They are truly the worst of the worst

They are truly the worst of the worst. I have never dealt with a customer service department less organized and clueless than the one of KPN. Trying to cancel my subscriptions was a complete nightmare and I am pretty sure they do this on purpose to torture you for leaving. I'm still receiving bills for a service that was stopped over a month ago. When I finally get a "rep" on the phone, they are clueless and it's endless rerouting and redirecting on the phone. Noone knows anything. They are hiring people off the streets with no clue.

The worst company on this planet

1 star is a compliment for this terrible company. JUST STOP USING KPN. The worst company ever. IT took me 4 months and I still cant get a telephone. Even I called and they made sure everything is filled normal and they changed what they considered I made wrong, My married surname I placed first, as in my all documents, and still the delivery didn't give it to me, as they changed nothing. A bunch of liars, unlogic, stupid scam company. the biggest scam in Europe, not the biggest telecom in Europe. NEVER USE KPN. They are the worst. Why there is no 0 star? 1 is too much for them. They don't even care about their reviews, and 81% of 1 star.

The worst company and service on this…

The worst company and service on this planet. the biggest in the Europe but I call it the biggest scam. It is already 3 months I cant get a telephone, because of the surname, as I have two; married one as well. I called them, they changed it, and again the delivery did not give it. I call KPN and literally attacked them, all they have was excuses. KON made me sure that they changed as it has to be and I would get the order and I still did not get it. Nothing was chanaged.
They dont deliver telephones, they are just advertising themselves, like Corona, was he biggest name but in the bad way. Lets stop using this service, that they finally stop being the biggest company in Europe. This is the worst company.

The worst experience you can think of

The worst experience that one can think of. Trying to cancel my mobile subscription since a month, and their email address keeps answering with stupid questions and no solve. Out of frustration, I decided to cancel my wifi as well and go to a better provider. Question of time for them to go bankrupt.

I have been battling for near a month

I have been battling for near a month. Always the promise “ I will call you back” or my colleague will call you back and never happens . Always empty promises . Still waiting to be contacted.
And when you call, they cannot do anything, needs to be the previous person , so “ they will call you back” (not).
Done with it

At KPN, the customer is nothing.

So much contempt, no consideration...
KPN disables my landline (vast bellen) by mistake.
Week 1 : I go to my local store at the end of the week (Sunday). They open a complaint (klacht). Back home, I phone the customer service. They cannot do anything because it is Sunday.
Week 2 : Monday, I phone the customer service. They say it is strange I was told they could not anything on a Sunday. They claim they open a ticket. I phone back later the same day. They cannot find any ticket. Tuesday, I call 3 times. 3 times I have to restart the router etc. When home tests are completed, the agent does not know what to do. Wednesday, I call back. I explain the problem is not in my house. But still they want me to restart the router/modem etc... I call again on Wednesday, a woman says she wants to take care of my problem. She calls me back on Friday. Friday, I get a text. I call back the number with the code. The agent does not know what to do. He asks me to wait for the lady (the one from Wednesday) who is due to call me back in the afternoon. The afternoon, the lady says to call the number. I tell her I did it and her colleagues asked me to wait to her.
She insists I need to phone her colleagues. I explain they do not know what to do. She says she cannot do anything. So much for taking care of me...
I call the number again. Another woman takes the call. I explain the problem is not in my house. The lady wants me to restart the router. I did several times already. I repeat the problem is not in my house.
She asks again. I hang up and go to the store. She phones back. I tell her I am going to my local store for help.
After calling so many times, with no progress, I decide the only way to restore service is to change provider. I sign with Ziggo.
Week 3 : Friday, I phone back. I am told the complaint was closed. The woman closed the complaint last Friday with the note claiming I refused to cooperate. The agent who took my call refuses to listen to me. I ask to say something but she continues to speak.
Then, I manage to ask when they can fix the line. She says "You are moving to Ziggo. We are not going to fix the line because you are moving." She had been so unpleasant that I ended the call insulting her. Insults are not civil but it made me feel better after the impolite tone and disrepectful manners.
Week 4 : Kpn continues to leave me with a dead phone line.

Company unable to restore service. One agent cannot confirm what the previous agent said. Totally unreliable. The customer is NOTHING at KPN.

Do not take the risk, do not join the KPN mafia.

