Pretty but fragile
The shoes do look good and they’re a reasonable price but I’ve had my trainers for less than a year and all the stuffing at the back is coming out so I’m gonna have to throw them away soon
So yeah they look nice but they fall apart pretty quickly in my experience which sucks :/

cancelling orders
It seems like my package was not even sent out. From the start, it didn't have any updates and after waiting +12 working days, I decided to contact the customer service about it. They acted like it was lost even tho the status was clearly telling me that they never even bothered sending it or clarifying anything. It's upsetting that I would have waited WEEKS without them contacting me just to get the order cancelled because of lies.

Slow communication
My first time using Koi. Ordered some shoes and when they arrived they were faulty. The company first offered me 10% back (£4) then 20% back. Considering they were faulty I asked for a replacement which they confirmed they could do.
Sending the shoes back wasn’t too difficult however the entire communication process took so long with frequent chasing on my end that by the time they responded to me all the stock remaining were apparently also faulty and the replacement couldn’t be sent. This is incredibly annoying. Had they told me this was the case I may have taken the 20% and kept the shoes. But they did not. They let me send them thinking I would get a replacement.
I appreciate them not sending me another faulty shoe so that’s why this is two stars and not one, but I can’t say I will ever use this company again due to how terrible and slow the communication is, and I went to a lot of effort and stress to end up with nothing at the end. During this time I could have bought other shoes for an event and now I have ran out of time. Very frustrating.
They said they will refund me. I will update if that happens but it hasn’t yet.
EDIT: took another chase for them to refund me and when they did they refunded the wrong amount and are about £7 short so I’ve had to chase AGAIN to demand full payment. I can’t believe how this company gets anything done with such sloppy service. As they can’t even process a basic refund I am taking off the extra star and putting it down to one star. AVOID.

Unable to Review- Not arrived
April 28, edit: I pulled a harsher edit from this. I was given a refund out of nowhere yesterday and I was really upset about it. Koi reached out today and explained why they did what they did, as well as an apology. I'm not mad at the situation, I am a little frustrated at the out of orderness of how the refund process worked, but with the correct info, I'm now much happier and calm about everything. Not sure what happened, but apparently the parcel is just stuck in Jersey and the order is being investigated. So I've gotten my money back, and they said if the parcel ships to me after everything, I could still keep it. And that is something I do greatly appreciate. Little bumpy road, but it appears to have worked itself out.
If the parcel shows up, I'll update to speak on the shoes/tote!

I can't rate the shoes or tote bag I got as they have not arrived yet. I've received a bunch of emails requesting reviews within the past week, and I really can't review something I don't have.
I ordered on March 30th, got a processing update and then a notification it was accepted in Jersey on April 2nd and that's it.
I've emailed customer service and waited a week for a response (not terrible timing), only for them to say the same my tracking did: it's in Jersey and I should receive an update upon arrival in my country or when there's an update available.
I'm sad to be writing this because I have Koi brand shoes I've bought in stores that I love due to comfort and their uniqueness. I was really hopeful to wear these for my commencement ceremony, but given that's in a week (today is April 24, and commencement is May 1), I fear I will have to go find a backup pair.

Great delivery service from royal mail and extremely kind and friendly customer service, the parcel even came to my door. After the bullying I've faced online I'm not sure I'll be treated this well again for a LONG time.
