Had a terrible experience with this…

Had a terrible experience with this company. The wetsuit I ordered took over a month to arrive I called them and it was a pre recorded message saying they were closed for christmas, this was back in November. I emailed them and still haven’t heard back. On getting here the package was in awful condition. And on top of that I had to pay a 92£ import tax on it before it could be delivered! Don’t buy from kiteworldshop it’s a bloody rip off.

Inappropriate packaging and eccessive customs fees with excessively expensive carriers (+50% of item price in fees)

Specific do deliveries outside of EU, the website should inform what carrier will be used and what tariffs and fees will incurr. Providing a specific or at least a range of amounts the customer has no surprises.

Offering the option to chose the carrier.

Using a better packaging with reinforced empty spaces to avoid boxes to crush easily and risk item damages during transport. By the way, the expensive and premium carrier, UPS, will not give high quality service but rather than taking the responsibility of package damaging they will blame Kiteworldshop for shameful packaging. Regardless of both Kiteworldshop being s premium website and UPS being a premium carrier, there is no premium experience. At all.

We always use new and good quality packages so it was probably not handled with care during transport. We're sorry about that but it's good to know that, despite this, the product was not damaged. Good costumer service

Initially, I tough that there was a mistake with my order. However, costumer service responded quickly to my emails and the problem went away, it was a mistake from my part.

Great price and service

I ordered a 2P Jobe tribal towable for Christmas and it arrived within 6 days. The only negative aspect was that the parcel was delivered while I was absent and the delivery instructions, received from Kiteworldshop, specified "When you receive the shipment we ask you to verify that the packages are in perfect conditions and without any sign of damage or tampering before accepting them. We also ask you to sign the delivery receipt with "content verification reserve"." Obviously, this step was not performed (although the package was in good condition and showed no signs of tampering).

Misled and ripped off.

I looked at several sites, you had the best price on the item I wanted so I made the order. I didn’t realize your shipping was $66 so you were now the most expensive. I should have seen that. Then I was told I had a $45 duty charge. Now you were drastically more expensive and this wasn’t obvious it would happen. I feel completely misled, ripped off.

Delivery cost issues + stock mismatch

Delivery costs were off; I had to contact support to fix it for my order.
While doing it, 2 out of 3 items that I was interested in became unavailable.

At least one was shipped in the end, but overall, it was disappointing.
