It's a pretty object, even nicer in its well-designed official case. The use of recycled plastic is great and still looks like a high quality product, no compromise. The B&W e-ink screen is very easy and comfortable to read, while the backlight is perfect for flexibility. It's occasionally a little unresponsive, though - sometimes responding differently from how I thought I tapped, sometimes lagging a bit. Extremely minor, though, and overall I find it very good to use.

The Kobo Clara BW has great software and it's super easy to read with. My device did come with two dead pixels on the screen but they're not noticeable most of the time.

This is a great improvement over my previous Kobo which developed a touchscreen issue (where I was unable to use the on-screen keyboard to log in to a new router). I particularly like the backlight on this model, but it still has the issue where it occasionally flips over 2 pages.

absolutely love this ereader. i switched from a 2019 kindle basic and not only is the device itself faster, the UI is soooo much nicer and the extra features really just make me wonder how i lasted with a kindle for so long. i love the warmth light and dark mode and especially love the syncing with instapaper.

Love this reader! It works flawlessly with my local collection of ebooks and syncs with my Booklore server with minimal setup! Great for reading in bright sunlight (I live in Florida) or at night when your partner is sleeping. It's my first ebook reader and I could not be more happy with it! I've had it for a little over a month and use it multiple times a day.
