Not Much Customer Service

I placed an order for 2 items 1/19/26. Both shipped via UPS separately. I received an empty envelop today which supposedly contained one item. Called customer support at Kohl's. Was told I have to wait til I receive the other item before they can help me.

Went to return 2 tops that didn't fit

Went to return 2 tops that didn't fit. When I looked at my return receipt they took off kohls cash that I did not have for that order. When I called to tell them that my previous order did not qualify or have any kohls cash they told me that the order that I placed and that the tops were in was eligible for kohls cash for that order which could be applied to future orders. So here is my beef when I returned my tops they said they were taking off the kohls cash I earned from the order for the tops that were to be used for future orders. I don't get that I never had the kohls cash for my order when I placed it for my tops so they should not have taken anything off it was earned on that order for FUTURE ORDERS SO BASICALLY THEY TRY TO SCREW YOU WHEN YOU RETURN ITEMS. Also when you call they won't let you talk with a supervisor. I ask for a call back and we will see if that happens. I don't expect it to happen but we will see. If this doesn't get resolved I will be cutting up my kohls card and shopping at Walmart and Amazon they are cheaper anyways. Kohls items are higher priced and coupons or kohls cash doesn't bring the price down enough to compete with the competition .

WORST ONLINE ORDERING EXPERIENCE EVER!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Two things. 1) Regret I did not look at TrustPilot BEFORE ordering from KOHL’s! 2) CLEARLY KOHL’s DOES NOT CARE by the number of reviews & ratings!! I’m reporting them to BetterBusinessBureau & Consumer Protection Agency. They handled a simple order of FOUR items deplorably! Just terrible. Divided into THREE friggin’ parts! One went to a place & store for PICK UP in CALIFORNIA! I’ve never heard of & DO NOT even live in that state!!
The fact that TWO of the four were shipped to CORRECT address- the pick up for one item was in the correct city & state- & those ALL MATCH my credit card information seemed to miss all logic of picking up any part of my order in a city I’ve never heard of!?!? TERRIBLE!!
Their WEBSITE has ISSUES!! No matter how many times I tried to change my location on the site it changed back to someplace in California I don’t know!! THAT is also where part of my order went!! Really KOHL’s you have to be aware of your technical issues!! It’s COSTING YOU CUSTOMERS & MONEY!! How idiotic is that??

Don't trust their Promotions

Back in Sept around the 18th I was visiting a sick aunt for the day no clothes or anything 6 hour drive she passed while there, I went to Kohls purchased a couple new outfits for the stay and the funeral. Went to Saphora got some makeup and the clerk was telling about the spend 95 on the samples perfume get a big one free so I purchased it. Went home used the samples went to purchase "My free one" and the coupon had it expired on Sept 5 - 14 days Before I purchased it. Today I reached out to customer service and was told they cannot help I have to Drive 6 hours back to the original store!!! Are you Serious I have been a loyal customer is Kohls for many years and do believe I will be canceling my card.

If I could give them a zero I would

If I could give them a zero I would. I ordered clothing for my husband’s winter trip and it did not arrive. Kohls uses UPS and it was not delivered yet Kohls has not refunded me. Their customer service is horrendous and unprofessional. Im out over $150 and all because the UPs driver dropped off my package in some random spot, not my home, and they call it proof. I will never purchase anything that requires delivery feom them again. Zero help AVOID THEM AT ALL COST BUT IT WILL COST YOU.

I bought a lot of things from Kohl’s over this Christmas holiday and I had to return quite a few things every time I return stuff they gave me less money than what I bought it for and they also gave me Kohl’s cash not money back money back. I know for sure, I did not use Kohl’s money. They don’t care they’re not helpful. They just continue to rip people off by buying things returning them at lesser value than what you paid trying to push Kohl’s cash on you and then people re-buying the same items where they ripped off other customers.

Kohls has gone downhill

I am sharing this experience to highlight a gap between policy and fair customer outcomes.

I purchased a suitcase from Kohl’s on December 1. It was used once and immediately showed a defect with the telescoping handle. Store staff confirmed it was eligible for exchange, but the item was not available in-store. When I asked if a replacement could be ordered as part of the exchange, I was told this was not possible and was instead advised to repurchase the item online at full price, 269.00, and then exchange it. This would have required fronting several hundred dollars, which is not a reasonable expectation.

