vouchers or replacement could be organised we requested a refund as this was the second kettle that had gone wrong.
Oh my goodness the customer service is absolutely of the chart awful - they just hang up on you!
Buyer beware , avoid this brand at all cost!!!
They charge premium prices however customer service is atrocious!!!!!
Avoid at all cost.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Don't waste time ordering from KitchenAid. Customer support is truly awful.
Worst customer service I ever dealt…
Worst customer service I ever dealt with. I ordered a KitchenAid mixer online and was told it would be shipped in 5 to 7 days. Didn’t get any notification after 7 days so I called customer service and they couldn’t tell me when the item was gonna be shipped. I called 3 times trying to cancel the order but they said they can’t because it’s in the warehouse. Unbelievable!!!
NEVER BUY KITCHENAID APPLIANCES…
We bought brand new kitchenaid appliances for our home and they are just terrible. The extended warranties don’t cover anything big and they just shit out on you within a few short years. Waste of money!!!!!!!!!!!
Awful Customer Care
Bought a Kitchen Aid mixer, finally, after many years wanting one but not having a finished kitchen for one. At first, I was happy with it. Bought some accessories, which were as pricey as the mixer but should’ve lasted a long time. The mixer broke whilst ‘kneading’ bread. These things happen but unfortunately, the customer care was appalling and after waiting 5 months, I still do not have a mixer. It was fixed after many emails and photos but returned damaged. I was upset at how long the repair had taken but little did I know I would still be waiting now. It can’t be replaced as model is no longer sold. They have offered vouchers but this doesn’t cover cost of ‘new’ equivalent or cost of accessories. The customer service team only have a script so you can’t actually resolve anything. Do yourselves a favour and buy any other make of mixer. DO NOT BUY KITCHEN AID!
KitchenAid 3.5 cup mini food chopper
KitchenAid 3.5 cup mini food chopper
I bought a new one after my old one (same model) stopped working after 10 years. I was happy with the old one and used it regularly.
I never used the new one! I couldn't get the lid apart to wash it, even though I never had trouble with this with my old chopper. My brother struggled with it, and ended up breaking the lid. I checked the manual and there were no instructions for taking apart the lid. I called KitchenAid and the service rep told me the lid was not to be taken apart. This is unhygienic because not washing the two parts separately means the lid will not get properly cleaned and dried. Moreover, my old chopper with the same lid mechanism came apart easily for cleaning.
It seems to be that instruction manuals are now vague and unhelpful so as to evade sleazy lawyers rather then to provide meaningful customer service.
I am out of the cost of my new unused mini chopper and will no longer buy any KitchenAid products.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE - CALL CENTRE ABROAD THAT CONSTANTELY LIE - 10 WEEKS AND STILL NOT RESOLVED - Will be reporting you to Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Trading standards. I will no longer purchase KitchenAid with no warranty and support !
Horrible customer service
I went online to purchase my daughter a KitchenAid stand mixer for her birthday. I made the order it went through and a day later I got an email saying that my order was canceled. I called them to find out why and they said there was something that the system flagged on my card that caused it to be cancelled and that I’d have to take my business elsewhere. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my card. I called customer service to talk to them. The guy said there was nothing he could do. I asked to be transferred to someone above him and she was borderline rude and dismissive letting me know there was nothing she could do. They couldn’t talk to me to try and verify any information or go through the process of purchasing it with me. They just completely dismissed me and told me to take my business elsewhere. I asked about anybody above her and they told me I had to write in to the corporate office. I ended up purchasing my KitchenAid mixer from another company, but I will never do business with them again. The only reason I even bought their product from somewhere else was because that’s what my daughter wanted. The amount of zero care and zero interest in trying to help me work through whatever the issue was on their side and help me purchase the product was horrendous. And they acted annoyed that I didn’t understand how they could just flag my card for something and then not even try and work through it. I did think that possibly I had purchased something that they no longer had in stock and that was away for them to get out of completing the order. Either way it was horrible Customer Service it’s a horrible process for escalating. anything above the management that was completely dismissive and rude instead of trying to help me. Whoever is in charge of this process needs to take a better look at it if you’d give any care about Customer Service.
