I love physical books, but my eyes can no longer handle the tiny print in most paperbacks. What a relief to pick the font and size and lighting that I need. Also very comfy and easy for reading in bed.

easy to use, very light, long battery life!
Good price and easy to use.
Lovely device, bought to replace a Kobo Clara which was accidentally broken. Quick start up from shut down which was taking ages before. Clear sharp text, faster page turns. Love it
Device would crash and freeze every few minutes.
Never received
A must for book readers and the perfect economical way to read linking it to Libby app and library cards
I read my Kobo everyday! Cannot live without it!
I love how you can separate your books into different collections so I am able to organise mine through different genres of books. The lighting is great. The beta feature can be a bit laggy but it works just fine. It’s very lightweight and portable for on-the-go.
My first ereader, and I enjoy it even more than I thought I would. Text is crisp and no ghosting, however you need to change the default settings, I chose 'refresh every 10 pages'. Screen is a pleasure to read, and plenty of customization options for page appearance. The interface is intuitive and simple. The only thing I find annoying is you can't link multiple libraries at once, but I just login or out when I start a new book, not a big deal. It's been exactly a month of reading almost everyday and the battery is still at 44%
Love my kobo!! So great for traveling. Easy to set up.
Easy to use. Good light adjustment. Great improvement on a old version it has replaced
I am really enjoying the upgrade to the Kobo Clara B&W. Nice to see the power button ergonomics greatly improved. Screen is good for reading in daylight or at night.
I never received it.
I bought the Kobo as an alternative to buying a Kindle, so I could read library books via Overdrive. I'm really disappointed with the functionality. The Overdrive books have an annoying pop up for footnotes when you try to swipe the page, and they also often appear to not be downloaded and need to resync when I open up the Kobo. Resyncing takes a while, and I wonder if I will be able to access my library books when I travel and don't have constant access to wifi. Not very happy with the experience so far.
I read long big books. Heavy books. The Kobo is almost weightless. It is such a nice change comparred to big heavy books. I don't need extra lighting. I can read in total darkness. The device can store an almost endless supply of books. I can get epubs for almost any book, even outside of Kobo. The interface with Calibre is great too.
The customer service is nonexistent
Lightweight, easy on the eyes, works with Libby/Overdrive. Love it! :)
I have been looking for a simple water proof ebook reader that allows translation of paragraphs as I am reading in a foreign language. While Kobo does not do this out of the box (which contributes to the 4 rather than 5 stars) this can be relatively easily achieved trough NickelMenu. The other 4 star reason is that marking text seems to be a bit fickle and tends to first produce a page turn (set to swiping rather than touching) or a menu appearance. Maybe just some slighlty different length of pressing or similar might get around this, but it is a bit annoying. Otherwise, great little thing.
Bought it as a gift. My daughter Loves her reader, uses it daily!