The only other option offered was a return, but that would not have made me whole because previously earned Kohl’s Cash would have been deducted, even though the return was due to a defect and not customer choice.

While employees followed policy, the policies themselves did not provide a fair resolution for a defective product within the return window. In situations like this, customers should not be financially penalized or forced into impractical workarounds to resolve a manufacturer defect.

Bought 3 men's items

Bought 3 men's items, 3 t shirts , Hanes 5 pack underwear, 3 pack of dress socks, total $106. Same items on Amazon were $55. Never shop there again. Can see why nobody was shopping in the store .

Kohls is horrible on every level

Kohls is horrible on every level! From tech that flashes from free shipping and then charges you, Kohls cash is always a nightmare, quality is awful with higher prices to worthless customer service! If I were the CEO of Kohls..the first thing I would do is follow Wal Mart's way of thinking! Get rid of Kohls Cash and offer rock bottom prices at all times equal to the junk you sell! Hey CEO, do something! Maybe start by reading mostly 1xstar reviews....only the really awful have reviews this bad!

Worst Customer Service Ever

I spoke with one of the most unprofessional customer service representatives. All they said was, "We can’t help," and when I asked to speak with someone to file a claim, they told me that if I wanted to speak with someone else, I could hang up and call back. They also said that Kohl’s doesn’t have a customer service email or claims department, which I find unacceptable.

For some context: I purchased a bed frame online. The estimated delivery date was initially shown as the 6th to the 9th, but after one day it was changed to the 15th–19th. I needed the item sooner, so I called to cancel the order because the website did not allow me to cancel it online

Worthless Customer Service

Called customer service to change the phone number on my rewards account. Only able to change address online. Chat option could not help and two calls to customer service did not help. Asked to be transferred to a supervisor and was sent to a survey instead. I was told they would need to text me a confirmation number and the number I have is under someone else's name. I've had the number for eight years. I will be closing my account at Kohl's and never walking through their doors again. This is not the first time I have had trouble with their customer service over a very simple thing.

Kohl's - never again

their order verification system by only offering to send a text messages is a disaster for customers who don't have a cell phone contract in the US like us. So much wasted time with incompetent customer service and non flexible ordering system.

No Delivery - No Refund

We purchased a robot vacuum for Christmas. The package never arrived and we opened an investigation with UPS. It's now been a month. I have called Kohls multiple times to try and get a refund. They said that they can't refund the order because they show it as delivered, but UPS shows it as an open investigation. Kohls' advice was to dispute it with our credit card company. Now we have to wait to see how the charge back goes with Capital One.

When did Kohl’s cashiers stop bagging…

When did Kohl’s cashiers stop bagging purchases? I had an armful of clothes and some bedding and after the cashier rang it up, and I paid, he just shoved it all at me. “Did you want a bag?” he finally asked. “Please,” I replied. So he handed me a bag and I had to load it all in there. THEN, when I got home, I discovered that he hadn’t removed the security device off of a sweater so now I have to take it back to have it removed.

Very disappointed. I used to really like Kohl’s but I’m done with them.

12-30-25 NO PRODUCT, NO KHOL CASH, NO RESPONSE FROM SUPERVISER: LOST MONEY LOST TIME

My experience took 1hr and 46minutes of exasperating useless on line with customer service.
Twice i provided all info, n placed an order and provided my Khol Cash reward. The secure line for providing my credit card info was done twice.
Returned to customer service and was told my three digit code was not correct.
I just completed a transaction with another company and purchased a $395 vacuum cleaner with my card. NO PROBLEM.
The khols on line associate requested i placed the order a third time I refused after this fiasco.
Demanded a supervisor who was useless and did nothing and REFUSED TO EXTEND MY KHOLS CASH OR PROVIDE A NEW ONE TO SHOP AT THEIR STORE DESPITE WASTING MY VALUABLE TIME AND LOSS OF KHOL CASH. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. HORRIBLE SERVICE,.LOSS OF 2.5 HOURS OF MY TIME AND MY KHOL CASH.