Extra costs over extra costs

This company is ridiculous. I’m not sure if I can call it pishing but literally for 5 days late payment cuz I was in my holiday and my card was not filled, they charged me extra 30 euro and blocked my simcard. This first month. On the next factuur I see another 33 euro for unblocking my simcard. Its like they can just make names for pressing a button and after ask money for it? So so sick of them
Yes, it is my first ever review let to some company because no company pissed me of in this outrageous and low level way as KPN did. It’s embarrassing I hope they realise
Peace and kiss my

Regret signing the contract

So. KPN is a company full of liars. Their sales agents are walking around Eindhoven late at 8-9pm, ringing the doorbell when my child is asleep. I had them visit us 3-4 times in a couple of months, and then I finally agreed to have a conversation with one person who promised internet at higher speed, laughed at how much we're paying for a different provider, and really guaranteed, on paper, that KPN speed&quality is better. Fine, okay, let's give it a try.

The next steps were nightmare. Difficult to agree on the date to start installing the internet. Self-installation didn't work, and we had to call them million times, to only hear "we don't know what's the issue, the technician can come next week". Meanwhile our previous provider ended the contract. I work from home mostly, so I stayed without any internet for 1 week, having poor mobile connection.

Then comes the long-awaited technician, and says this could be fixed remotely, one week ago, if their customer service on the phone wasn't dumb.

Now, we finally have the long-awaited and "fast internet" that is "definitely better than anything else because of bla bla bla". Just bullshit. KPN internet works the same as any other provider, it's not significantly cheaper, it didn't worth the stress.

Yes, we can still cancel the contract, but this means I'd need to go through another week of stress installing a different provider and getting rid of KPN. So KPN has only given me a headache of a couple months, it didn't help me in any way.

KPN is such a big organization with huge budgets and partners, aren't they smart enough to fix the most important part of the business - the customer service?! This is ridiculous and silly.

And stop sending your teenagers around, ringing the door bells. Work on quality, so people actually want to use KPN. Forcing people to talk and giving false promises is not how a big serious company should operate. Grow up already!

Everything about KPN was extremely…

Everything about KPN was extremely awful, their attitude, their service. Avoid them and go with Ziggo. We had too many problems to name but some included their service team cutting off our electricity while installing mandatory hardwares updates and blaming us for it, not allowing us to bring back our router box and then demanding we did 4 months later with threatening emails. I will never use KPN again, they are snakes.

KPN Internet does not deliver

KPN Internet does not deliver, KPN TV is slow, keeps restarting of its own accord, the guide is slower than slow. I have cabled ethernet throughout my home, so it's not down to dodgy WiFi (and I have a strong WiFi on top of this).
Worst internet experience in 25 years.

Annoying and unlogic

The website is difficult to navigate. I can find three different prices when you search via Google and get directed to the KPN.com website. Buttons are unlogic and unclear.

Scammers

Scammers, scammers, scammers

You pay for 1000mb/s only to get 30mb/s. I have tested the connection using a cable, using the wifi, using multiple different speed test websites, directly next to the modem, from the other side of the house, using a laptop, computer, smartphone etc etc. I never get more than 300mb/s...

You call a technician, he whips out his KPN connection measure tool and tells you that everything is working just fine, since his machine gets 935mb/s (which is also not 1000mb/s, and I have never reached 935mb/s, atmost 350mb/s using an ethernet cable).

He also changes the modem and tells you "you are lucky, normally you would have to pay for this", which seems very untruthful to me...

Scammers.

horrible company

horrible company, been in contact with kpn for over 3 years about fiberglass, finally installed and now it is still not working properly, no way to get in contact with the service desk, my tv is not working, trying to get in contact, no way possible and I prefer to pay double the amount per month for Ziggo. With Ziggo, I can always get in touch with KPN not, it is a lousy company.
After 3 years, I am a costumer who knows what she is talking about and don't ever take KPN!!!

3 months after subscription cancellation they are still charging me

I cancelled my subscription october 2nd for mobile and internet via their website. THEY ARE STILL CHARGING ME 44,11 euros and 18,98 euros every month since. I called from outside the country through my dutch friend who spoke in dutch to them, because there is NO ENGLISH phone line and no outside of netherlands number (had to called via paid skype). The line cut, we spoke to 2 different person, they said to send an email. 1 month later, no answer from their email, and they are still charging me. This is the worst client service I had ever seen in my life I think.

They cheat at the conclusion of two contracts

I do not recommend using this provider. I bought 2 subscriptions: to myself and my wife. I asked to make a contract for 1 year. They made a contract for 1 year for my number, and for my wife for 2. When I tried to contact them by phone number and ask how it could be changed, they said that now these are my problems and now I need to pay for the remaining year to get out of their subscription. Hate.

KPN review

I put one star because I cannot put a 0. KPN is by far the worst telephone company in the Netherlands. I have been trying to cancel my contract since June and I keep calling them every week and no one knows what to do. They keep sending me invoices after they said it was cancelled and last week I got an invoice for €200 even though they said it would be free of charge. When I emailed them a complaint, I didn’t receive any reply. Do not choose them!!!