Hai..Im from Malaysia...Im have bad…
Hai..Im from Malaysia...Im have bad experience with the services center because they didn't let me know about how much the services charge after i send in the product after 3 day working day...on the first day they already detected the problem, but they said can collected it after 20 mins. After i leavethe services center the person in charge call me they want to check and let me know by next working day. After i call back the 2nd day they still not yet let me know what is the charges because of the person in charge was on leave. Then the next day I call back there give a reason about many product need to repair so the technician not give them the report that why they can provide me the price..Then i was disappointedto that answer by customer service.I tell to my self this is the last time i will send my machine n services there...I will plan to change to any brand for my next purchase..i will not buying the product and use it after this.

The dishwasher died after two months
The dishwasher died after two months. Over the last 3 1/2 days we have spent over two hours on hold without reaching a human. We tried their Chat multiple times, leaving the model and serial numbers and received no reply.
Today I got a person (I think) on Chat and after 30 more minutes of back and forth her advice was another website.
They will not call a customer and there is no way to leave a voice mail. Avoid Kitchen Aid and their related companies.
Premium KitchenAid fried after six years
I paid over $4,000 for a KitchenAid range. Premium price. Premium branding. It failed after just 6 years — control board fried, sensor gone.
KitchenAid’s response? 15% off a new unit. No repair support, no goodwill — and worse, the rep said parts might not even be available.
This isn’t about wear and tear. It’s a critical failure of internal components, well within the expected lifespan. At this price point, the reasonable expectation is 10–15 years.
What KitchenAid delivers today is stainless steel aesthetics, not lasting quality. A $4K appliance shouldn’t become e-waste in year six.
Never buying from them again — this is what happens when branding outpaces engineering.
AquaLift Oven Cleaning Does Not Work
I purchased this KitchenAid range in October of 2022. The innovative AquaLift oven cleaning system fails to clean the oven effectively. Prepare yourself to manually clean the oven on your knees. Moreover, obtaining assistance from KitchenAid product support is nearly impossible. Additionally, one end of the large burner ring on the stove does not heat at all. I would recommend buying a different brand.

I was supposed to receive my stand mixer on April but DHL lost my parcel (delivered to the wrong address, somehow)…
After numerous emails and calls they finally confirmed that they cannot find it and will fully refund me. I keep being lied that the process takes maximum 2 weeks, but that was on 14th of May and I send them emails on every 2-3 days asking for my money back but they just ignore me completely. If anyone can advise where should I go with this, as it wasn’t a cheap mixer and this company seems to be a joke.
Extremely poor customer service - no response for almost a month
I ordered two KitchenAid products and requested a return via my account on May 21, 2025. It's now been almost a month, and despite sending multiple emails (with all required details) and trying to call, I have not received any meaningful response or return label.
It is incredibly frustrating to deal with such poor communication from a brand I expected much better from. My return is still not processed, and I feel completely ignored. Very disappointing experience - I would not recommend KitchenAid based on this level of service.
Disappointing Experience with KitchenAid.com – Poor Support
I tried to purchase several products from KitchenAid’s official website (kitchenaid.com) between May and June 2025. My orders were rejected multiple times without explanation. I contacted customer service, but the representative refused to provide their full name and simply suggested I buy the products on Amazon instead — which I find dismissive and unprofessional.
As a result, I lost the opportunity to buy a KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer at a promotional price of $269. It returned to its regular price of $449.99, which caused a clear economic loss. I also wasted several days trying to make my purchase and resolve the issue.
Products I was unable to purchase:
Artisan 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer – Matte Dried Rose
5-Speed Corded Hand Blender – Blue Velvet
Food Processor Attachment with Dicing Kit
I respectfully request that KitchenAid / Whirlpool offer compensation, either through a gift card or economic refund for the inconvenience and loss of time and promotional opportunity.
KitchenAide Dishwasher relabeled?
A few years ago, I purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher from Lowe's. Last week the top rack broke, so I went on the KitchenAid website, searched my model number and ordered a kit to replace the broken parts. When I received the parts I installed them an discovered they didn't fit, so I called KitchenAid to fix the issue. I gave the model number to the parts rep and she said the number didn't come up but the part should work and she sent me the instructions. The parts clearly were nowhere near being correct and I was offered to return them, shipping on my dime. After quite a bit of research, I figured out my Dishwasher has a Whirlpool model number, so I had to work around, order parts for a Whirlpool dishwasher which leads me to believe Lowe's and KitchenAide/Whirlpool sold me an inferior relabeled product. Feeling scammed.
